Very nice indeed. 🤔 I've got a pair of HCs & wouldn't you know it, had the SC on one replaced twice for noisy bearings. 😐 Seems like FCA finally ironed out that problem. However, even though I'm not big into the racing stuff, I like power & things that look cool. Your engine bay screams power & coolness! 👍 Down the road, I'd definitely consider a Whipple SC! Thx!
ear porn!!!!!!!! , i own a 2020 hellcat challenger and i put a legmaker cold air on it and whine is sick , hell i don't even turn the radio on no damn more !!!
..."not be in 12th gear"...😄 Hahaha! I totally "get" that! Although base running mode is great for gas mileage & quietness, the price you pay is early up shifts. My custom modes in both HCs have transmission set to "track" as well! 😉 Seems to me that trans in "track" is also linked to the exhaust pipe valves & they open sooner & wider as I'm driving. 😃
How does the adjustment impact auxiliary modes such as Eco and valet? Is there a significant difference in custom vs track now or do you only have the one hp setting with the new blower? Thanks and can't wait to see how it runs, saw a challenger hit 9.70 with the blower.
harris66james in all honesty I drive exclusively with the red key but do plan on dialing in a two key setup on the big boost pulley. This will allow me to drive around with a 24 psi pulley but the car wont make above 18 psi when im using the black key.
There is a video on UA-cam that a Procharger damaged a 392 SRT; any worries that a 4.5 L Whipple might damage a Hellcat engine? Also, have you noticed the car being more powerful as compared to the original supercharger?
Id say the temps are similar at similar boost levels as the factory blower, the Whipple wont start to separate itself until you go above 24 psi from what we are seeing. Ill have more results later this week as we will be running the car at the High Horse Performance Modern Street HEMI Shootout June 22-23 at MIR.
I'm just learning about this so sorry if I don't have it right but the hellcat comes with a roots which is good but creates alot of heat when you turn it up. when you turn up the Whipple the air is cooler at the same boost by design am I correct
The whipple does well heat wise but once you start getting into its higher boost range it gets hot like any other from what I can tell. Kenne Bell is way hotter of course but thats always been the case.
Shannon Hartley you'll need to upgrade to bigger injectors and address your fuel system to some degree. I recommend getting with High Horse Performance or Hemituner Performance to get you on the right path.
tough call, you'd need to look at the fuel system for sure so that will cost you some coin. Reach out to any of the vendors on hemirace.com to get a full quote
I put a built bottom end in the car. The tuning for the whipple has come a long way since I first put this kit in the car, you will have a much better result now.
Ive seen stock blower Hellcats and Demons make 8-900whp+ I would expect a supercharger thats about twice the size to make more then +100whp on average.
I really like the white blower! We have the regular black one on the hellcat Challenger on my channel!
Couldn’t give us one pull? J/k. Sounds and drives great. Keeping that in mind for later on.
The fact you don’t have to get on it to hear that whine 😁😁

You didn’t hit the gas dude
Nice ride bro. I'm definitely going to build my Scatpack.
Sounds great
Steven Russo thanks!
nice car and nice build! i want to hear that whipple whine @5krpm and higher:)
Looking forward to more videos
Just put a new one up

Absolutely
I have a 2017 Hellcat Challenger with the 4.5L Whipple and I had a question: What made you go with a 180mm TB?
Its bigger lol
How do y’all get the 4.5l whipper?

I like how he didnt talk until 2 minutes
Nice
Can you do a highway drive going around 70 or 80ish? Just a regular highway drive. I love the sound of these when just cruising.
Kenne bell? How's 4.5 been so far? Trying to do a big supercharger myself here soon. Just a built 6.2 or?
I’ve seen a similar 4.5l whipple setup touch 1200whp... what engine management system are you running?
Oem
Modern Street HEMI Shootout MSHS damn, props to your tuner. Hypothetically, Couldn’t you pull more boost out of an aftermarket system?
Modern Street HEMI Shootout MSHS I’m guessing your around 20psi?
@@Chase0469 the pulley dictates the booooooooooooost! We ran 24 psi as our limit
Did you ever change your brake pads and rotors? I had to change mine at 9k miles on my charger hellcat...
Still stock so far

I had no idea that they had a 4.5 whipple charger I know they have a 8.3 blower for whipple
I got a question...what parts do I need to change in order to install this Supercharger on a Redeye with nothing done to it?
It's a complete kit. You'll need a rock solid tune and I recommend Hemituner Performance

all setups have their limitations. Hellcat motor has shown the ability to handle 24 psi without issue
How about your temps I have seen on other cars that whipples run cooler then roots

Can't wait.
ELLIOTT MORIARTY 392 need to be built before any boost . or it will blow . just in time
That area looks very familiar, Stafford County?

Nasty ass car. Now u can switch pulleys without pulling the whole top of supercharger off. Damn u thirsty for power boy. Do the tires stick?
They do thier best :)

It made 1032 rwhp
How much psi are you at to make 1032whp?
24
@@rockinghamdragway what’s the max psi that blower can output?
any updates? Did you make it to the track?
9.8
Modern Street HEMI Shootout MSHS im assuming you had better tired right?
Why is the RPM needle delayed??
How’s the whine compared to the stock blower
Totally different sound, love it.
