      hoodout16 That's 220lbs dude. That ain't no weak person just starting out weight to be pushing around. He's trained before and strong starting out, so when he cuts the fat he's gonna be nice and toned. It's gonna be fun to watch the progress.
      Also when I was over 300lbs I couldn't do 20 pushups. I couldn't even do 10. We all start from where we are.

      i dont know, a lot of people stop training because they deem it to hard. But actual solid weight training programmes that give you the most bang for your buck are easy. giant sets etc might make some gain mental strength, but theyre not the best way to get results. there's much easier ways to get the same, if not better results. i think it comes down to the individual and what will get them to change there life for the long haul. personally i think most are more likely to stick to something if its relatively easy and theyre getting results.

    The good thing about this series is that mike was not aware of who Mike Rashid really is, this allows us to see someone genuinely going through the different stages a person goes through when there trying to make such a drastic life change. If it were someone who was fully aware of who Mike Rashid was and how valuable his time was they would be overly focused and we might not get to see the real struggle. This is a great series.

I watch this series when I'm working out and it is pushes me to go harder. This made me realize that while everybody may not need a personal trainer to accomplish their fitness goals, without one its way harder to push past your own limitations. Even if with your known limitations you're beasting, you still will tell yourself "this is my limit". It takes somebody else that doesn't know those limitations to tell you go harder sometimes for you to realize you could have done more. I could tell this dude is finna be BROLIC. Itsjustafiesta man, going from 358 to 295 is very good. I bounced from that exact same weight for years. I met a body builder who told me to stop lifting heavy weights and do more tension reps. He said the key to shredding is more tension reps and treadmill. He said running on the treadmill is where I get my rest. He also told me work a different muscle everyday. He said spend that day’s workout on that muscle and yes treadmill. Now I work my front legs on M front arm curls T back legs W chest which also works the back arm Th. Treadmill is everyday but on Friday and Saturday it’s all day treadmill. He said I could rest on Sunday until the workout addiction kicks in. As for my diet, he said processed foods was my enemy and I had to treat it that way. He told me to never weigh myself because you know what you want to look like so get there and my weight will justify it. Like I said in the beginning, my weight bounced from 358 to the lowest was 296. After learning from the body builder I have not weighed more than 146 since. Consistency creates addiction which turns into results. I simply treadmill now because the more weight you lose the less calories your body will demand to keep you stable. I hope this helps because someone helped me. Last, how long did it take me to go from 358 to 146 one year 4 months. The secret is the incline on the daily treadmill. The treadmill is your fat chopper.

I’m sitting at the crib, depressed and pissed off at myself so I decided to watch UA-cam to get some tips on how to workout and came across you and Mike Rashid’s videos. I can’t lie I felt your pain but more importantly I felt your anger. Why am I this size? Why did I do this to myself? How am I going to change it? I was so inspired by your strength to take charge of your life and take your journey with Rashid that I called up my old friend who is a trainer and pleaded with him to help me start my own journey. I’ve wasted his time before so he swears he won’t allow to me to quit on him. So don’t quit Big Mike because your journey not only inspires me but a lot of other people as well.( no pressure of course lol) 200 lbs is my goal so if you don’t mind I’m hopping on your bus and taking this trip with you in spirit brother. Keep pushing forward and don’t falter no matter how hard the obstacle is in your way cause you got this. Thank you for the motivation.

    Hate to be that guy, but big Mike hiking - walking instead of running was fine. He's burning calories with any sort of activity. Running at 300+ could actually damage his joints. Mike is a little old school Rocky style and that's understandable

    • @morelife6508
      @morelife6508 6 років тому +11

      yeah.. been saying that since video #1. this guy should be walking and fasting.. 3 weeks to lose 10lbs? i could lose 10lbs doing a 48hr salt water fast, while still maintaining strength. he has enough 'food' in the form of stored body fat. the goal here is 100lbs weight loss.. he can still perform while doing 24-48hr fasts, refeed, then fast. i predict burn out before video #10. science has come a long way since the days of the first rocky movie. big up the 'work ethic'... but sometimes working smarter is more impressive than working harder.

    • @nomamao
      @nomamao 6 років тому +3

      Yeah, repetitive stress on the joints with that much bodyweight is not a bright move for any trainer to have a client doing. For better results? Steep incline on a treadmill walking.
