Arno Deboosere played a Messiah 100 on Let It Be, a Beatles song. Totally different, I think a tighter string tuning, but it sounds sooo different. Find it. Beautiful. I believe much of it is in the construction of the finger flesh and bone.
Justin, I am so amazed at your talent and knowledge of guitars. When you play, it's much more than just music and you play with such ease! God bless you.
@@japlunkett6789 playing the same thing over & over, well way things are these days probally a copyright issue. Followed him for years he's a big Delta blues guy
I spent almost 5 years in Australia in the 70s and played many Matons. FANTASTIC INSTRUMENTS! And they’ve just got better and better. One of the best kept secrets among American guitar players.
Super video. Have been playing more than 50 years, and until I heard Tommy Emmanuel play, I had never heard of this guitar brand before? I wondered to myself..." why isn't Tommy playing a gibson, guild, Martin or taylor? Well, now I see why lol. And for the record, Justin is a masterful player!
Discovered a Maton EBG808TEC Tommy Emmanuel guitar a month or so ago (of which I hadn't heard of before). Was truly impressed with the guitar. Well worth checking out.
I am surprised the AP5 pickup system was not mentioned. I have a much more expensive Taylor which I love but will always grab my Maton if I am plugging in. I have the older AP4 pickup system and it is fantastic.
Absolutely love my Maton in Burgundy colour with a cutaway. Bought it 22 yrs ago for AU$2.5k brand new and it’s only just starting to show a couple of those awesome aged relic cracks in the paint. The tone of that wood is just so beautiful now. Never to be sold only inherited ❤
So good to see you again! What a gorgeous guitar! Love that Mini Maton. That would be perfect for me! Sharing this video opened a whole new world for me. Thank you! You are so blessed with talent!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤
I’m writing this here but as a french man who has traveled a lot, I just love this easy-going cool way of meeting new people and interacting with others that US americans have.
I have a Maton S70 dread, & a SRS808c. Both are beautiful instruments to play & have a lovely tone. Play them every day, & they just better & better. Wish I could make them sound like you do, but hey, we’re all different. Loved the review man, & as always, your playing. Cheers. TimC from Brisbane Australia.
This is a GREAT video. These guitars are a bit hard to find so showing the sound of each acoustic really is informative and helpful. Great stuff and love these guitars and your playing and work 👏
I'm what could be at best called a journeyman player and accidentally picked up a Maton EM225C in a guitar shop. I now have a guitar that significantly outshines my ability to play it but every time I pick it up it makes me happy
Oh the tone on that messiah! I don't even play, yet. I have about a year and my AC1M came yesterday, my first. I will play before I die and I will play a song for a hero who died of this rare disease I have, Aretha Franklin. Watch me❤.
Well you just made a lot of Australians very proud , so good to see you playing Maton guitars. They get better yet since you can also get them custom made to your specs, I bet they would love to build one for you Justin 👍
I love my Maton. made down the road from me in Melbourne Australia.
The Messiah model is such a handsome beast. And its voice is superlative.
Stop talking about an instrument like that you weirdo

The guitar Justin said "It's mine now" was the small traveller though.
You have been so blessed Justin with amazing talent..
...and big long fingers
No he worked hard for it!
@@Subholik3 talent + hard work = Justin
Works his ass off but yeah he has innate talent for sure.
What kind of “talent”? I think he practiced some .!
In the hands of a master, aka Justin, these guitars sound even more phenomenal.
He's knows what he's doing but nothing new here, thousands like him out there,
it's just that he needs the youtube attention and us don't really.
@@stevedamien638 hey shut up w your negative ass
@@stevedamien638 Using your reasoning, Tommy Emmanuel and many other great popular guitarists also need attention.
Justin, I am so amazed at your talent and knowledge of guitars. When you play, it's much more than just music and you play with such ease! God bless you.
What is it then?
For real, dude played the same thing every time….. BORING!
@@japlunkett6789 yes I thought that too and time he went off the e minor pentatonic, amazing fingerstyle.player.though, awesome technique
If there is a God, and It's into casting blessings on people, I do believe Justin already got his 😉😉

