New Tie Rod Set from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASF...
The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms. This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2008-12 Jeep Liberty.

Great video and perfect editing. Straight to the point and easy to follow!
What is that vise grip monkey wrench your using?
This is honestly perfect and straight to the point. Good job mate.
Can anyone tell me what sort of large wrench is being used in this video. It looks somewhat like a pipe wrench, but is lockable. Looks like a handy tool.
Never mind, I figured it out. For anyone else, it's a Swedish pipe wrench.
Thanks for the informative content, after viewing this, I tackled this on both sides and the tips you gave made the job painless, my measurements were 1 and 3/4 inches also. I own a 2005 Jeep liberty Rocky mountain edition. I have been installing almost entire front end with TRQ parts, and no complains whatsoever. Thanks again for the informative video.
Great video!
Would the pliers that you used and the removal of the inner be the same as a 2006 Jeep Commander?
Thank you!
How did the joint at the end of the tie rod get magically replaced (where the castle nut is)?
Brand new tie rod end. More than likely they have a video for that.
Thanks for this. Was trying to find good video for thre eep patriot but only one u saw was bad. I bought a tie rod tool but i like your tool that you are using better. Hopefully the liberty is similar to patriot.
