HITMAN 3 is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy and the culmination of a spy-thriller story that started in 2016. The entire trilogy can be played within HITMAN 3 and it is the perfect time for new players to enter the critically acclaimed World of Assassination.
It introduces new features, weapons, and gameplay opportunities to make
HITMAN 3 an incredible end to the trilogy. On top of their signature sandbox
locations and unique puzzle gameplay, developers added a new multi-function camera, new ways to interact with the world, a ‘persistent shortcuts’ system, new post-mission rankings, a unified progression system, and a full-blown VR Mode.
HITMAN 3 is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy and takes players around the world on a globetrotting adventure to sprawling sandbox locations. Agent 47 returns as a ruthless professional for the most important contracts of his entire career.
Supported by his Agency handler, Diana Burnwood, 47 joins forces with his
long-lost friend Lucas Grey. Their ultimate mission is to eliminate the partners of Providence, a secret agency, but they are forced to adapt as their hunt intensifies. When the dust settles, 47 and the world he inhabits will never be the same again.

For those wondering why he isn't locked up, he was. He was a Gambino crime family associate who eventually became a government witness agreeing to testify against the family. He plead guilty to 2 murders, racketeering and some other charges and got sentenced to 10 years in prison. Alite has estimated that he shot between 30 to 40 people, beat about 100 people with a baseball bat, and killed six people. Later in life, Alite publicly denounced the life of organized crime and became a motivational speaker, podcaster and books author.

    The meme came true!
From what I've read, some hitmen did use garottes as they are cheap, available, and silent, but his concerns are obviously valid...
Apparently, some hits were really messy with baseball bats and crowbars. Again, it was about cheap weapons that do not raise too many concerns when acquired but getting out without blood on your hands... Even an ice-pick or sharpened screwdriver would be better, IMHO (they were used too, and are cheaper and more concealable).
In Mexico, one hitman loved to kill his targets with hand grenades. Yes, it didn't matter to him, if the target was in a crowd! What makes grenades great is that they are self-destructing weapons.
The craziest hit I've heard of was a bomb on a plane taking out over 200 civilians as collateral!
PS: as cool as silenced pistols and sniper rifles are, acquiring them is risky and you'd hate having to ditch them after the hit to get through a police curtain...

I like that he acknowledged that some of this stuff is played up for the sake of it being a game but also has a level of realism. That being said, that is very scary that there is a level of realism like that this man acknowledged.
