The scariest part of my day as an entrepreneur is getting up and realizing that a million other people (including many competitors of mine) are also watching these videos.

i wouldn't call that scary as there are probably a billion entrepreneurs out there so a few million is gonna change the competition much

I am thinking about a new type of restaurants: eating-spots
in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate
this is opposed to current restaurants,
thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are more powerful than restaurants,
along with that, there is an app,
people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days.
menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.

Just gave up my business cause family was my competition. I was the rookie but I was making more than them, they learned from me & they started doing the same thing while trying to crush me out of the game. Just gave up cause it did affect me emotionally didn't expect this from them. I went to a bit of depression & now have a homebased job but I'm thinking bout starting again in another field of business. This channel is really pumping me up to get back in the game. I'm learning alot from this channel.

they took my customers. They did this easy because we had the same store & they were older. I just gave up, they were not immediate family members but we were close. It was a bit too stressful & I think Im more flexible than them cause they have families & im single & I can always start again. Competition can be harsh.

Thanks for clearing this up Patrick,i have seen this mess a lot in MLM meetings. This is some unrealistic goals, there is too much people with no credibility giving real business and professional sales people a bad name. I am an aspiring entrepreneur and I don't fit in any of these categories. Business is indeed a team sport

The first video I watched of yours was the guerrilla marketing video because Im always lookin up to learn new strategies and tools and I like to follow the work of people like you so I can improve my technical and creative skills every day.
Im not an entrepreneur but my sight for the future is to be able to help people and businesses on an inovative and creative way, I started to help some local businesses around me, I help them in their social media marketing and finding new marketing strategies to improve their business alike.

My man!! I watched American ganster and this time with intend I watched a movie. I never thought it was worth until you MR.PAT changed the world for me.. I was falling again down becuz I was loosing sight and it's tough becuz it's a mental game!!!. Now ur words in this or maybe just this video was needed to wake up again.. Hope you continue pat and grow as I know the millions or the few that can read between the lines will see changes.. Today spoke to my parents and spoke like an entrepreneur if I can say it so.. I'm not yet one but I spoke to them one to change their life's.. It's a mix of you, a bit from "change your questions, change your life" book, Gary vaynerchuk, denzil Washington ( that motivational speech).. But it was you that created this in me or woke this part in me.. Thank you man!! Once again I acknowledge my mentor and funny he didn't even accept my request of mentoring or receive it yet but that's the beauty of virtual world.. Sorry it's long emotional comment and maybe too much for some but it's my comment and I'm directing to you so the rest can run ;) ( added a humour so it's not so emotional) Peace and love.. Linus.me Dubai, I hope you remember me..

  • @TheNinnyfee

Really good advice especially for starting entrepreneurs, thank you! The partypreneur sometimes is also a facade to screw competition over and wreck them, like "I don't practice, I rather party!" Drinks fake non-alcoholic drinks and practices when the others aren't watching. And then ridicules them.
There's one more for me, and very prominent: the rooftop entrepreneur/slave owner, entitled boss that thinks a house/a company only consists of the rooftop aka the leading levels. Views his lower employees as resources instead of humans and treats them as if they were invisible. Often also views women as objects and isn't around for his family the way he could. Is often brown-nosed and celebrated, but not the real deal.
Most important catch-phrase: "I work HARD every day, I am self-made!" If you were self-made you wouldn't need a company, an assistant, experts for your products. Good staff is not a liability but an asset. You invest in your staff that makes you rich.
Second catch phrase when everybody is leaving: "But why didn't you SAY anything???"

Yep, this channel does seem like a very good one for entrepreneurs in all fairness. It's more about self improvement and mistakes in business. I think youtube entrepreneur channels have a bad wrap because 95% of them are snakeoil get rich quick or "entrepreneurs" whos business IS the youtube channel explaining how to become an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship seems to be the new cool thing to do in 2016 for some reason.
Anyway, although I don't have time to watch many, thank you Pat for being legit and making very helpful videos, cheers!

I heard the Vanilla Ice guy is actually doing pretty well flipping high end properties right now... which is pretty funny considering the context of this video.

I never thought about categorizing entrepreneurs/people, this was genius. I am curious if you and your team brainstormed this together., (how in the world did this idea come about). It's pretty amazing really. I wouldn't mind you adding the other categories as bonus content that wasnt mentioned. This video could be a book topic by itself. Fantastic !!!!

I am in year 2 of my business and when I listen to you speak, it's as if you're in my head. People always bombard me with over-the-shoulder commentary about how to run my business; they always mention things I "need", like equipment, insurance, consulting, web design services, professional mechanics, certification courses, loans, and ideas for other, unrelated businesses that I should start instead of the one i have. People criticize me for doing a great job and being honest. I never ripped anybody off. People give me bonuses all the time, which I accept, but I don't overcharge people, and if they ask how much something costs, if they guess way too high, I will correct them. I won't take money that I haven't earned. People criticize this and say "Always take the max and run away." They are not entrepreneurs, so they can afford to talk out their asses with no consequences. And the ones that are, if they act the way I describe, well they just suck. And you don't have to be like them.
Most excellent video. You've helped me more than you know. One day we'll stand at the top together. Until then, keep up the great work.

You're doing a great thing here Patrick and I greatly appreciate it. There's nothing better than seeing a successful man doing something that he doesn't need to do, just because he wants to help others and share his wisdom.

Patrick, I am not fully my on my own as a business owner. However, you have made me a better employee and consultant. I have always been known for my work ethic, but I was starting to doubt my approach to work. You have cemented it, and working hard, smart and "do it now." Feels right and produces results. Thank you!

I am very proud to honestly verify I did not fall into 8 of those, but to be honest I still have to improve cause I have a bit of lazy and a tiny bit of getaround, and that is why after 10 years I can live without a boss but I am still braking even, witch is no good at all, very usefull exercise, what I most love on your videos is the way you objectively present stuff on a systematic way and also that bit of street-tough talk, witch become usefull to not let me relax and take you even more seriously, all the best to you, cheers
