This is a very nice video.this stitch is simple and very well done in the video, the music is fine, sometimes no words needed when the video excellently shows how to do stitch.
    Thank you

Very nice tutorial, ty/. This reminds me of my fave stitch for fabric, hdc and sc alternating, at least iirc.

I love this! How much yarn did you need?

If you make a 3x4 throw I figured about 4 skeins or a little over 1000 yds. Have fun!

Wow, I had such high hopes for this video. I wanted to learn this stitch and was so hopeful. The music was too loud...no problem, I turned the volume down. I was worried I would miss your verbal directions when they started. You can imagine how surprised I was when there were no verbal instructions. Sad, as this video was recommended on a beginner's crochet page, but I will have to search for others. I need the verbal instructions, even if the video is not perfect, it will be much easier for me to learn.

She had the instructions written as well as showing. For free, I might add. It’s pretty evident how it is done. You can’t get much simpler than a single and a chain. Somebody always has some reason to complain.
