But actual solid weight training programmes that give you the most bang for your buck are easy. giant sets etc might make some gain mental strength, but theyre not the best way to get results. there's much easier ways to get the same, if not better results. i think it comes down to the individual and what will get them to change there life for the long haul. personally i think most are more likely to stick to something if its relatively easy and theyre getting results.
The good thing about this series is that mike was not aware of who Mike Rashid really is, this allows us to see someone genuinely going through the different stages a person goes through when there trying to make such a drastic life change. If it were someone who was fully aware of who Mike Rashid was and how valuable his time was they would be overly focused and we might not get to see the real struggle. This is a great series.

Hey Big Mike. My name is Keith and I’m a truck driver whose 321lbs, just diagnosed with high blood pressure and sleep apnea. In my line of work that’s a definite no no. I’m sitting at the crib, depressed and pissed off at myself so I decided to watch UA-cam to get some tips on how to workout and came across you and Mike Rashid’s videos. I can’t lie I felt your pain but more importantly I felt your anger. Why am I this size? Why did I do this to myself? How am I going to change it? I was so inspired by your strength to take charge of your life and take your journey with Rashid that I called up my old friend who is a trainer and pleaded with him to help me start my own journey. I’ve wasted his time before so he swears he won’t allow to me to quit on him. So don’t quit Big Mike because your journey not only inspires me but a lot of other people as well.( no pressure of course lol) 200 lbs is my goal so if you don’t mind I’m hopping on your bus and taking this trip with you in spirit brother. Hate to be that guy, but big Mike hiking - walking instead of running was fine. He's burning calories with any sort of activity. Running at 300+ could actually damage his joints. Mike is a little old school Rocky style and that's understandable
yeah.. been saying that since video #1. this guy should be walking and fasting.. 3 weeks to lose 10lbs? i could lose 10lbs doing a 48hr salt water fast, while still maintaining strength. he has enough 'food' in the form of stored body fat. the goal here is 100lbs weight loss.. he can still perform while doing 24-48hr fasts, refeed, then fast. i predict burn out before video #10. science has come a long way since the days of the first rocky movie. big up the 'work ethic'... but sometimes working smarter is more impressive than working harder.
Yeah, repetitive stress on the joints with that much bodyweight is not a bright move for any trainer to have a client doing. For better results? Steep incline on a treadmill walking.
You've got this Mike; we're pulling for you through every rep. Mike, on the days you don't want to go to the gym please go. These videos are helping me. The treadmill is your fat chopper.
Mike Rashid has exposed flaws in my training. I see myself in Big Mike and not pushing myself past plateaus....Salute for showing us how its done Mike Rashid.....
On a diet, and its nighttime, only thing my mind was thinking about was going to the kfc near my house, but after watching mike workout til failure, I put on my shoes and went to the park jump roping and ran 2miles." LETS GO BIG MIKE" , THANKS FOR THE MOTIVATION. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION. I am with you on this journey.
Keep pushing forward and don’t falter no matter how hard the obstacle is in your way cause you got this. Thank you for the motivation.
Keith
Keith I'm with you brother
Torwards the end of the video he isn’t arguing anymore! 👌🏼
Brandon Guerra I noticed that too. Big Mike has made peace with pain.
Talking coats energy

You ain't never lie Colson Seymour
Mike, your a dope trainer family. The motivation and the will ,to push your clients to the MAX ,is exceptional my brother‼️ That’s Tough love and you never let them take the easy way out. You always can do more, even though you think you can’t. It’s all about the mindset and determination you transfer to your clients ,which is AMAZING ‼️Keep up the Good Work Mike.
You resemble Killer Mike a lil bit. #RUNTHEJEWELS
Yeah like they could be related. Killer Mike needs to get with the program though.
@@sonja4164 I think he is on a weight loss journey
@@lenardbrown7345 well that's awesome!
Every big black dude looks like Killer Mike lol
Who Killa Mike?
Big Mike, you inspire and uplift my heart! Your spirit and strength are remarkable. Can't wait for the next installment!
I weight bout 125 this dude got more energy than me 🔥
Big Mike is a beast .I don't think I've ever seen a guy his size go that hard before..keep it up man...RESPECT.
More Life not everybody is you. Everyone body is different you're no expert or you wouldn't be on his videos giving you 2cents.
I agree. My dad is over 300 lbs, and I wouldn't have him run right now. Walking is fine...… maybe with an incline.
When mike rashid says run. You run
I wish I was there with you pushing along so keep pushing forward. Les Brown said, "Do what is easy and your life will be hard. Do what is hard and your life will become easy."
Keep it up Mike! If I can lose 35 pounds in 2 months, you can too brother!
How did you lose it
Larry Box Exactly
The struggle is real and this video is inspiring as hell. I'm in shape and this is still extremely motivating. I have a feeling my workout is going to be great today. Mike Rashid !!!!!
what's the diet looking like tho Mike? He is killing it in the gym
Gamegeek word i want to know wat the diet like if he got him running 3 miles b4 he work out then going beast in the gym
@@bighomie104 yeah thats a lot of work in one session. just wondering if he is able to get proper recovery and calories to sustain that level of intensity
You got this BIG MIKE! When I'm struggling on my last set or reps I will remember your struggle and push through.
Quik question... How in the World does he get perfect audio even if there is music and sound in tje background of the gym? Rich Pianas videos had horrible audio!
lav mic. Not a shotgun mic.
He has a rode link mic or a lavaliere mic clipped to his shirt
@@thekidwiththekung-fugrip3347 Oh thats soo cool thanks
