    It is a really simple stitch and I love how it looks. I’m starting an Afghan for a baby and am enjoying it very much. I’m so glad I “happened” upon this video!! Thank you for sharing!

    Thanks for the pattern and the video showing how to do the stitch. I mostly do granny squares. I needed a baby blanket and I wanted to do something that didn't involve sewing squares together. I found you on Etsy and tried this stitch. It's an easy stitch and the blanket is looking good. It's about one fourth finished in the photo. The baby's not due until September, so I have plenty of time. Of course I'm at home a lot because of the covid-19 crisis, so I have plenty of time to crochet.

    Thank you for going through the process of showing how to make those neat looking stitches for the color change as that's something I often struggle with. Fantastic stitch. Can't wait to try it!

    I just recently returned to crocheting and your tutorial is fantastic! Love the way you weave in the tails, I had forgotten how to change colors in a pattern and what to do with the tails had me almost put it down again as nothing I tried looked nice (lol). I am a "watch it being done" or an "on looker" learner more so over readin instructions so thank you so much for this! Look forward to watching your other videos!!

    Can you make this stich with HDC or DC and shall I just chain one or shall chain more i m m between?

    • @PatternPrincess
      @PatternPrincess  8 місяців тому

      Hi. You can use the HDC or DC but you will end up with a taller stitch and a looser stitch. I would still do the CH 1, SK 1, between your stitches. And your beginning stitches for each row will vary based on your stitch used.

      Hi
      This might help you decide. Depending on if you want it to fit a bed or just use to snuggle up with. Maybe 48x48 inches patternprincess.com/crochet-guidelines-for-standard-bed-and-blanket-sizes/

    1:50 im confused some say starteith even stitch others say odd number

    • @PatternPrincess
      @PatternPrincess  25 днів тому

      It all depends on how many stitches from the hook the designer starts with.

  • @vickieperez2755
    @vickieperez2755 Рік тому

    I’m sort of confused, isn’t this the moss stitch? It certainly looks the same,

    • @PatternPrincess
      @PatternPrincess  Рік тому +1

      They are different names for the same stitch. In the blog post on the pattern I mention that the linen stitch, moss stitch, and granite stitch are all the same.

      If you click on the gear icon in the lower part of the video screen. You can adjust the playback speed. the lower the number, the slower it will play. Hope that helps.
