Great review, sounds like a pretty good watch. Although, I probably wont ever buy a smart watch because if I did, I probably wouldn't be able to go back to using a regular watch. So in the mean time, I will enjoy my ignorance.
My wife just got me this watch for my 50th I've had fitbit for 3 years but I had to buy one ever year as they don't last not I can say this watch does what I need it to do and plenty more I'm not technically minded but t me this is fantastic and the plus side is I can answer the phone with it and talk to it 10/10 for me
I love this watch but considering I am in the military and into long distance running after a while the tracker became innacurate, not sure if it was the extreme weather it was subjected to. Running in the snow or scorching hot desert, but other than that it was my favorite watch for a year and probably not the best idea to use a chinese based company storing my data as far as OPSEC is concerned.
Just a point on the ip68; cold water will be fine for almost every device rated for water resistance, the issue comes with hot water due to the melting temperature of the adhesive that makes it resistant. At least that is my understanding :)
I'm tempted to buy one but the main reason I'd want a smart watch (over the traditional style that I have right now) is to easily check exterior temperature on the fly without having to use my phone.
I've had a Ticwatch Pro for a couple years now. It's definitely showing its age in 2022 so it's less useful but I still wear it everyday. I work in an auto shop and the watch has held up tremendously well considering its been covered in oil and subjected to very low and high temperatures. I haven't had an issue at all besides the slow software. I don't think I'd buy the Ticwatch Pro 3 unless I had a specific reason as I just use my watch for step counting and changing music when I don't have my phone on me. I think their dual screen technology is really useful and makes it stand out from other smart watches, it's a genuinely nice feature to have. That pun at the end was one of the best yet
I wouldn't get this smartwatch at this point. It still runs WearOS 2.5 and it's been radio silence about it updating. Not to mention it has barely any water protection, although it advertised that it has IP68. You cannot swim with it or shower with it. Much more too.
Honestly, throughout the video I was just in shock that your Razer Phone is still working. Those phones were notorious for crapping out after 10 months.
Not gonna lie this looks better than the apple watch. Never was a fan of that design which is surprising since Apple devices generally look really good
I think u going to be fine with normal watch. I have this watch and my usage are normal. Usage: - song during exercise - prayer notification - clock - alarm( i wear my watch when sleep) Thats all.
Going in a shower with that watch is fine just don't let soapy water drench all over it. Soapy water will sip more easily on seals because soap acts as a surfactant.
Do not buy from Mobvoi they have no repair mechanism in place these are too expensive to be throw away products but if they can't fix it if there is an issue then it is disposable.
As someone who owns a lot of smartwatches I personally have to say that all ticwatches I have used so far are inferior to other high end smartwatches like fossil, citizen, skagen and especially samsung.
@@tebhernandez The Ticwatch has the best battery life 1.5-3 days, second is the Watch 4 with 1-2.5 days and third are all the watches based on fossil gen6 0.75-2(rarely) days. The low roles are due to a lot of fitness tracking (1.5 hours of resistance training and 4 hours of gps tracking)
im looking at the tw pro 3 ultra over gw4 purely cause of the disgusting battery life, is there any particular reasons or features besides wear os 3 the gw4 would be better?
@@ReeceCoza Well to be honest I think the gw4 is better in every way except battery life (better build quality, better health features overall, more powerful and efficient chipset, better display, I have received more compliments with both gw4's, twp3 has no digital crown or bezel to navigate UI, more storage on gw4, gw4 has wireless charging) and the battery life is no big deal if you are able to charge it every day.
@@thegodsiegeneeds1917 fair enough cheers for reply! Id love to go gw4 but charging daily really irritates me as comes from a Fitbit with weeks battery life is too much of a sacrifice, I think tw should suffice
You got me at the end not gona lie.
I'm glad XD
Yes! Still making puns!
do all featuress work with ios
great review barry, you tackled everything important
do you have the watch as well?
beautiful video, what's with the low view count. Great job Barry.
great video!! where did you get the watch faces?

I've had one since last summer and I did wear it a few times while swimming in a freshwater lake. Still functions perfectly!
yeah it seems the waterproofing is great! mine had no issues either!

10/10 for me
The ending had me in stitches. so punny
Good points .I go the whole day without looking at my Apple Watch . Are smartwatches worth it especially with a nightly charge .
where did you find these great wallpapers ? ( especially the Japanese one ? ) :D

That ending is priceless 🤣
Barry what are your thoughts on the artesian drama?
The ending was priceless. 😂
How do I prevent wear os from slowing down over time? After two years, my E2 was unusable.
Do you need a screen protector?
i like the custom mouse mat
What face is the Gameboy face shown at 6:00?

that's good to know!
Another reason to take cold showers I guess.
That's why the 5ATM rating on the Galaxy Watch 5 beats this watch when it comes to water resistance.

Damn the lack of a blood oxygen sensor kind of sucks.
at the first few minutes I also guess that you are in Vietnam 🤣 such an iconic architecture style
I was! good catch!
I guess this is one of my most honest reviews.
oh thats kinda neat actually

good to know! My ticwatch pro started getting slow! really glad you enjoyed the end!
For work my phone is always on silent so throughout the day my ticwatch pro 3 gps is my main notification device
is this smartwatch still working? I saw that people were having issues with it not charging and with the display not coming on

woah! yeah mine has lasted!

I love the look!
I'm good with my Mi Band 4 but the lack of apps blows.
I had a Mi Band 4 and I can tell you smarbands and smartwatches are a world apart
Can you use Google Pay in essential mode?
you cannot as far as I know
@BulletBarry would you mind linking your zelda watch background?
You watch rassling? Interesting
never heard of it!

I do want a smartwatch but it's hard to justify getting one when the only good ones cost more than my phone.

I have a Fitbit Versa 1, I like it, but compared to the Ticwatch 3 Pro, this is a child's product.
I love this watch, please can u give me this as a gift, Please. Am Geoffrey
I gave my fossil away. Terrible watch.
I personally own a TicWatch GTX it does everything I want to a point it will not get 3rd party messages I.E. discord, telegram, and so on.
