Like this is the result of playing a character because you want to get the highest rank vs playing a character because you want to climb to the highest rank you can reach mindset. LTG has absolutely no idea how to play feng and more or so has no idea how to play the game at all.
Literally the only time I've seen him commit to low-tier characters in a minor (ha) capacity was in Street Fighter 4. Since then, he's consistently been playing characters that are like top 10, top 3. He's good at making his characters look weak though, I'll give him that.

TMM philosophy on learning and excepting losing sometimes is spot on. When COD MW1 came out on PS3, I played that again a ton, and I lost a ton, but I didn't care because the game was fun. If you're not having fun playing the game, what's the point? Do what you enjoy, and challenge yourself, and if that challenge at hand is too daunting, either hard commit to improvement and find enjoyment in the uphill climb, or let it go and move on.
One word was used throughout patience. LTG doesn't learn from his mistakes to improve but whines about other players. You can see his mistakes had opportunities to launch but choose differently instead of damn I missed he blames his opponent.

As someone currently trying to get to Green ranks in Tekken 8 with Kazuya, this video was an amazing view on MENTALITY in Tekken 8. The game isfrustrating, it is HARD, especially on execution heavy characters, I actually stopped for 2 months because I was getting so frustrated in getting beat in orange ranks with a Kazuya. Recently got back in for the Clive update and have been focusing not on my wins, but my improvements. Everyday I try to at least improve 1 aspect of my game with Kazuya, my wavu wavu, my wavu wavu mixup, my spacing, my combo consistency (TRIPLE ELECTRICS ARE HAAAAAARD), applying masku techs etc etc. There are so many aspects of this game that are lost when playing 'S' tier characters, that you just get complacent. Anyways just wanted to say thanks TMM, hopefully I'll come close to your level within the next 5+ years of Tekken 8 (highly unlikely, but I will enjoy the journey getting there :D)

Literally the only time I've seen him commit to low-tier characters in a minor (ha) capacity was in Street Fighter 4. Since then, he's consistently been playing characters that are like top 10, top 3. He's good at making his characters look weak though, I'll give him that.

TMM philosophy on learning and excepting losing sometimes is spot on. When COD MW1 came out on PS3, I played that again a ton, and I lost a ton, but I didn't care because the game was fun. If you're not having fun playing the game, what's the point? Do what you enjoy, and challenge yourself, and if that challenge at hand is too daunting, either hard commit to improvement and find enjoyment in the uphill climb, or let it go and move on.

Your tip about learning something every day is so good. I started to learn one maybe two things after defeat, it has helped a lot! Then next time I face that character, I know at least one counter to their game plan.

It’s amazing watching him corpse attack and ki charge after winning a round. To absolutely turning into an ape raging and turning off the stream when it looks like he’s about to lose.
LTG's biggest problem is that he has an extreme entitlement complex, and a complete and total lack of introspection or accountability - regardless of the game he's playing.
He believes he's incapable of being at fault for anything, so he's unable to either accept critique or be self-critical; his ego simply won't allow it, so he'll hit a low ceiling and never be able to improve.

Their content loop comes from playing fighting games for long hours in suboptimal and lazy ways, making very little effort and losing, so they can complain and ban people who laugh at them in their chat. That's the content- getting angry and lashing out at people. That's how they farm their money, not by being good at the games. All the partly-informed talk about frame data and how older fighting games were more difficult is just to give the rants and yelling some fake authority beyond just emotions. It's a simple ass formula
As someone currently trying to get to Green ranks in Tekken 8 with Kazuya, this video was an amazing view on MENTALITY in Tekken 8. The game isfrustrating, it is HARD, especially on execution heavy characters, I actually stopped for 2 months because I was getting so frustrated in getting beat in orange ranks with a Kazuya. Recently got back in for the Clive update and have been focusing not on my wins, but my improvements. Everyday I try to at least improve 1 aspect of my game with Kazuya, my wavu wavu, my wavu wavu mixup, my spacing, my combo consistency (TRIPLE ELECTRICS ARE HAAAAAARD), applying masku techs etc etc. There are so many aspects of this game that are lost when playing 'S' tier characters, that you just get complacent.
Anyways just wanted to say thanks TMM, hopefully I'll come close to your level within the next 5+ years of Tekken 8 (highly unlikely, but I will enjoy the journey getting there :D)
