- I must say, that with Livescope I might actually enjoy bottom bouncing with a Spinner now! It opens up a whole new level on ways to fish it and being able to see if you are getting rejected or if they are evening looking at it at all. So much fun!!

This is the best video I have seen for bottom bouncing.
Cheers! Thanks for the kind words!
Feels like you’re right on the boat lol
Hands down!
After showing my wife the cool underwater catch shot she said, “that is cool it makes you want to go fishing “. Bless you Clayton! Time to go fishing!
HAH!! Love it! Good luck out there!
Beauty video on bottom bouncing, Clay! I've always set my speed between 0.8 - 1.5 MPH, with my line at a 45 degree angle, approx 6" to 1ft off of bottom. I find that this always keeps the spinner spinning at optimum speed and the bait stays in the strike zone. If perfected, you can find/catch walleye on the slowest of days with this technique. The live view definitely puts a new spin on this method... No pun intended :). Great work as always! Keep it up.
That underwater camera footage of the eats were so cool
Appreciate you watching!
Yes to the Donkey shirts it’s a must have!!
This has got to be the coolest video in a while, very well done Clayton! Keep up the great content
Awesome way to fish! Love your videos.
Cheers!
This is the video I’ve been waitin for!!! Bottom bouncing is by far my most effective way of catching walleye
I do this a lot when I have my nephew on board. If we arent catching fish constantly he gets uninterested So having him watch the scope makes it more fun!
Keep them coming. Can’t wait for the next one.
Awesome video man! Loved it. Your content is always fantastic and I learn a ton from you.
That is so cool watching them bite with the under water camera! And also live scope catching them on a spinner rig! This video was awesome 👌 Clayton
Way to go catching one with the underwater camera!! The best "Donkey" on UA-cam!! Great video! So fun to watch!
Leading the way when it comes to camera angles . So interesting to see the effort to get those shots is much appreciated... 👍
Love the underwater shots! Keep them coming!
Enjoyed that one!!
This is awesome!
Never fished for Walleye but now I need to go find myself some! Good work Clayton
Awesome stuff bro...
I'm a bottom bouncer guy and this video was awesome. There are a few Strike Vu videos out there, but using the Livescope with this technique is new to me. You should def do more of it. Cheers
Thanks Clayton. Never fished this method
Cheers!
Great video! Lots of fun to watch!
Cheers!
Another informative and entertaining video. Thanks Clayton
Cheers!
I started doing this last fall when I got live imaging... it definitely makes it more interesting than just mindlessly trolling around
It is fun to watch!
Super cool to see how many are following.
You seem to make any style you fish entertaining for us to watch!
Try my best!
I always like the underwater view. Amazing video
It is fun to watch them!
Great video Clayton! Thanks for straying into the less glamorous side. Bottom bouncing is definitely clutch on The struggle bus days😅. I find when I'm getting blanked on spinners often slow death presentations 10 to shine. Northland makes a nice one that has a half smiley blade to help it stand out and I find they work fantastic!
Very welcome! There is no doubt it is effective!
Absolutely love this video that's so sick with the live imaging! Would love to see some smallmouth action soon! Keep it up!
Hopefully this fall!
That was awesome underwater camera footage!!
I will try to do some more of it in the future :)
Excellent camera work Clayton really enjoyed it
Thank you! Cheers!
Clayton shick outdoors is the shit
Best fishing channel out there hands down!
Appreciate the kind words!
I feel you I live in Manitoba too and it’s rained like almost every day. Tough to do anything this way.
The weather has been brutal for filming!
great video and nice fish , thank you for showing us donkey lol
Great video! Appreciate your hard work! New subscriber!
Appreciate you watching the videos!
Hi Clay worm harness when trolled are an excellent way to cover lots of ground while hopefully putting a few in the in the live well. Then when located jig becomes the way to go. Cool technology shown.
Love the 1 - 2 punch! :)
Awesome
Excellent video. Not that number of fish in my local Michigan lakes.
I do appreciate the 1 oz. per ten feet of water rule. Livescope sure is fun. I love mine!
Sure is fun to watch!
love the video of the bottom bouncer!, just curious how fast your setting your trolling motor for? awesome content!
Ill stop sending so much line out and give it another try. Thanks Clayton.
Ya try to just get your lure like 1-2 feet off bottom :)
Keren cara kerja nya kak. Terima kasih mau berbagi..
Feels like I’m in the boat with ya lol
That was a great video with the live imaging - very sharp images.
What livescope system are you using - what generation?
Great video! How fast were you going?
