Hey Roy, I just changed out my master cylinder and cleaned out my brake booster just the way you showed and it worked flawlessly! Now I can make it home for Christmas! Thanks for the excellent video! 😎😎
I like your video the best because you actually show how easy it is to remove the master cylinder and not have to worry about the ABS block. Also, I love that I don't have to buy a bench bleed kit.
Hey Roy, I did it the way you did and it worked perfectly. I pulled a bunch of brake fluid out of my booster. Way more fluid than I thought would be in there. Thanks for the video.
Good information Roy My friend just replace the master and I don't think he checked for brake fluid in the booster because it was leaking out the back.
Hey roy i changed the master cylinder on my 2001 tacoma and vacuumed a lot of break fluid from the booster. Put everything together now my break pedal is really hard what did i do wrong ?
Roy I have a 2000 Chevy impala and my master cylinder has 4 brake lines running into it. My question is are the two on the side the line I have to bleed or the two on the bottom on the master cylinder?
Hi Roy, im not sure if my master brake is leaking theres a sign of dry marks of leak from the outside but ive been using this car for 7 years and the reservor is still pull maybe someone already replace this before? Any advice will help thanks
Hey unko great video, Helped me find where all my break fluid was goin! When replacing the master cylinder do you recommend replacing the gasket as well?
Hi, I'm Marco an Italian guy from Rome I have a Tacoma 3.4 v 6 4WD automatic from 2018 beautiful vehicle for a while I have a problem with the brakes the pedal when the brake becomes spongy and I can't find the brake pump in Italy you have some suggestions how to find the pump online? thank you
The booster has vacuum and the back of the master has rubber sesl. The seal is worn and the booster is sucking the brake fluid into the booster. Thanks for watching 🤙👍🤙
Brake fluid is horrible it will have embrittled and all sorts inside that plus the standard vac booster is only 140 skimping on this to save 140 now is not worth peace of mind when it comes to brakes
You’re absolutely not wrong BUT the customer didn’t want to replace it because they were planning on getting rid of the car within the year. Just a video showing there are options for people in that type of situation. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Question if you having a hard time removing the check valve can you wash out through the Mc mount opening
Thank you, so the leaking was caused by the master cylinder and not the booster correct?
Thank you Mr. Roy good job on explaining step by step this helped me out big time
Exactly what I intended to do! Thanks for watching!
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching 🤙🤙🤙
Very interesting video!!! Thank You Roy!!!
Good information Roy
My friend just replace the master and I don't think he checked for brake fluid in the booster because it was leaking out the back.
Tell him make sure he does, if you catch it early enough and take it out, it should be okay. Thanks for always watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
I’m doing the exact same job, except I replaced the booster I have no brakes at all
Had to do this this weekend. Search on Harbor Frieght for "Pneumatic Brake Fluid Bleeder", it was REALLY handy to suck out the fluid from the booster.
Definitely will look into it and Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Thanks for the video. Did u bleed the breaks as well or just the procedure u showed?
Do you adjust the gap on the master cylinder and the rod from the brake booster before installing a new brake booster?

I’m doing this now I took a hose duct taped it stuck it in my shop vac and sucked all the fluid out quickly.

Hey unko great video,
Helped me find where all my break fluid was goin!
When replacing the master cylinder do you recommend replacing the gasket as well?
No. If it's broken, no need to put a new one. You can bolt up the master without a gasket.

You can try Rock Auto
