- the entire history of minecraft youtubers
hopefully you enjoyed, me and my editor put a ton of work into this video and I think it turned out pretty well. Thanks to all the creators who were down for an interview too! @SGCBarbierian @GEVids @nico-mc @aCookieGod @ryguyrocky @AyoDen - Ігри
hope you guys enjoy the video, big thanks to the creators who helped out!

yeah i enjoyed it
Nico’s opinion had me tweaking.
Was good
I love how the stampy lore video is longer than the video about the full history of Minecraft UA-camrs in general
Parents: “we have no favourites.”
Also parents:
This is such a great video! Crazy to see how early gameplay videos evolved into MC content today (shorts, 100 days, SMPs, etc.). Can't wait to see what MC UA-cam becomes in the future. Here before this blows up :D
OMG!!!!
thank you
Great vid dawg! I was only shocked to see no mention of EthosLab. Literally every big minecraft creator still goes total fangirl mode when seeing him.
*Ethogirl mode
As others have mentioned, this video's pretty well made. However, it's not perfect, so I'd like to give some criticism:
1. Mentioning the Dream SMP before Machinima makes it seem like it came in the same era, which is very much not the case.
2. The PVP scene did not start off in 2020. Sure, it got more popular then, but it's existed almost as long as the game itself has, and has been one of the game's big strengths throughout its history.
3. No mention of EthosLab, best known for his ongoing Minecraft Let's Play that started in 2010, despite so many people foaming at the mouth over him
4. No mention of Technoblade despite his many big achievements and literally being in the thumbnail. I don't know about you, but I don't really like clickbaiting my viewers, and now some of your views are probably from people who saw Techno and only clicked for him. That just makes it seem like you're trying to milk Techno's image for views, which is even worse for choosing him because he's been dead for almost a year and a half now.
Note that this isn't an attempt to make you feel bad about yourself, or be a mindless hate comment. Instead, I hope this comment helps you improve in the future.
or the man that created the 100 Days trend. Forge Labs. I know Luke TheNotable started it, but Forge Labs made it popular.
and honestly they skipped over things like hermitcraft, its not as big as dream smo, or life steal, etc dream smp wasn't the only smp that was big.
edit: watched more of the video, hc was mentioned. so ignore that.
Edit: more happened, oops, oh well still glad to see these in here.
I don’t really think that’s clickbait
This video is very well done and I really enjoyed it! That being said, not mentioning SMPLive is crazy, as it was a huge part of the game's resurgence
The Little Club era was my Childhood like you should do a video of them. Little Lizard and Tiny Turtle were awesome
Only a small mention of Hermitcraft and nothing about Ethoslab?
How have you made a video about the entire history of minecraft youtubers without talking about the most influential one?
Fr
man this takes me back to when I was 13 years old and youtube was my life
ur editing style reminds me of visual venture’s, and i love it
keep it up, you deserve way more subs
I know this is only 5 hours old, but this needsm more likes & views. This is better than most videos from bigger creators!
The era of Minecraft UA-camrs like Stampy and DanTDM and a few others are the best not just because of nostalgia and genuine love because they always just feel like genuinely decent people personally I'm curious to see what next year and all the years after have store for the Minecraft community
Edit: as much as I love the 2014 and earlier modding scene for bringing in so many classic mods and so many great mod showcase videos from UA-camrs like DanTDM and PopularMMOs and others I honestly have to say for the most part that does not hold a candle to Modern mods like create and many others
I agree
Mod reviews and minecraft story series' are one of my favorite subgenre of minecraft videos.
Insane effort. Very well done!
as a new minecraft youtuber i found this video interesting
definitely subbing
It's like a fresh breath of air to not have to read the same repeatable title "the entire history of Minecraft UA-camrs, I guess"
Omg dude the editing is top notch i cant belive you only have 4k views
8 minutes in and lil bro hasn’t said the name Etho yet, I’m getting worried
I was surprised that he wasn't mentioned, Hermitcraft was only brought up for like a second, Mindcrack didn't get mentioned at all and Grian life series was also just never brought up
@@ObliviousMe3 Maybe its too much to cover like he said early in the video. But I thought Forge labs would get at least a mention for making 100 Days popular.
TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!!!!!
The jungle sapling is taking a while I'm gonna binge watch these till it's done
The old Minecraft community is better than the one we have now imo
4:10 man dan was the, and i mean THE god of my childhood along with stampy and popularMMOs or pat and jen. I also remember the other youtubers like littlekelly doing roleplay stuff
Very, very cool vid!!
Holy there no way this only has 1,000 views, I was expecting near millions but only a thousand is insane, the video itself was amazing and mostly unique
I think it’ll get there eventually
Man. My favorite UA-camrs to watch around that time were of course Stampy & DanTDM. Those two creators inspired me to actually play Minecraft. I made my first world around April of 2014. But I played the game even earlier back in late 2013. I was very young like 4 to 5 years old. I wasn't a OG Minecraft player but I still experienced Minecraft change as a whole. I started playing Minecraft back in 1.6. I played pocket edition but I played the Xbox 360° version beforehand. Than I played the Xbox 1 edition. But it stopped updating after 1.12 so I changed to the modern Bedrock edition & than about a year later I started playing Java. I'm used to playing Bedrock edition but I've gotten used to Java. There's things I like & dislike about the 2 versions. They're great in their own right compared to some other versions of the game but Minecraft is fun. The nostalgia looking back and over 10 years ago makes me want to cry.
