- Stampy’s Lovely World series is one of the most iconic and beloved in the history of Minecraft content, and most of us who grew up watching it may recall that Stampy had many helpers who assisted him in making the videos. But what if I told you that some of Stampy's helpers became disgraceful criminals? Today, we’re discovering why Stampy's assistants have vanished from the internet and, more importantly, finding out where they are today.

It was also Stampy's idea to get rid of every character that could be traced back to a real person and not an actor. That is why he had people like William Beaver and Polly Raindeer, because a beaver and raindeer would never do something like that.

Yep! And also stampys friends play the characters behind the scenes and we dont know whos stampys friends are in real life. The only 1 we know is his partner but they are married so it would be a 0% chance of them doing something bad
William beaver was once played by MrNightfoxx, as in a mini game where death was involved, you can see the Stampy was killed by him
Oh yeah, there’s also not one specific person playing these characters.
The way he handled the L for Lee situation was one of the most responsible things he and squaishy couldve done It showed how much they truly cared for their audience.

I'm very sad because Lee was one of my favorite and I remember when the news first came out I kept denying it pray that it isn't truth until Squaishy confirmed it.

Personally, I think Stampy’s Lovely World was at its best when Stampy’s helpers were actual people. The videos after they all left were still enjoyable, but something just felt like it was missing.
I kinda agree although they were always actors, Stampy’s been very open about how scripted everything is, and how people act in that series is nothing like how they act in real life.
@@kangaroomonkey4180Even if most of the stuff was scripted, I still think there was a feeling of intimacy when we knew Stampy’s helpers were actual people. No disrespect to William, Polly, and Fizzy, but I never really connected with them the same way I did with Squid and Longbow.

It probably wouldn’t have made a difference if Stampy’s helpers were just characters from the beginning, or if I started watching the series after his old helpers were gone, but the fact is I got into the series when Stampy’s helpers were his real-life friends, so I guess nostalgia affects my opinions.

The stigma exists because Minecraft is mostly a children dominated game so your around children a lot and that's not even including Minecraft being the most popular video game of all time so your gonna get bad people

This wasn't a nobody, he was extremely popular in the Minecraft scene
Maybe the reason why he made his helpers as only characters of the lovely world and not his real friends is to avoid anymore drama after the lion maker and l for lee situation. And the people he trusted, like squid and sqaishy, had their own stuff to do. So making consistent helpers and villains was a very smart choice for a roleplay style lets play
im happy that they waited until we grew up to tell us so we could still enjoy what was precious to us and not have it ruined

Although there were some not so great people that came from the Lovely World, it still was such a wonderful thing. And if weren’t for the LW series, Stamps and Squashy may not have ever met. So despite the ups and downs, a loving and stable marriage came from it, and I think that’s the best silver lining any cloud can have. Great work on this video.

the story of squaishy and stampy is so wholesome. one of his first subscribers, into making a map for him, into becoming a regular helper/collaborator, and then, getting married. it's so sweet, and i adore it
Honestly, I think this goes to show how responsible and mature Stampy is, while also managing to keep that jolly and silly tone in his videos. I think that’s why I find him so beloved. His personality really does shine unlike any other Minecraft CC. Unlike the content farmers, he has an iconic personality and iconic content that never really did fall off.
While his Lovely Minecraft World was and still is iconic, I don’t think I'll ever forget his Terraria playthrough. That, alone, always had me hooked whenever I watched it.
Never once did I even think that Squaishey had a real name, lmao. I don't know why I never considered that Squaishey wouldn't be legally called Squaishey. Like I knew everyone else had "normal" names but consider my mind blown hearing about Kye!

One thing I find rather lovely about this is that all the lovely helpers (bar the two who shall not be named) ended up nicely as the shots from their recent posts on social media show them with families or just having lives after UA-cam and even a few stayed and made followings of their own which kind of shows how much time has pasted and how stampy has been such a long time influence on peoples lives as the people he played with at the start have all since changed some are no longer friends with him some are and just it kind of just shows that life goes on idk it feels so wholesome compared to how some other series or groups end and even those who are no longer friends with him ended nicely and no drama (bar the two who shall not be named)
I'm still so happy that specifically Squid is doing really well, considering him and Stampy have always been seen as a duo. It sucks that they don't do much together anymore but it's so nice to see that they're both really happy.

