No messing. Straight into playing.
The beauty of these minis is their AP preamp. plugged in, they sound like any good full sized acoustics.
kinda misses the point because they aren't plugged in.

I bought an EMBW-6 during COVID lockdown, but I'm not that impressed by it - sounds boxy. Definitely sounds better with fingerpicking than strumming, perhaps I should have got the spruce top model

The AP5 Pro is a great pickup, no complaints there - sounds every bit as good as a full size when plugged in. It's just that age-old mini guitar less-than-full sound but that's the trade with compact size.
@@joebloggs6351 well matons are working man guitars made for the stage. I have a blackwood 808c and it sounds so much much better than my martin. But unplugged the martin sound bigger and better
You are right.... they are as boxy as martin's LX1.... a better league in terms of sound is Martin DJr and Taylor GS mini. Maton is even pricier than DJr and GS mini so nah..... ill pass.
I have an 808 blackwood, I’m realising very fast that the Blackwood across the range seems to have a huge amount of compression compared to other timber tops. Makes for too much brightness and not enough volume when strumming hard.

No. Quelle assicurano il pickup al ponte e non vanno toccate assolutamente.
This does not do it justice because you didn't plug it in. Close condenser mic-ed acoustic is not the way they designed it. Maton designed it to be played live and plugged in to make use of the pre-amp
