Honestly when Keisuke came out wave dashing I was thinking “this dudes a goofy goober he’s not taking it serious” and then hit JDCR with the MEANEST back to back to back in your face wave dashes. King shit.

If I remember correctly, he broke a 2,500-3,000 light, and won the MK1 tournament for 500. The CEO Tournament Organizer even tweeted about banning people from his events if they throw chairs again.

@@notdistro One of those lights does NOT cost thousands. They cost 50 to 100 bucks.
@@KarlKognition The tournament organiser posted how much it cost and it was above 2000$, luckily it didn't need a full replacing and just needed a repair that cost around 250-300$.

i mostly like to disagree with kazuya players but....pls buff df1, it is horrible.
I mean Keisuke also did combos off axis all the time, I dont think man should have believed his heart that much 😭
Df1 hitbox wasn't the issue... as a Kazuya main. He just chose a bad combo route. He could have easily done ws2 cd1+2 (12)43 b221+2 and gotten more damage, good wall carry and everything AND he himself knows that as well. Ws2 into wr1+2 isn't that good. I love Keisuke a lot but he's a showman at heart and you can't take these kinds of risk at the stage. How many failed PEWGF attempts when he could have done easy bnbs out of them?

seeing keisuke lose because he (presumably) auto piloted to an older combo that’s known to drop if you’re even slightly off axis hurts so much. He just like me fr :(
Was rooting for keisuke to win it specially as a kaz main. But we gotta be real here. The combo drop was his mistake alone. First it was off axis. In all honesty it was prob muscle memory, but he knows better and shouldve use other options. You gotta give props where its due and Atif showed up when he was starting to lose momentum. Keisuke didnt have that extra gear but he is still the best in my eyes