Do a history of popularmmos with an explanation of the s8 and crafting dead s2 connectivity
ngl peak Minecraft Videos were in The Stampy Era, dream was just too boring
Give the Scenario SMP a try. Its with Forge Labs, ShadowMech, Kiply, and a few others.
You got new subscriber
Nice vid
This will blow up, actually you knew that already.
As a non new player and someone who's played since middle school, (I'm 25) I have to agree with a majority of this video, but I do think a VERYYY important aspect of Minecraft was missing. I think Hermitcraft could have had a very brief mention at least as a bunch of popular old Minecraft youtubers started it in it's first two seasons. It was at one point, and maybe is (again) the most popular SMP.
this is so underrated!
Can you please upload a video on the history of Bahri or Wisp?
I didn’t know the creators of the transformers prime wars trilogy had their own site for people upload Minecraft content onto? It’s surprising that I’m only just hearing about this now.
This is an amazing video
new sub great video
I love that l8games (my favorite minecraft UA-cams) where in the video
You should try and talk about the history of the odditsrolplay
good video, keep it up
This is about to skyrocket.
I miss the yellow Knight minecraft youtuber
I love your vids
I never really found a liking towards UA-camrs like stampedes lovely world, and PrestonPlayz, and any of the popular UA-camrs. I was more into TapL, Wisp, and Bahri. TheMisterEpic and Skip the Tutorial are the only ones that I know that upload regularly.
Damn, nice video
you forgot the fact the philza is basically minecrafts jeasus he died to that baby zombie so the game could live 💀
Not going to lie I am absolutely stunned that there was no mention of Forge Labs or ShadowMech. They have some of the best cinematic and storytelling videos on the platform. ShadowMech also makes some of the coolest mods for his videos. I know Luke TheNotable started the 100 Days idea, but Forge Labs made it widely popular and started the craze. Forge Labs also started a Scenario SMP with a group of content creators where ShadowMech is also involved in. Its a weekly based SMP where the theme changes per video and its some of the best content to watch. These guys innovate and I'm stoked to see where they go from here. Maybe you didn't mention them because they don't steer their content for a younger audience. They are family friendly but adults enjoy their content too.
Do you need grafic designer or montage for free?
youre gonna be huge
thanks g
Great Video
A true mincemeat moment
Very well done
yo why are the hermits just a foot note
It like it free well maybe not that free.
Just on some occasion you can play or not which is not fair.
Underrated
Wait. Basherverse passed away? I had to find out like this huh..
I am a dwarf and I’m digging a hole
I mean, there’s even a parity of the Power Rangers Dino charge theme song using Redstone and note blocks. I don’t know how they do it.
Christ I haven’t heated ryguyrockys voice in years
Won’t let me edit and I sent it to fast I hope I can one day become a great Minecraft UA-camr
If This Doesnt Blow Up Just Know I Owe U $20
Here before this blows up 🔥🔥🔥
Me too!
W video
I really hope aphmau is mentioned she made some of the best Minecraft rps the story’s where insanely high production value and quality. Aphmaus story’s it walked so DSMP could run.
Just fyi aphmau wasn’t allways so clickbait kids content. She used to make really good rps. She ditched her old audience for the kids during covid. Rip blue jay studios
i miss popularmmos he was my childhood hero
same man.
The only reason why i clicked onto this video was because i saw popularmmos in the title
Very true
Technoblade never dies
...and then you had the click bait liars.
Those guys totally don't make me want to burn down a specific unnamed person's home.
Minecraft PvP started to develop in 2014…
More like 2012. That’s when Factions/MCMMO/“Survival Games” started getting popular
no mention of the creator of 100 Days? Luke The Notable, he played a huge role in evolving the style of Minecraft content I'm sorry to say this but you didn't give very good history of the 100 Days era tbh
Foot!!!!
I feel like farting
Dude you really didn't even mention technoblade 😂
why didnt u mention techno? the video is pretty wellmade but u missed major points.
you forgot about technoblade
8:36 i dont think thats a real number lol
Hi!
I grew up watching the Yogscast.. their content has changed unfortunately and so have I. I drifted from their channel as it became less focused on Minecraft.
Hi
Rip techno. He was my childhood.
27 minutes
What about you?
E
I hate notnico now he abandoned his bedwars channel with 1m+ to make trash kids content that isn’t even good for kids
Im the 363 person to like
no
fart
nope
3RD
If the first comment is first i will die
it was "E"
Nothing fills me with more happiness than the fact that dsmp got like 40 seconds and the golden age was 3/4 of the video
how its gotta be 😅
@@Lando-MC it’s a good thing!
Ay could I talk to you on discord ?
