I knew when I met my ex that she was this type of person... the type that blocks people. Essentially, she is the type that acts from her pain in a HARSH way. I think I thought I could change her. And I guess what ended things for our relationship was me telling her "I can't keep doing conflict and drama. I have to stop participating in this cycle." That caused her to freak out and then I guess I'm now blocked from texting or calling (we weren't connected on social medias). For me, I was inviting her to step into a higher level of love. I want a baseline of love, compassion and kindness. Blocking just isn't that. I understand why folks do it. But it's a power play and it feels like shit to be played with in this way. It certainly isn't the type of relationship that I feel safe being in. Knowing that she blocked me 1.) makes me know how hurt she is and she's trying to push that onto me so that I feel it to 2.) feels like a deal breaker for me. I dont feel a wave of anxiety when they block me. Its more of a "i guess they're not the one for me". What does give me anxiety is the thought that everything i have learned or believed. Is utter garbage.

Avoid ever going to the girl's family home. Dated a girl, she brought me to her grandma's house in the village. The next month I was busy with my business, she left for vacation early, boring to stay at my house if I'm not taking her out. I finished my business, and went to her village to see her. Same thing happened to me, I lived with her and her family, but damn they are so toxic, so I got in a heated argument with them and left, guess what happened next... They reported me to the police...

So this is the third week for me, I did see my ex last Monday (off and on for 5 years, she’s 19 im 20) to get my things and it went well. She even called me after to tell me how her grandparents said they didn’t think we should break up. And said she’s making a wrong decision because of how handsome and attractive I am. Fast forward to this past early Sunday morning like around 3:45 am she blew my phone up & called me 5 times. 4 on Instagram and once on Facetime Audio.
Then later in the morning she said “bro f*ck 😭 that wasn’t me 💀” I haven’t responded and I don’t know if I should. I’m sure she was probably drunk, but she had me blocked on her number so I know it had to be her who called… Im so confused. Any insight?

I don't understand this version of "love." It's SO conditional and transactional. If you treat me this way, you can stay in my life. Once you leave, you're never welcome back. That is so odd to me. I don't have any exes that I'm desiring to be back in relationship with. But that is because I outgrew them and learned what I needed to learn from them. I would consider friendship with them if that made sense, but I don't treat them like they "lost out" by letting me go. It's just how it goes. No harm, no foul. We need more love in this world, not more contempt.
