CORRECTION: Tic Watch can auto detect workouts but for that you have to sign in On Google Fit. While on Galaxy Watch 3 you don’t have to sign in anywhere it will auto detect workouts out of the box.

Thanks for correcting this. While I'm sure TicWatch and other WearOS workout apps are great... Google Fit app on WearOS is just amazing. I go to the gym regularly for weight training etc. The fact that Google Fit can auto detect the type of strength training workout I do... AND figure out the WEIGHT increases or decreases based on rep count and grip/HR etc or some AI heuristics, is just insanely impressive. Try it for a week on the TWP3 and let me know pls.
Is samsung only auto detect to walk and run? Because my weighlifting workout at the gym never activate the auto detect

Now in Germany, Ticawtch Pro 3 GPS and Galaxy watch 3 are very close to each other in pricing (Actually galaxy watch is a bit cheaper than ticwatch!) but I can not decide which one to buy because I think galaxy watch has more premium build quality but in the other hand Samsung Pay doesn't work for wearables in Germany and also Bixby is a disaster! So if you were me, which one would you choose?

I've tried both watches, the samsung does have a slight edge over the Ticwatch, but it's downside is the limitations of the os. If you're already in Samsung's ecosystem then getting the galaxy watch is the obvious choice. But if you're not in Samsung's eco system then Ticwatch is waaay better.
Ticwatch pro 3 owner here.
The problem with Samsung is Bixby. As far as I am aware Google Assistant doesn't work on it. It also doesn't have a normal keyboard. The OS is very limited. Apple watch is much better than both. That's one thing I will miss about apple ecosystem.
I went with galaxy watch active 2.
Its very smooth, battery is 3 days with all health features enabled. 36hrs with AOD. I use battery intensive watch faces too by Bergen.
Jesus I get like barely a day out of my galaxy watch active 2. Bixby is awful. If it didn't work so well with my S21 Ultra I would have already switched

I have to say that my galaxy watch, not the 3, maybe a little thicker but works like the 3 version that others have said. Also the battery life is almost 4 days.
IMO, in the ticwatch, I find that the display is not so good, meaning it's bland even though the pixel density is higher. Maybe it's b'coz of the FSTN display above the OLED. Samsung's display is more punchy and a better quality. Remember it's jmo guyz😁
Does either have robinhood or a stock ticker view on it?
Thanks for a comparison. Great that Samsung lasts a bit longer but TicWatch is great for the second display with tracking pulse and straps as long as other data.

Did some update checking. Older video comparison. If you are into working out only the tic may be better. The Samsung is a better overall choice if you are less into exercise but want health monitor like ecg, blood pressure, etc. Disappointment that no BP or ECG om the pro 3. That is a deal breaker for me. Phone and notifications work fine but less apps like Facebook etc. The rotary dial to move through selections is great. Price? Samsung for $119 with Samsung trade in or $279 without.
I wish the TicWatch had an ECG monitor and it would be perfect. I'm debating on whether or not to buy the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS now or just wait a little while for a new TicWatch 4 to come out or the other Pixel Watch or New Galazy watch that's supposed to run WearOS that have been rumored.
I would suggest to wait.

Bixby is completely disappointing. The feature to locate the phone does not always work. Other than that, good smartwatch.

heres acatch if you alredy own a samsung phone just get the sammsung you be able to charge it wiresless yeah tic watch offers more battery but you have to use only there charging cable. it took me 3 hrs to figurate which one would be better for me

You don't need a samsung phone, just install the galaxy wear app. I'm using a Nokia 7.2 with a samsung galaxy active watch 2 and it works flawlessly.
But in that lte option not working in other than samsung
@@androidkadai3022 just find some one who have Samsung phone, put your sim card in it, install the galaxy app, connect it with your watch, activate the network data with easy steps in the app, once you get the activation by your provider which an example in my phone is EE it will cost you 7£ per month.
In one hour your watch will be connected to your network data without need to your phone at all.
Move out your sim card to your phone and open the app there and all is working perfectly.
Your watch is now receiving calls directly even if you left your phone at home.
Only if you want to receive the notifications on your watch then you should keep your phone connected to your watch through Bluetooth.
I tried ticwatch pro and it was a penitence to use it during the day. Massive lag, not smooth at all, etc. Now with this new one the smoothness is comparable to the galaxy watch? I mean the feeling during the day, you know.

Go for active watch 2 than galaxy watch 3. It's cheaper and basically the same thing without the physical bezel.
Nope the TicWatch is waaay better,I have the Active 2 and it's ok,bixby sucks,the weather is waaay off, texting on it sucks doesn't have the Google keyboard,the watch keeps disconnecting from my phone and no not because of my phone but because of the app it connects to it has to many bugs and not just me if you go through the reviews alot of ppl are having the same issue with the galaxy wearable app,they need to fix all that,if they were to switch to Google Os than we'll talk but either way I went back to my original Pro that still runs like a champ compared to the galaxy active 2.

The oxygen and heart sensors stopped working just after two weeks I bought the Ticwath PRO 3 GPS. I contacted the Mobvoi support team and the answer was that wetting the watch wasn´t covered by the warranty and they only offered me a 30% discount on another product. This is clearly a scam or fraud.

