@ 5:30..Its actually an AP5 pickup system not an APS.
The under saddle piezo pickup is unlike any others. It has 6 individual pole pieces for each strings. Just like the strat pickup. Hence the warning not to adjust the 2 screws. My thanks to my friend Tele for the info and correction!

Big sound for a small body. The neck looks a bit wider than standard, I prefer that on an acoustic guitar. Has a distinct country sound. Thanks for the demo, I’d never heard of this make until now.

Maton’s are Australian acoustics, their top tier ones are every bit as good as an expensive Martin or Taylor. Tommy Emmanual plays them.......as does Keith Urban and Neil Finn amongst others. Mostly played by Australians and New Zealanders. I think they are sold in the UK now.

It costs a lot of money because of Trump and the Tariffs. Unfortunately, companies like Maton are suffering because they rely heavily on the US market. Sadly, foreign consumers have to pay the price.
