You're by far the absolute best at breaking it all down for the beginner all the way to the pros. out there. And even tho the "pros" won't admit it, you're definitely educating them as well. I was kinda on the fence about the di and you absolutely sold me on getting it now. Thank you for giving up some of your secrets! Not many guys out there willing to give it up like you do.

Tom, another great video. Thanks again for taking the time to record these spots on side imaging, down imaging, sonar and the camera. It really helps to see all the electronics come into play to show you what is down there. Reading and interpreting my electronics is the most valuable skill I can use, and your videos are extremely helpful in that regard. Thanks.

Great videos for walleye keep up the good work. My favorite part of summer is fishing at family cottage for walleye. Found perfect spot on the lake I constantly hit walleye and big bass. I avoided all the areas people normally fish and have had more luck. What else you suggest I use for catching walleye. I usually use leeches and have the most luck. In a week I'll go through a few dozen leeches and you suggest just tying hook to line and avoid using a clasp for the lure

Using a No. 9 jointed floating Rapala. It says it will sink to 4 feet, depending upon its speed of retrieving it. Is that 4 foot it sinks to derived at in any straight line????
Say you attached it to a 25lb. Downrigger ball, at 40ft. down, will that rapala sink to 44ft. Or will it stay in line with the DR ball????

I have recently been steered to your channel and have just tried to absorb as much great info as I can! I grew up walleye fishing as a kid on one of your favorite Hayward Lakes. I have a Humminbird Helix 5 DI & SI gen 2 along with an older Lowrance LMS 520C. I can't seem to find the pods of fish that you showcase. I've tried 3 different times and just can't find them. How do you start fishing if you can't find what you are looking for? I always grew up being taught to look for weeds and structure but not worry about graphing fish. What are your thoughts? Keep up the great work with the informative videos. I have learned more from you in the last month or so that I never new was a "thing" in walleye fishing than in the rest of my life. As a note, I have been able to pick up a couple small walleyes and a perch with the jiggin' rap, but just can't find any pods. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for all of your information!

If my lake has no humps.....should I be looking for any drop off? My lake has one deep basin, surrounded by 2 flats and a bay. Got one 30 ft flat that's clean, one 5-8 ft deep flat loaded with weeds, and a weedy bay around 4-5 ft deep. The basin is like 90 feet down. I have so much trouble finding walleyes, and get only like 1-2 per year, but they always perfect eaters or over 25". Would love some help with this lake.
