    I’m 20 exactly almost 21. My levels were tested at 260 unbelievably low. And I’ve felt it forever and glad I found this out. I could never lose weight unless I literally starved myself and could never gain muscle no matter how disciplined I am. Can’t wait to start treatment and see my life improve

    I hopped on TRT at 25 years old. I tried enclomiphene to boost my 367ng level but it didn’t work. TRT is a god send. Don’t be afraid of long term side effects- men die young anyways. Would you rather live 80 years as a fat fuck watching nfl all day or would you rather optimize and live life to the fullest for potentially 5 less years? Low T is detrimental to your health, much more than that of TRT.

      I'm not really aware of any evidence that TRT when done properly with your other things monitored, will shorten lifespan in humans. I've seen plenty of evidence that it is cardioprotective as long as your don't bring E2 down low and is metabolically healthier for you.

    I’m 24, I tested at 320. This year, my hair has thinned, my weight has skyrocketed, and I also have libido issues. I’ve been in great shape for a long time, I’ve lost all motivation to goto the gym because I’m physically so fatigued, i couldn’t even play 9 holes at golf. My doctor says I’m fine, and there’s nothing wrong. But truthfully I don’t think so. I don’t have a specialist near by who can take my insurance and if they do they are a month+ out. I just am so lost at the moment and I’ve been on every damn vitamin in the planet, I literally meal prep, and I also drink plenty of water as well. Interestingly, my fathers blood work came out at 258, at 56 years old. So I’m 1/2 his age and almost have the same level of testosterone. Interesting.

    I'm an older lifter and to me a lot of this low T in younger guys is there jobs and lifestyle. If you have a sedentary job, take 10 minute breaks to go walk or climb stairs. Do that part of your lunch break also. Yes there are some guys that have a medical issue. But I see a lot of young guys on UA-cam. Saying they need TRT but they are screwing up their bodies. Trying to stay lean 365 days a year to get girls and followers. Partying, not sleeping, eating like crap. All these things crash your bodies ability to produce testosterone and build muscle.
    In the gym work on progression. Meaning try to add a rep to at least 1 set, each workout. And do the big compound lifts first in your workouts, in whatever rep range you like. You can build strength and muscle with low reps or high reps. Don't do curls first. Do pull-ups or chin-ups first. Don't do leg extensions first, do squats or leg presses. 💪🏾

      Micro plastics man, they fucked up the sex hormones of an entire generation. We’re literally surrounded by artificially made estrogens in our day to day life. All these trans people and guys with no muscle and obesity isn’t just a coincidence. We’ve been fucked without even being able to control it. I workout and sleep well and eat well and still I feel the depressive and low energy effects of it.

    Phthalates in our environment from plastics have been shown to negatively effect testosterone. The fact that it has measurable effects on animals as well as humans suggests this is significant. I'm not ignoring the fact that most men make poor lifestyle choices with diet, sleep, and lack of exercise, but this is definitely a factor if you're otherwise healthy.

    I believe this trend of low testosterone in young lifters today stems from high cotrisol levels. Most of these guys have low totals but their free levels are normal. This shows that it's more a lifestyle thing rather than an underlying issue. Why do these young lifters have high cortisol??
    Simple answer.
    They're all pre-workout junkies. All these lifters are hooked on these pre-workout supps that have 400mgs of caff per scoop. THis amount of caff elevated adrenaline and cortisol so much, and the most messed up part is that these guys all think these supps are a crucial part of their supp stack. I'm not against caffeine or pre-workout at all. But if you take it, don't depend on it. I personally drink a cup of coffee a day and take pre only on those days i need to train and didn't have enough sleep the night prior. When I do take caffeine, I have some sort of a cortisol blocker with it. This could be theanine or ashwaghanda.
    Lastly, I believe there's this weird trend about testosterone, where the fitness and health industry want us young men to be obsessed with it so that we can go on trt. I predict in the next 10-15 yrs, young guys on trt will be as common as young women on birth control. Not to go into consipiracy territory, but the idea of society having a control on our hormones and ability to reproduce is super fishy.

      Possibly to do with the chronic stress of modern life compared to the acute stress of life in the past, which probably raised testosterone levels, if anything. Also the trt clinics are at least in part scams as you mention.

      I don't think this generation of men is anymore stressed than that of my dad's or before, but I think we expose ourselves to a lot more endocrine disruptors, whether its plastics, body sprays, poor food choices... I think the problem runs deeper than we might think

      @goatleaks4986 2 роки тому +2

      @@DaBrute I agree with you tbh. The things that my dad's generation went through was objectively more stressful. But I think guys of today, are physiologically in a more stressed state. Just think about. They eat like shit, stay up till 4am playing games, they down pre workout multiple times a day. Now, the realities they go through day to day are not as harsh or risky as the shit out dads went through, but still, physically guys of td are putting themselves in a state of high cotrisol which leads to low T production

    Im 24 and if for some reason I had low test the last thing I would do is get TRT. Look at your sleeping habits, diet, nutrition, and how much you physically exercise first. Make sure all of that is optimized and then if you still have symptoms go to a doctor and get your test done. Most men don’t have pituitary gland issues. Most men live shitty lifestyles and don’t optimize the best years of their life. If you exercise and eat right I bet most people would naturally get higher test.

If it’s below 400, god forbid in the 250-350 and your lifestyle is at least ok, hop on it. I guarantee most young men in 1950 did not have test levels of 300 or 350.

I’m 26 now and every urogloist I talk to practically mocks me and tells me it could never be my varicocele since it’s apparently small. I'm 39 and tested at 147 ng/dl in the morning when technically mens testosterone levels are supposed to be at their highest. Honestly I think that for some people such as myself our levels just run very low. Other than my testosterone levels being extremely low I'm in excellent health according to all my other health screenings. Having such low levels doesn't really make me feel so terrible as people describe. I do not really feel overly fatigued or feel weak or anything I'm sure it's not the same for everyone with levels as low as mine and I'm certain it's not good medically to be at 147ng/dl but it is what it is and I could always get the treatment but I'm not feeling at this moment in my life that it's worth the cost. To answer your question in my opinion some people just run extremely low and their bodies compensate for it. I'm not sure if this is the case with you but I'm certain it's the case with me.
