I’m 20 and got 104 and 4,1 on free T. Doctor told me that she worked on symptoms not random analisis (she never told me the symptomps) and to not take tests on my own, she didn’t give a fuck and I don’t know what to do.
@@suprimoklk8740 well I would suggest finding a source and taking .5 ml a week of test cip or find you a Dr that specializes in hormone replacement therapy
Highly processed food, stress, late night doom, scrolling on the phone and lack of good quality sleep lowers testosterone. You have to be in a chill state of mind you have to be rested like a mountain gorilla.
The doctors say that you are testerone levels are okay when they are not because this is what they are taught in textbooks at medical school. While science is progressing textbooks will take many years to change. Many medical practices that doctors still use are outdated. It can 30 years to see changes in textbooks.
Great video Dave! I can’t tell you how hard this hits home. It’s so prevalent now. People at large aren’t eating Whole Foods and working hard like they used to, plus other variables, and no wonder low T is huge today! Sad to see.
#1. Physicians are trained in Pathophysioglogy 1st. Then they may go on to specialize more. #2. it is call Practicing medicine. And honestly, there is a Whole hell of a lot to study out there...
to make things more clear I received my results today.....I am 40 years old and my total testosterone level is 445 .....but my free testosterone is 87.8.... is that bad at my age ? Or what can you say about my total and free levels as stated ? Thanks in advance
I went in when I was 21 and at 27, now 29. Both times it was around 200ng/dl. Total test was in low range. Never gave me any advice besides loose weigh and stop eating red meat. Basically I said fuck you and I haven't been back. I spent thousands of dollars in test and I even had a mri done of my pituitary gland. But they still wouldn't offer any other advice. I weighed 230 each time and I'm 6'3. I'd say that's normal for a grown as man that lifts weight and eats lean cuts of beef every day.
Went into the doctors here in the uk with the symptoms told them I would like to have my testosterone tested they didn’t even get back to me been stuck with the same symptoms for 4 years thinking about getting it tested privately any suggestions ?
@Leon-yq3np they literally have a program that isn't much better the web MD they check off symptoms and it will tell the what's most likely wrong with you.
Did I say icu I said DOCTOR as in a GP. Obviously you have to be a little more qualified to be in charge of people who could die at any moment vs telling someone they PROBABLY have tendinitis
I don't have a low, Testosterone, but i'd like to say something on this. Most of the doctors I've encountered now days are females I really don't think a female should speak a word about male anatomy. Females in general tend to work In the medical field more than men So it's no wonder men in this country, Are having mental health and, Testosterone problems. Females should have female doctors and, men should have men doctors.
Okay I’m 39 I’m low T 232! 5.9 235 My estrogen was high. Man tits Always getting the hot flashes cold flashes I feel constantly sick mentally. What did I do? Lol I had it tested . And 20 years of feeling this way. Hooked on everything . Because of this! Yeah they suck Look man. You need Testosterone lol! I’m not playing
What these guys are talking about is EXACTLY what Dr. Ken Berry details in "Lies My Doctor Told Me". Great book!!! Find a Doc who listens and partners with you dealing with your health concerns who will further educate themselves and learn with you. Not some pompous know it all fool.
In healthcare, when diagnosing, be it as a doctor, a psychologist, a dentist etc, there are steps. Firstly, you get all the hard information, background, demographics, education, the concrete background facts. Secondly, you assess the quickest, most easily and cheaply assessible signs while the patient tells you their symptoms (signs are manifestations of medical issues that the diagnosed can see while symptoms are the manifestations the patient feels feels.) Then, you come with differentials, all the possible diagnoses that explain your patients signs and symptoms. Then you pick one diagnosis that is most likely first, and run tests to confirm or not confirm it. In your example. The doctor will check your signs that are immediately and easily observed. He will then ask you for your symptoms. If a doctor didn't go with your low testosterone theory and went a different route, it was because based in your signs, low T wasn't the most likely diagnosis that best explains your signs and symptoms. If you stick with that doctors process, if it is low-T, you'll quickly get to that after a couple other possible diagnosis were checked. When one goes to a medical professional, you should give your background, med list, symptoms, and signs in the most vivid detail possible. Dont waste time thinking of all the possible diagnoses, thats the docs job, by telling yourself, "its just low testosterone" you are making it harder for the doctor to do his work.
Yes, I blasted years ago that its an epidemic; tell me about it blood work said minez was normal but taking preworkouts to get through the day just to get up and move!
Any reasonably intelligent person can know what a family doctor knows. Mind you I'm not talking about a specialist. Do you think your family doctor goes home and researched the latest info on YOUR condition? Hell no...but YOU will right? Of course !
I'm on month 3 of TRT and I didn't do a lab before I started because I get it from someone and my free T right now is 2660. And that's on 1.5cc a week. I think what I'm getting is some crazy shit.
What your saying is not true. Doctors must do continuing medical education(CME). 90 hours every 2 years. I like your channel but don't spread false info.
Credit where credit is due... It might be a mistake... But you realize that there are 17,532 hours in a 2 year period right? They're not even spending 1% of that time studying new content in their field of expertise. On average they would spend 146 hours in the bathroom in 2 years... They spend more time in the bathroom than they are required to spend studying new information in their field 😂. I love statistics.
I'm 32 and my test was 181 ng/dl and 5.2 and I had two doctors tell me that my test wasn't low.
Cuz they are fucking dumb. I hate them
Dummies
I was about the same age and at 229 and symptomatic. The doctor ran the test again, said I was 231 and the reference range is 230-900 so I was fine.

It would be awesome if you would invite the guys from Barbell Medicine over to discuss topics like this
#1. Physicians are trained in Pathophysioglogy 1st. Then they may go on to specialize more. #2. it is call Practicing medicine. And honestly, there is a Whole hell of a lot to study out there...
My doctor gave me a blood work came back to 212 still don’t want me to be on trt
hes red af
Healthy testosterone glow 😆 his hct is probably 65 😆
Wish had Doctors like that here ❤
Even pituitary tumours were thought to be soOoOo rare but now research shows it’s in 1 out of 4 people at post-mortem
Those same docs got my testicles still in a big problem and now my parents won't take me to the hospital
Physician arrogance has taught me a lot when consulting professionals

I thought it is the problem with doctors in my country only.
29 years old at 821 total testosterone
To be a dr nowadays is no harder then using Google
You right, watch a vid and go manage a icu

@@bsmbB that is not true, trust me my dad works in SICU managing them is way more than that. His ICU is known for the most life saving

With that logic, what about veterinaries lol
Yeah animals should examine other animals. People shouldn't talk about a dog's anatomy

Averages in the 80s men 22 to 35 was 1200. Today normal range is 290 to 700. Stupid.

I don't need a dose I'm assuming my levels were good. I'm sending the stuff I got to a lab to see wtf it is. Did not get mine from a doctor.
Once a week
23 gauge 1.5 inch 3cc needle. Not fun.
Be nice if testosterone was affordable. I can't afford it and I am hypogonadal. So I have to suffer with low t as I have for a decade now.
I think that doctors of my country are uneducated😅
