Glad we have some local manufacturers for when I swap my g56 4th gen.. might need some new piping parts for my 5.9 when it gets compounds from the big single. It will be back one day.
We can certainly do a setup like that! The best way to figure out availability would be give us a shout and our front desk will happily talk with you about a kit!
Hi, we are still working on the rollout of sales. This truck is our test mule so we're just confirming the last few pieces and then they will be live on our website. Thanks for your patience, we expect it to be ready for sales fairly soon!
Awesome work! Is this truck still running the 19+ hydraulic lifters or has it been solid lifter converted? I'm also assuming the exhaust brake functionality is lost since the VGT turbo was removed with a fixed vane unit?
So far this truck's motor hasn't been opened up, stock truck with a big snail on it haha And yes, no exhaust brake anymore, you could probably do a pac-brake addition if you wanted to downstream if you were still towing a lot with this setup. Cheers!

Hi, the 2nd gen swap leaves the 6.7 but changes the exhaust manifold to match the style of the 2nd gen exhaust manifolds. The later 6.7 trucks mount the turbo near the back of the engine around the 5/6 cylinders, meaning the 1234 cylinders all travel farther to bring air to the trubo. Swapping a 2nd gen style manifold centers the turbo between the 3/4 cylinder giving the turbo the best airflow setup possible with distances between all cylinders as short as possible. Hope this helps!
We now have a kit for the 22-24's without ECM swapping: www.dirtydieselcustom.ca/products/2022-2024-cummins-efi-autocal-amdp-tunes?_pos=10&_fid=56547441e&_ss=c Cheers
Part of s400 kit eliminates the need for the coolant riser by plugging the port in the head and re-routing the coolant from the heater core back into the thermostat housing
It'll retain a factory-style exhaust brake if you go with a VGT turbo, but if you go with a non-vgt you'd have to get an aftermarket unit built into the exhaust. Cheers
2nd Gen Ram Cummins trucks used a different exhaust manifold/turbo configuration where the turbo is equally spaced across all 6 exhaust ports rather than the contemporary design where the turbo is centered across the 4th and 5th exhaust ports. The 2nd Gen exhaust manifold configuration is commonly accepted as safer, more reliable, more responsive and simply a better design. Because of this, it is common for third through fifth generation trucks to seek a 2nd Gen style exhaust/turbo setup when seeking to upgrade their vehicle.
Love the video and work yal put in!! 5th gen definitely needed a legit 2nd swap like this one 👌🏾💯
Kinda sad there was zero follow up to such a fantastic hype video😢

What are the benefits swapping to a 2nd gen? Isn’t the 6.7 stout enegine?

@@dirtydieselcustom thank you for the reply and information, that makes sense more sense.lol
Are the 2022+ Rams nearing not requiring an ECM to tune?
They are still required for tuning at the moment.
