    Tim, I’ve been all over You Tube seeking the secret sauce for my issues with anxiety. Just tonight I hit in your Ted Talk and was blown away. You have such a wonderful approach and are able to paint a clear and cogent picture enabling the viewer to start getting a handle on dealing with the issue. I’ve subscribed to your channel and plan to reach to you for consultation. You are no doubt an answer to prayer. Thank you so much.

    I just saw your tedx talk too and went straight to subscribe to your channel 🙌❤ this is only the second video I've watched so far and I am already so grateful for what you are teaching!! I did this exercise and immediately felt my arm dropping and feel so much better !! I am recovering from severe CFS and so many normal things pose a threat/make me fearful and anxious but I think it's the fear and anxiety that makes my symptoms even worse-defo will be using this tool to help , thanks so much 🧘‍♀️🙌

      Hi Megan. Glad this one was useful.
      With regard to the fatigue, any perceived threat will fire up our stress response (fight or flight), and this can easily leave us exhausted.
      It’s a bit of a vicious cycle, in that we start to feel vulnerable because of the fatigue and then it’s the physical response to the fatigue that tired us.
      Be kind to yourself, get the rest you need and remind yourself that you will cope with whatever life throws at you. :)

      @@TimBoxMindCoach thanks so much for this amazing advice tim!! Its so tricky as I think I perceive almost everything as a threat! I've started doing some NLP work and its helpful-do you do hypnotherapy or coaching with people with me/cfs?

    Pls help me. I can not breath properly. I dont know what to do.

    • @TimBoxMindCoach
      @TimBoxMindCoach  28 днів тому

      It can help to remind yourself that it doesn't matter how anxious or panicked you become you will ALWAYS be able to breathe. Nobody ever died from running out of breath in a panic or anxiety state.
      When we take our focus away from TRYING to breathe we allow our body to do it naturally. Hope this thought helps.

      It's often about finding what works for us as an individual.
      Even with techniques like the on in this video we will still get more long term benefit from addressing the thinking behind our anxiety response rather than relying purely on counter measures in the face of it.

      Sorry to hear this Gary. Always be sure to note that these sensations always pass. Remember the story of any panic episode always ends with you returning to a calm and normal state, completely unharmed. You've got this.
