this allows your morning adenosine to bind to the receptors and dissipate naturally rather than being blocked by the caffeine and making you crash later.
caffeine literally slows bloody flow to your brain by over 40%
That’s because if you wait 1-2 hours it allows adenosine (sleepily hormones in your brain) to wear off before adding a receptor blocker such as caffeine. If you drink coffee immediately to start your day it will block your brains receptors & your adenosine won’t get burned off & instead wait to attach to the receptors after the caffeine is worn off. Usually that’s why people who drink coffee first thing in the morning will crash by the afternoon time. The adenosine hormones are waiting for the coffee to wear off so they can attach & get burnt off.

I read a study that caffeine in the morning makes you more drowsy in the evening. So I have coffee at 1 or 3 in the afternoon when I feel sleepy. The study concluded that caffeine is more effective in the evening and wears off at 8 or 9 pm, during bedtime. I avoid coffee in the morning since.
Caffeine has a half life of 6 hours so it's in your blood stream for 12 hours, even though you're able to sleep the quality of the sleep is negatively effective

Maybe so, but I'd rather take powdered fruit or veggies over MANY, many other supplements.
I’ve started doing the same. I wait about 90 minutes after waking before I drink my coffee. I never have crashes anymore

I’ve started drinking my caffeine 2 hours exactly after I am fully awake, and man, it lasts me most of my day, doesn’t make me crash, and even helps with jitters
drinking coffee never helps with jitters. stimulants do not have that effect
I added coffee to my daily routine recently (1 to 2 cups). It has helped avoid the formation of new kidney stones. Excellent kidney function confirmed by a lab test at my local medical clinic. I'm not a coffee lover, but will continue to drink s minimal amount to deal w/ kidney stones. Had 1 kidney stone ultrasound procedure in 2013. No desire to repeat that ever again.

Eat an apple first thing in the morning after brushing. I hear it wakes you up more than coffee.

I appreciate the super beneficial advice. This is exactly what I was looking for. Heard that your supposed to get your day started without it, and only drink water then once your fully awake then drink the coffee. It’s good to let your brain wake up and get your blood flowing naturally.

Yeah we shouldn’t have coffee within the first two hours of waking up, it affects our natural energy from kicking in. I noticed when I go jogging after I wake up, I’m good. So having coffee a few hours later for work sipping on it through out the day is perfect. Not only that I like to drink at least two bottles or more of water after I wake up and after my jog before I hit the caffeine.

Great approach! Your adenosine comes down naturally instead of the caffeine artificially blockers our receptors. Through light exposure/hydration its enough to wake us up. I stopped caffeine altogether this month (for sober October) and feeling quite the positive effects eg. Sleeping right & strength maintained.
I still love a black cup of coffee and green tea, but will delay it like your approach next month 👊

There is nothing I haven't tried since my adolescence, such as accutane treatment, diets, etc. I am now 23 years old. I live in Turkey and we drink a lot of black tea and coffee in our culture. I stayed away from them for 1 month. I have no hair loss, acne on my jaw line, facial redness, dry skin. My hair itching is all gone. My face is cleaner than ever. And most importantly, I don't fall asleep during the day.

I only have 1 cup a day. I delay like he does in this video. It DOES make a difference. My cutoff for coffee is 10am. I have no problem sleeping @ night.

-Take a nap before you do cardio..focus on cardio more.
-Take Vitamin B12 cpmplex
-Limit anxiety
- (Big one) Invest in curtains, so when you wake up the sun wont shine in your room an wake you up..Wake up in the dark after fully slept then open go outside and get fresh light

A modern junky. Caffeine is a drug that benefits employers. They give you a 15 minute break to give you a quick caffeine hit to make you productive again for a few hours till you get your next coffee break.

This is the modern drug. Come off it cold turkey and the withdrawal effects will make you question what you're pouring into it.
I've stopped coffee, 5 strong cups a day to 2 cups of tea a day. A large reduction in caffeine consumption, but tea doesn't give you the crashes like coffee does. Sleeping way better, waking up more alive!
I can't even seem to tolerate green tea. I'm awake all night from a quarter cup of yunnan. I guess this will reserve it for special occasions only
