Great comparison, as much as I like the rotating bezel on SW6 I like longer battery even more and I really like the fast charging of the TWP2. Both are great choices but I have chosen the TWP2 for the price, battery life, and quick charging. I also like that the side button/scroll makes it look more like a regular watch.

Back in late 2018 I bought TicWatch Pro. There is a problem with their chargers, response time and performance in general.
I changed 4 chargers before giving up (having a smart watch for a while). I recently bought SW6... Hopefully it will do better.
@AndreasNeumann-xz6jd hopefully for you. Because the Samsung Watch you have to charge a lot...about every 1.5 day... I'm done with mine. Crap battery life, software issues etc etc. My Watch 5PRO was much better at everything.

Good comparison with two glaring omissions. Tick watch Pro has 32 GB of storage Samsung only 16. The second omission is you did not go over processors on either of the watches when you leave out two of the most important functions of a watch and then you give the nod to Samsung. The tick watch uses snapdragon W5.

I would never recommend a ticwatch to anyone while im still wearing my watch 3 gps but still no software updates.

I would never recommend anyone with tattoos to buy a Samsung watch. They do not work at all..
Ticwatch have the settings for wrist detection to get it to work around that
Agreed, until Mobvoi makes a public statement saying they will have software support on their watches for AT LEAST 4 years (I dont mean retroactively, but going foward), I won't ever recommend Ticwatches ever again.

Mine just damaged and now can not charge and if it says that it charged it does not sustain the charge for a few minutes after unplugging. Maybe the battery suddenly died.

I have both, but the black TW5P. I really love my GW6C, i have a Fold 5 and do blood pressure etc. The battery life is nowhere near the same, but i still really enjoy this watch.

Samsung watch is known to be not accurate and in most reviews people said way off and garbage for the price
LTE Capabilities on the Samsung 6 simply goes through the roof.
Excluding battery issues, you can literally toss the phone away and spend your day only with a watch.

Thanks a lot for video. I am really hesitating now, from one side I'm samsung owner. On another hand battery life is very essential for me. Have no pation to charge watches every day. So I am a bit more kin to tpro5. But still thinking, if there are samsung 6 pro, I will take that one for sure.

Thank you, in the range of smart watches, Galaxy Watch and Google Pixel are the most beautiful, and Tic Watch is similar to classic and automatic watches. You have to choose the shape of the watch from the point of view of smart watches, thanks again

i have a chest strap i'd like to pair with the ticwatch but it says it's unavailible . When your video shows your connection to the polar h10 strap it say unavailible as well. Are you sure this feature actually works with the tikwatch?
It only works via Google Fit. Ot used to work with the versions while working on the vid. Manufacturers become more and more restrictive about it
I have a friend that has a galaxy watch and phone, he likes it but it looks small and too plain. I ended up getting the TWP5 in sandstone. Really glad i got it, the battery lasts about 5 days with everything turned on and I even set heart rate monitoring to "continuous". In my opinion its the better watch if you dont have a Galaxy phone, it looks nicer and i cant tell for sure, but i think its faster and more responsive than my friends watch. Having the ECG and blood pressure measurements would be nice, but i don't have a galaxy phone so i wouldn't have them with either watch so the TWP5 was a no brainer.
Since i have a note 20 ultra would i be better off getting a galaxy watch? I did want to get a one plus open later.
@@adre238901 if you plan to leave Samsung the TWP5 is the better watch. The only thing I don't like is it's lacking Google Assistant, but I've heard it's coming in an update??

Is there a big difference on their body ratio? I love the TWP5 but dont have the chance to try them out and im scared of ordering oversea and turns out too big for me. With classic 6, i can say it was looking good with my wrist. Are they similar in size in actual? Will appreciate your thoughts. Btw my wrist size is 6.5 inches. Thank you!

S1 Pro is amazing. No e of these two can come close to its battery endurance.
I am watching for upgrading from Watch 4 Classic and I am going for TicWatch. The Samsung Healt apps is not enough for me and my Watch 4 are going to be laggyy and does not sent notifications and even froze.
The TicHealth apps are indeed awesome.
Hey man, this is an old video, but I see that you are still replying to comments, I am in a weird situation. My father is not tech-savvy at all, he only recently started using touch screen phones, and some time ago he told me that he would like a smartwatch because his friend showed him one, and he really likes the fact that you can take calls through them.
So, can you recommend a nice smartwatch to me? The price at best would be around $190, but a lot of the more expensive watches like the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and 6 can be bought new for much cheaper here in Poland because a lot of people tend to sell new stuff for much cheaper here due to getting it as presents etc. As I said, the only mandatory thing on the watch would be taking calls, while the rest like sleep tracking, many fitness options do not really matter.
If he is fine with recharging almost every day - Galaxy Watch 4 is still a great one, almost the same as Watch 5 and.close to Watch 6 about features and performance.
Amazfit GTR 4, Cheetah and similar also support phone calls via the watch, as long as Bluetooth is connected. So bunch of choices - and now is the right time around Black Friday

I have had Samsung gear s3 frontier for last 5 years. It's still working and Samsung was prompt with updates. They sent updates until last two years I think. Given that history I am leaning towards GW6C but I don't use Samsung phones. Having to install a patched app to get this working on pixel is a bummer.. What is the trend of Ticwatch updates? Do they ever update their products?

It's not really that much of an issue getting the app to run the Samsung on Pixel. I have the pixel 8 pro. You almost don't even know it's there.
It is unavoidable. At some point i'll meet you in Sithonia-Chalkidiki. Vourvourou (closer to me) , Neos Marmaras , Nikiti , who knows ..maybe next summer ;).
By the way climb mount Itamos(Dragoudeli) for running-trekking , just above Vourvourou...(Annual Crossing of Dragoudeli at 22 October)

I might just look for a pixel watch. I hate that ticwatch updates aren't as fast. I had Samsung watches in the past but i own a pixel so i can't use all the features on galaxy watch.
The Pixel 2 is pretty nice, and so is Pixel 1.

Pixel watch 2 is great if you're a preteen or woman. If you're an adult male, the size of the pixel watch 1/2 is just absurd

Best feature i like in TWP5 is TWP5 can receive notification even when your phone at home as long as both phone and TWP5 have internet connection

To be fair, it can also be said for Mobvoi themselves over how they handled the Wear OS 3 update on Ticwatch Pro 3 and E3, that was handled so poorly, it was basically an insult. I would never recommend Ticwatch ever again until Mobvoi says outright that they will support for at least as long as Samsung is with theirs which I believe is 4 years for OS updates.

god I love the design of my Galaxy Watch 6, the smaller one. But the battery life is pathetic. It can't make the end of the day. I can't wait to see how bad it will get after a year. I don't recommend it if you don't plan to charge it twice a day
Yeah... It's how it is with Wear OS based devices.

A very Samsung bias comparison with out right lies weaved in. He really never tested the TicWatch since he thinks it has Google assistant. Which is one of the biggest problems and would be something you would think he would point out. Plus the TicWatch is vary often on sale for less than $250.
The Google Assistant part was mentioned because someone from Mobvoi's team was promising it will be released in the coming days after the review was planned to go live.
I am not a Samsung fan,.for the record.