What is Maton series the best one for you?
Justin keeps getting better at playing every time I watch him year after year. He is putting in the hours on the strings. And it shows
Whoever did the woodwork in that showroom is definitely a master of his craft,it’s beautiful.
love to see you and Tommy playing together .
I could listen to that for hours.
Those are some beautiful guitars.
I can listen to you play forever! I love everything you do! ❤️
Nicely done JJ! Maton makes great guitars and that's exactly why TE plays one! 👍👍🎸🎸
Sheeew Weeee.... That tone the Messiah has is something now!! May have to make the 100mile trip from KY to the music city and check one out myself!!
Justin, I really appreciate that you played very similar riffs on all the instruments so we could really hear all the tonal palates of each guitar.
Justin Johnson & Tommy Emmanuel. Both fantastic guitar players. Would love to see them jam together.
I’ve seen TE live and if this guy performs anything like TE, this would be a GREAT show!!
It wouldn’t surprise me to see it sooner or later. TE seems keen to jam with anyone.
The tone on that Diamond Edition has my vote. Beauty. 🎼
Same here. Tone was perfect for his style and taste in music.
Same here, the Diamond has a throaty richness without sacrificing bright tones
🎶👁👃👁🎵
Wow the Messiah definitely lives up to its name. Sounds great and will only get better with age
Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides combined with any good quality top is always going to give a richness that cannot be surpassed.
Great Australian Company! Let's make Australia the best Guitar manufacturing centre of the world! We have the wood, we have the talent!
but you don't have the brains to realize what your government has done to their slaves
No
India is the 95% supplier of instrument grade rose wood.
Yep, best in the world!
No harm in giving it a go mate! So it's a dare!
I don’t play an instrument, my biggest regret . Still I watch this with so much love for your love and skill. Thank you for playing for us
Even on my phone the Messiah sounds amazing.
I liked the Mini the best. Very spunky!
Messiah is beautiful, perfect sound
The Messiah has a heavenly sound, but all these guitars sound good in the hands which even make a cigar box or a shovel sound great.
I didn't learn about Maton guitars until I met Tommy Emmanuel 👍🇺🇸
And now, I don't miss any of Justin's vids.....👍
Blessings and thanks from Toronto brother. Excellent work.
Nice to see Tommy Emmanuel has found work as a service assistant in a guitar shop in Nashville :) 0:32
yea bro helps me pay the bills and i still get to play guitar, bonus..😅🤣😂
Damn, Even on my crappy headphones at work these guitars sound amazing.

Justin Johnson and Maton guitars ... it was destined to happen ... Synergism defined ...
I played Maton guitars, mainly 12 string Messiah, throughout the history of The Seekers.

Cool I only became aware of Maton Australian guitars from Justin Sandercoe
And then later on Tommy Emmanuel
Justin seems to have a really nice personality along with great guitar skills. Wow!

Bery wonder full guitar I love it
That SRS sounds great
Justin can make a broom handle with a string sound good.
I am sure he has a video doing that
I am the opposite, I can make the best guitar sound like shit. It’s a talent in itself.
Your comment puts things in perspective
Caramba...o Blues é minha paixão! 😍 E ouvir você tocar... não tem preço...!!!👏👏👏😍😍😍🌹🌹🌹
Those care some cool sounding guitars.
Met Steve at the CAAS convention last year, phenomenal guy, he was actually the guitar tech for Kiss, so the dude knows what the heck he’s doing.
Very nice. Good player and and the guitars sound great, even through my phone.
Fretboard on the Tommy Emmanuel guitar is gorgeous, I got a mini maton 12-string myself and love it. So much louder than size would imply!
Sensacional....👏😎

The kind of instruments that makes you play from dawn to dusk.
