For those trying this after seeing Aydan's video. I'm on W10 x64 and had issues. To solve them, you need to go into your BIOS and disable secure boot before you commit to the filter on device step. There's some security signing or whatever that wasn't done by the app developer so this version of windows will reject the driver unless you have secure boot disabled. What's funny is all the videos of people setting their polling rate on Xbox controller to 1000 and not checking the response time afterwards to notice that even attempting to change the polling rate actually impacts the response time in a negative way reducing it by 25% from 120hz to around 80-90hz. Then the guy in the video is like "I've been completely pwning noobs with this overclock!" not realizing his controller is now objectively worse..
So we’re making the USB connection check more often to see if there has been a change or updated instruction. Linus did a video comparing the two connections years ago and there were some competitive players who intentionally played with the ps2 Mouse because they said it felt faster. actually the diffrence between usb and ps2, USB gets refreshed every "tick" by the cpu to check if there was a signal sent, PS2 in the other side sends the signal to the cpu saying "hey i clicked here" instantly, making it faster for sure, there's adapters (usb to ps2) and the mouse should be working if u use that :3
it's only faster if you have a weak cpu. if you are not an esports player with immaculate reflexes, you will hardly notice the difference between PS/2 and USB

i have the same question did u get the ans?
@@meerabdulnadeem5714 To be honest, I can’t really tell the difference between having it plugged in and having it connected via Bluetooth.. i’ve been playing for the past month is my controller connected to Bluetooth, so my plan is to for the next couple of weeks to play with the controller plugged in to see the difference
@slitt After a few months, connected is the way to go to get that .5 millisecond speed for sure
Worked for my controller and my mouse and keyboard which were already 1000hz 0.5ms b interval 1
Hi, my controller does not show up when I hit all. Help?
I came here because of the Crim interview when Paco says he loves your overclock video 😂
mine says 5 and doesnt give me the option to be able to change it

you got a new sub fam. preesh.
I run into trouble in the filter step. It gives me an error and won’t let me turn on the filter when I try to install it
I have the red color on the controller stripe and no number on bitinterval, why
I get a warning sign and it turns red. My blnterval disappeared and child names disappeared
same
Same here anyways to fix this
@@justinduran4438 same happened to me, you just have to click Restart, unplug and plug back in and looks like it fixed for me
its because when you press "filter on device" it may give you a pop up. If so, first, go into device manager and uninstall your controller then unplug and plug it back in. You then just have to go into your bios and disable "secure boot/startup". It worked for me
@@iitchyboto isn't disabling the secure bootstrap dangerous in some occasions? do i activate it again after overclocking my controller
Thanks man it worked instant on my elite 2 controller.
did you set it to 1000? I have read a couple people online say it cant be put to 1000
@@jjk7751 yes follow the video
ty this helped so much
was anyone else having a problem on that final step ? after i check off the filter on device box. The device name column was highlighted pink with no milla sec response time number !
Do you know how to fix it, it happened to me
How do u fix
go to settings > devices > "devices and printers" > right click ur controller > properties > now kinda tricky but nps > go to each driver and make sure to open it with "open changes or something like that "> window will pop > click drivers.. and enable that device
you might haave to check for all the drivers and make sure it's enabled it should work

I'm getting an error when I'm trying to filter on device? Thoughts?
yeaaa me too i dont know what to do
Same and i cant change the number from 4 to 1, he says make sure to change it but i cant and he doesnt explain how
@@oGenixOfficial look on ur bios and see if u have secure boot on and if so turn it off and then try it and see 🙃
do you know how to fix this
this didn't work for me. I kept getting warnings from windows then after I installed everything it was red and the bInterval didn't change.
I keep getting a warning not to do it when I check the filter box. . And some kind of code. Anyone else?
yeah same and then red box and my box one controller wont sync
Same!!! let me know if y’all figure it out
@@KashMoneyKhan07 Yeah like others users, i found out how to restart surface pro 4 laptop to get to bios menu and disabled secure boot, that made the process go smoothly just like the video shows, with a green bar instead of red.. but when all said and done, i didn't notice any significant gameplay input lag improvement. so then i reset my controller by unchecking the filter on box and stuff, then restarted and enabled secure boot again... big waste of time and i have given up on trying to fix lag time, i just minimized screen resolution and used a wired USB connection for box one controller
to pc
I got it to work at .5 ms but in all honest I bought a better USB adapter to get it there not using factory motherboard Bluetooth. I also bought the Xbox elite series 2 controller and used it with the new USB and it feels exactly the same as my DS4 battle beaver at .5ms, better in my opinion. I ended up deleting the program because it just seemed to sketchy for such a small difference. I need to make a video on the elite controller this thing is fire. Especially with the tension adjustment on the joystick.
do you need to leave the program open
when I used a polling rate tester on my xbox one controller after overclocking it stays at a 7ms average, but when I overclock my PS4 controller it averages .50 ms, so why doesn't the overclock work on the xbox controller?
same thing happened to me.. been reading everywhere that the hardware inside the Xbox controller is set and stuck at 7-8ms /: once I found that out I said fuck it and bought a ps4 scuf and it’s so much better.. wish it worked on Xbox controllers though /:
Subbed for this
for my xbox controller, i can't get it to filter and it has a 4 binterval
I have the same problem
i’m having the same problem on my elite controller only works if i uncheck “filter on devices”
A video I didn't know I needed. Thanks brother!