Great video Clayton. Try a single slow death hook on your crawler harness, made a big difference for me in hook ups and retention. I would also love the see a video of a slow death hook vs. the standard 2 hook rig.
I will keep this in mind!
How do you set your live scope transducer to see both the bouncer rig and fish at the same time
Another banger of a video Clayton! I know. Bottom bouncing isn’t the most entertaining way to catch fish, but can produce high amounts of fish
Agreed!
Cool to see the fish hanging on the edge of the weeds
Agreed!
Awesome vid. I’m a bottom bouncing fanatic. I tried a a jig and a minnow the other day. Meh kinda worked.
I love Jig N Minna :)
Another gem Clayton. I've found the day bite to be pretty tough lately, even with a bottom bouncer spinner rig. Have Livescope as well and all the walleye do is follow and then turn away. Frustrating. For me its been a 630PM and later bite with a Shiver Minnow.
Very interesting!
HEY! Hello CLayton!!
Hi Richard!
Yes!! When in doubt, bottom bouncer and spinner gets it done! I've been wanting to try watching it on the livescope too, glad to know it works so well!! Thanks for the video!! 🙌
Just out of curiosity, is there any reason you prefer to reel with your right hand with baitcaster style reels, even though you cast and hold the rod with your right hand? 🤔
I just feel a lot of fish are lost when you have to switch hands then reel. 🤷♂️
I don't loose fish when I switch :) Just the way I have always fished. I can also cast a bait caster over both shoulders.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors 👍👍
Have you ever tried a slow death hook on your spinner? Seems like that’s all I can get them to bite on.
I have used it yes :)
Are you in Ontario somewhere? I couldn’t believe how many fish you went through on the camera. Makes me wonder how often I’m going through that many of them.
Dude awesome awesome stuff! Question, do you think this would work with the PS22? Do you think the bouncer was spooking them? Thanks!
Yes, should work with the PS22 and I don't think it was spooking them I just think they were in a negative mood.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors thank you!! Yes, we have been doing similar with a 3/16oz bullet weight and spinner. It is boring but when we burn it through the weeds they come unglued and strike!
are you on landscape mode?
Maybe troll faster to triger the reaction bite or just use crawler with a slowdeath hook. Awesome view from our graphics... first time I see that. 💪
"DEADLY" maybe that rattle is spooking them? they should be crushing the spinner rig, its CANANDA EH!!
Hey Clayton, I gotta ask you a question man. The lake we fish here in North Dakota is about 5,100 acres, a reservior. Its a good walleye lake as there is a walleye tourney every year. At what size do you keep walleyes to eat, we keep 15 -17 inches, and is it a good thing for a walleye population to take the bigger ones out, like say 19 inches and bigger? Thanks man, have enjoyed your content for years.
I like to keep 16-19 myself. The bigger ones are better left for trophy and spawning potential :)
I see that forest fire was behind you. Does that effect the fishing?
So forward live image, not down. Would be nice if you went through your live image settings as many /myself get a lot of garbage and noise on screen.
Yes Forward faced backwards :) I will try do to some settings in the future :)
What live imaging are you using?
Got it Garmin 👍
You should do a Barbie rod challenge
What reel are you using? Thanks
300 Tekota LC
Any news on Mr Wiebe? Would love to see a combo video with him.
Also my "here fishy" quote is "i just wanna look at ya, then ill let you go bud"
Haven't spoke with him for close to a year now.
You're right. Never bottom bounced a spinner until this year. Not the most fun way to fish.
Nope but it works!!
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Live imaging would help a bunch, true.
You will catch more fish on a slow death hook and a single bead than a spinner 9/10. But bottom bouncers can really get into walleye
I hear ya!
❤️👊💪🎣
I bet minnows would be better than crawlers up there
Likely!
Id wear a shirt that says Clayton is a donkey
HAH!! Love it!
Clayton, you donkey. 😊
YES!!
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors I have to be honest, I don't know where donkey comes from, or what it means, but I liked how you said that you only say donkey to people you like. So, I like you, you donkey.
yea, this is the only way i can troll now of days. Way too boring without livescope.
Agreed!
Man…. Dial in that focus! You’re missing out on details with your stitching on the bottom.
Feel like the settings were not that bad? I would rather see more than less. I admit I am still learning it though.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors definitely not bad at all. Manual focus will get rid of that dead zone where you couldn’t quite see the fish hit the spinner. When properly focused you shouldn’t see any “steps” on bottom where the beams meet.
Yikes. Video of livescoping.
