Why did you choose to show them footage of Aten (A Mythological Afterlife from a DLC) in Assassin's Creed Origins instead of an actual city in the base game? I feel like that choice really misrepresents the game's adherence to accuracy.
I said the same thing to myself, also in odessey, they started with a generic fortres istead of Athens or any other iconic place. They need to work more in the game footage.
@@victorcatalanp.1162 They also mentioned AC Odyssey was set during the Etruscan period. Now either she messed up her history or she was told it was but either way that is entirely incorrect. Odyssey was set during the Peloponnesian War (The war between Spartans and Athens) in Greece about 100 years after the end of Etruscan period (The Etruscans were in Italy not Greece). They should've shown Sparta or Athens, not some random fortress that may or may not even be a real fortress. They should've also shown the city of Alexandria or a small village along the Nile for Origins. Hell, show Cleopatra and her house or something.
Were these AC videos recorded for architects to react to? If so why is the player running around like crazy? Just walk around and show off the architecture so they can get a good look at them.
They don't record it but it really would make the series better if they recorded their own footage, they already have videos playing games with the marines so we know they could.
@@justanotheranimeprofilepic Uplay+ 15 bucks a month and would give them access to all of these games, it's not that expensive considering they probably make decent money on each of these videos
that's how you know that they are experts who know what they are talking about. "Is that Greek architecture?" asked the architect another architect who never offers an answer because he to is asking himself the same thing
You should get them to play some of the discovery tours from assassins creed. Assassin's Origins Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla all have them. They are museum like guided tours where the player is free to walk around, explore, and interact with the world free of danger (Enemies and combat is disabled in this mode) all while taking optional guided tours where the game teaches you about the time period and the cultures, lifestyles, and sometimes architecture of the area
It's almost as if Gamology is absolutely terrible. I really like some of their videos but the rest are ridiculous and don't actually show the guests what is going on.
Of all the experts react series, I find these architect ones suffer the most from lack of direction. It's a great idea but never seems to pan out the way the others do where the experts give us insight to what they're seeing, feedback to accuracy or thoughts on possibly being impressed by something. The gameplay doesn't match what would be the most suitable for them to digest nor do they seem to have enough info about the game prior to going into the video. So we end up with unanswered questions, speculation and tangents instead of organic reaction and commentary. Just a thought.
Graphics settings of the game should definitely be set to higher, and fog removed - it obscures most of the town when doing eagle view. And yeah, definitely not a good footage for showcase. Should have shown the buildings while running - camera CAN view higher, c'mon.
I think they should show them gameplay someone is actually playing rather than pre-recording, that way they can focus on what most interests them or what they have to talk about
Those experts are really cool, but people choosing footage are just throwing in random stuff. It could've been much better - there's London in syndicate and older version in Valhalla, there's Paris in Unity and older version in Valhalla, Odyssey has Athens, Origins has Alexandria and monumental aqueducts. There's just so much cool architecture in those games, instead were looking at pieces co led together from UA-cam.
I feel like you guys need to play the game yourself and record it, just walk around historical stuff and around the city and such. You showing them some guy just running like crazy, hanging and jumping around, is hard for them to actually appreciate the damn city. Is not hard guys..
Assassins Creed 3 starts off at the year 1754 in the first chapters. Then time skips to the real protagonist during 1770+ , one of the later missions did involve that protagonist participating in the Boston Tea party.
Would've been fun to not tell them and see if they can workout the time period then tell them after. Not really difficult to work out most of the AC game's time periods.
the world/level designers at ubisoft are great. Even if the worlds are bland for some games or if the stories are lacking, but the worlds/levels always look amazing and believeable
The facing, originally composed of fine Turah limestone stones, has almost completely disappeared. Only a few blocks remain at the level of the bases of the Cheops pyramid, resting on the stones of the platform. The fine limestone of Tourah was indeed a material of choice reused by the quarries of the Middle Ages, in particular to build the mosque of Sultan Hassan between 1356 and 1362.
I wish they would just show footage of the characters walking around and actually looking at the buildings and not have them run around. What's the point of an architecture video if you can barely see any of the buildings for more than 2 seconds?
Man I wish there was an actual third person that kinda presents the game, plays it in front of them and answers their questions.... like for AC3 it would have been dope to explain to them that you can explore new york and boston...

I can't evict to think we use less animals and plants in modern architecture because we are far more disconnected from nature, as history shows back then they lived day to day around nature, wish we gained some of that again on our modern lifes ✌
Uh no , the only people who had the choice of incorporating animals in the architecture of their houses were nobles and they certainly weren't connected with nature.
You guys need to hire someone to just walk around and explore in these games, because the architects have so much useless knowledge that doesn't get to be fully expressed because of a lack of direction and slow enough footage to really look at the environments.

Istanbul? Paris? why the player jump around like problematic? just make moves to show details. They literally put their best to see some decent footages
The areas/gameplay they used for Origins and Odyssey especially were atrocious choices. But they weren't much better for the others. Severe lack of views of the cities (from high vantage points or otherwise), unfocused camera (probably cause they keep entering combat) and way too much traversal through little alleys where you can't see anything but the walls around you. Also this person has no traversal skill. And at least try to direct the architectures through it a bit by telling them what country/city/town it's supposed to be if they couldn't guess it.
They showed a previous set of architects Unity about 2 years ago. But they also showed them Origins which they show in this one too so they could've shown it again. They already showed these architects Notre Dame from Unity in this video: ua-cam.com/video/FHpElFtl61k/v-deo.html

A cordial greeting to you!!...No one better than you, to analyze this incredible singer who is leaving all the experts, literally with their jaws on the floor (Do you remember Jim Carrey's movie "The Mask"? well, just like that)...In 2017, a 22-year-old singer from Kazakhstan, named Dimash Kudaibergen, was invited to participate in the famous Chinese program for professional singers called "The Singer"... In his first appearance, Dimash covered one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse"...Since then all this madness began on the internet, UA-cam and social networks worldwide and he is already considered the best singer on the entire planet... It is almost impossible to see a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges of 8 octaves, that is, the 88 keys of a digital piano, which allows him to reach all registers, both masculine and feminine, that is, he can sing as Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Contratenor, Contralto, Mezzosoprano and Soprano...You can see in UA-cam to all kinds of experts (Vocal coaches, analysts, singing teachers, singers, youtubers, reactors, etc.), who have dedicated themselves to watching his videos and verifying for themselves that what is said about him is completely true...In addition to all this, Dimash is capable of singing in more than 12 languages...In all his concerts worldwide, tickets are sold in just seconds, via the internet, due to the immense popularity he has worldwide... Anyway, I think you haven't met this impressive singer yet, so here is the link to the first song that Dimash performed in China in that year 2017, the song S.O.S., and if it doesn't bother you, I would like you to mention me as the person who recommended it to you...Warning: You have to be prepared for thousands of views, comments and new subscribers...The video It is more recent, so it does not have the millions of views that the first ones, but it is more complete, including an intro, subtitles in several languages and better audio and sound quality.....ua-cam.com/video/bDX3FhmyNac/v-deo.html