Good thing back when I first watched Minecraft UA-cam videos back in 2014, I never watched the Lovely World. Instead, I was mainly into PopularMMOs TNT and Mod Showcase videos, Orepros, ExplodingTNT, and DanTDM.

I miss the old helpers, every single one of them even if they appeared in a hundred or 2 episodes. They felt more real, more human than William Beaver or Fizzy Elephant who you could tell were paid actors. Theres always something about the in game names that stuck, "L for Lee", "BreadStix", "Liamardo39", you just know there's a actual person behind that mask. But i understand why he phased the actual helpers out, you ultimately cant control people but you can control characters

Hit The Target was a helper super early on, presumably a real person. What happened to him?
From the stamplongnose wiki, “Hit the Target was originally a real person, but at some point that person stopped playing Minecraft and "Hit the Target" became a character used as the main antagonist of the Stampy's Lovely World series. This article mainly talks about the character.”
Knowing Sqaishey had to substitute for lee at times, the same would be assumed for Hit the Target, So either Sqaishey played hit the target in episodes, or one of the other helpers did.
@@H-nt yes that's more than likely the case. In fact a few years ago he accidentally uploaded an uncut video which showed that Squashy is probably at least one of the characters in most episodes.

I believe he stopped playing minecraft and quit the series but allowed Stampy to continue using the character. HTT rarely had a voice role and if he did, it was either played by a bot, Stampy, or Squaishy herself. That being said, it's likely HHT was played by a bot after a while since HTT did not have any voice lines everything he did was conveyed by his actions, not words.

I grew up watching Stampy, so while this was a welcome blast from the past, I was genuinely sad by the end. It felt like watching your heroes reveal that they were actually terrible people, and tricked you into feeling otherwise. I know that's really not what happened ( Stampy is a king for putting up with this btw ) but it still really hurt
now knowing Lionmaker is Belgian (I am Belgian too) I feel deeply disgusted by him. I saw him join and leave the series, but always found him the weirdest helper ever, feeling that through a screen on my ps vita, is just fracked up.

The most common reason here in Belgium is that Belgian girls do tend to lie about their age because of their looks. In Belgium you have girls saying they're 16 because they look like it, while in reality they're just 12 or 13 year olds. I myself had a girlfriend that said she was 16, while in reality she was 14. Lionmaker was an adult when that event happened. Lee was ~16 years old. He still did an awful and heinous act, but I feel like we should cut him some slack in terms of harshness. I hope that he realizes that he hurt a lot of people and caused so much pain but I also hope he is doing better. I hope that everyone who has been hurt by him is also doing better. Mistakes are a lot easier to make when you’re that young.

As a child when I first started playing Minecraft when it came to the 360 back in 2012 I grew up on channels like Stampy, DanTDM, and PopularMMOs it hurts my badly to see stuff like this happen seeing some of my favorite characters growing up like Lee turn out to be this disgusting it hurts my heart but I'm glad I had a somewhat good childhood because of channels like Stampy helping me cope with certain bad events that happened in my life

When I got to the episode that he left I was really sad and because I was so young, I didn’t understand that he left because of IRL issues and I always believed that he would show up to save the day at some point.

i used to watch stampy around 2014 or so at a point where i didnt even understood english because im german and started learning english i think in 2017 or 2018 in school but he still is so good in my brain that i will always remember him and i heard about that with lee but didnt know what truly happend and i didnt know that he had so many helpers because i didnt watch many episods of his lovely world but i might watch it
Knowing what Lee did is even worse now that I know he did that shit not only the same country l’m in, but the same fucking region of the country l live in, pretty terrifying.

He didn't just do what he did, he at no point showed remorse or self improvement but instead lied repeatedly to the detriment of the victims, stampy etc. He was and is a shitty person and deserves no sympathy whatsoever

Lionmaker actually invited me to play with him in a hunger games match. My cousin was there at the time and I got a random invite to join, soo I did. I absolutely demolished all of them and knowing what’s happened since makes it that much better.