@@h483b after recent updates, now Samsung pay, ecg and blood pressure are functioning in Germany so I bought Samsung Galaxy watch 3 because it is more premium and the rotating bezel is a very good feature which helps you to navigate easily. I am totally happy with my choice and I think it is the best decision which I could make 🙂

i am a samsung phone user (currently) but I am very interested in the TicWatch due to google OS and apps, etc. I don't really use the samsung apps on my phone much and I've had 2 or 3 of them by now. I have a gear S2 watch that ive never really used because i didn;t like it and now i think i can trade it in for 200$ off samsung galaxy 3 but that may not be totally true. Anyhow, I am still leaning more towards the TicWatch, or maybe a Garmin

Has anyone bought the ticwatch pro 3 yet? I bought it, but no matter what I do it doesn't charge. It charged once, but stopped at 96%, and now doesn't charge at all. Tried different power outlets, my other devices charge, just not my watch. I've contacted mobvoi through the app as well as their website, but no response whatsoever. I'm kind of wondering what I paid for, since if you have a problem no one will help you
That's very strange I'm continuously using tic watch these days charging it everyday. Try to clean charging contacts if still doesn't works make sure you get it replaced from mobvoi
@@TechnoProz yeh tried that, turned it off and on etc. I've contacted them again regarding the warranty, hopefully I'll get a response at least. Good thing essential mode has remarkable battery life, because it's still going

Samsungs software is useless i had the s3 classic , gps would work as and when it pleased , had problems charging the device, app store is poor too full of apps that dont work and are non refundable . My tv is tizen too and its buggy , i shall be avoiding tizen from now on ! Lets hope they dont force there phones on that os
I just have hard time trusting TWP3 in swimming vs Samsung. I go with GW3 daily to swimming and stay an hour and no issues at all. Speaker works fine and all feel its well sealed. I am so tempted to switch TWP3 for the battery life and Google assistance but is it worth to switch?

@@tim-taylor certified to 5ATM standards means that they are water resistant to up to 50 metres in depth for 10 minutes. They are now suitable for low-velocity and shallow-water activities, including swimming. not sure what the rating is at 2ATM (10metres) or even less .. swimming often occurs in the first metre so I imagine you could be in the water for hours without stressing the seals beyond breaking point.

But why no announcements and major uprising because the ECG and Blood Pressure reading options ONLY work on Samsung phones. Can't install the needed Health Monitor app on non-Samsung phones. Bah! Super Pissed that I wasted my money, this was the whole reason I bought this watch. This kind of thing is why I dropped Samsung for Pixel phone years ago. Thought I would give Samsung one more chance, and they blew it big time. FO Samsung!

Why not mention the ROTATING BEZEL on the Galaxy watch? You have not done anything to help us choose.
Excellent video. It's fair to say that the Tic Watch people made some changes to Wear OS that improved things. But I know the OS, very well having had a couple of Huawei watches. Wear OS is still bad, and despite the efforts here, you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear. Lol. Tizen is just better. Google doesn't care about Wear OS and it shows.
Google assistant other than that android wear os is not worth it. After you load some apps it will start to lag 🤐 whereas tizen works fine after months usages.
Performance is significantly improved I can say this with confidence after using Fossil gen 5 and then Tic watch pro 3 with wear 4100
@@TechnoProz if possible load up 90% storage on watch and do check. Tizen works well even if we use 99% storage as well. It performs like apple. In case of android be it watch or phone as time goes things start to lag the more you load data/apps. In apple it won't n tizen is the closest alternate I felt worth !
Overall general comparison, you haven't touched on the pain of using these watches. Wear OS for eg, has many app options, but all those apps have glitches. Touch response isn't accurate and it is at the same level how it was few years ago, as Google is not actively developing wear OS and Qualcomm upgrades at least until spring 2020 has been laughable. You could say something if you really noticed improvements in Wear OS with this watch. I bought Galaxy watch, even though apps are limited, available apps work perfectly. I dont know if wear OS update in August made any huge improvements

TICWATC PRO 3 - How can you tell that a watch is waterproof but not resistant to a shower? I find it a misleading advertisement! I only used it for 2 months and the warranty didn't answer me because I can't take a shower with the watch .. DON'T BUY IT!

This video felt more like someone trying to prove the TicWatch is better than the Galaxy Watch 3. I'm not saying it is or isn't.... It just didn't feel like an unbiased comparison.
I had last year's TicWatch and it was pretty good but I switched to the Galaxy 3. I'd give the 4100 chipset a chance but probably in a Fossil watch as opposed to TicWatch.
Give wear 4100 a chance. I had fossil gen 5 and I hated it for it's slow response and battery drain. This thing is quite impressive in turns of speed and battery life. Galaxy watch is definitely a premium watch but what you're getting for 299 vs 430 is more important.
I'm giving back galaxy 3. Useless watch no app support. Can even change the volume from work out app. Who made this ui?!
The secondary display of the TicWatch is hideous. I would never want to look at it. The screen might be higher resolution but it doesn't look as good as the Samsung in this video. It's such a shame Samsung hasn't updated their processor.
