I started changing my lifestyle a little bit before ep 1... I was at 275 lbs at the beginning of August.. I am now at 225 lbs... no fast food, no soda or juice just water. I slipped up a few times with a slice of pizza or mini burger but I’ve been very strict on myself. Never thought I could do this but of you put your mind to it you can. Started walking everywhere, now I can run 2 miles and it’s fun to push myself!! Let’s do it guys, too much of America is obese it’s gotta stop! Meditation and spirituality is important, trust me when I say this was not possible with out God. I got 25 pounds more to go!!!
I like that there’s no drama, cursing or throwing things in a rage when Mike added more reps to Big Mike’s squat set. If this were on tv there would be lots of nonsense added. This is organic.
I can’t believe I just found this journey on UA-cam . This is amazing and has inspired me to continue working out and losing weight I was 301lbs now am 275 since instarted watching this and incorporating all I can from this journey of mikes into mine . I watch these vids when I work out .. I try the work outs . Mannn... lol. I love it though. I feel the rush when he get at him.. I be like OKAY... LOL.
It's crazy seeing his progress! You can see he's passed the tipping point. You can see it in his physique but more than anything you can see it in his attitude. He's not trying to cheat reps and take shortcuts. He's adding reps on his own sets when he isn't satisfied with the form. Because he's experiencing first hand the rewards that come when you do shit the hard way. It's super motivating watching these videos. It's helping me rekindle that flame that was lost around year 4 when the progress really started to slow down. Hunger and discipline is the only way to move forward. Keep workin Big Mike! When i saw the beginning of the video when big mike stepped on the scale and you said hold on get off the scale I felt chills seeing the numbers slow down at around the 280 mark. Mike is looking so much better and even though his workouts are getting harder you can tell he is putting in so much effort. Though I haven't been following your workout routine, I have been eating right, focusing on lots of compound movements and your mental jewels is what pushed me to go past my limits and focus on my goals.. Seeing how he lost 33 lbs in 2 months makes me even more motivated to achieve greatness. I do want to try and follow Mike's workout now but would like to know if he is doing that same workout 3 times a week and then you change it up a bit the next following week? It took me about 4 months of consistent training to really develop that lion mode and really enjoy digging deep and embracing the pain. I see mike is almost there. I can only imagine the progress once he gets to that point. He's almost there though. Good work guys.
