For those who are using a ps5 controller, after doing the 1000 do 8000 and then disconnect and reconnect controller. it worked for me! ty

Perfect video, everything works just fine. If you are having issues with your ps5 controller bInterval being stuck at for do this: 8000 > Install service > Unplug then replug your controller back in. Should work flawlessly!

For anyone having error code 577, unplug your controller, take a pin or a paper clip and reset your controller by pressing it into the small top right hole on the back of your controller which is the reset button and holding it there for like 10 seconds. This worked for me and allowed me to overclock it without the error popping up. If you did click yes when the error popped up and messed up your driver, uninstall the damaged driver in Device Manager on your PC and then plug your controller back in
What’s the damage file name? Where do I find that in device manager?
im having an issue where the controller thing on the overclocking software it shows red, no Binterval and no child name???
so i couldve done this instead of factory resetting my pc...

For those who dont know you'renot actually overclocking your controller,whats being overclocked is the USB port...You cant take the controller and plug it to your console it wont be overclocked,only that port which the controller was plugged into on the PC will be overclocked... So make sure to plug your controller to that specific USB port when playing...

@@pedroguerreiro2337 I'm assuming so since it's the USB port that's being overclocked whatever you plug to that port it should have the same effect on the device…. Try it and see

Where do i find the secure boot
For anyone still looking for a solution to red colored box and controller not working after this, in windows 11:
1. Open the registry editor on W11 (regedit).
2. Go to this path "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Policy".
3. Add a new DWORD (32-bit) value, name it "UpgradedSystem" and leave the value on 0.
4. Restart PC
5. Follow the usual steps to overclock your controller as you did on W10.

I have a doubt, if I OC my control, the configuration is saved in the control or in the PC? I say this because if I want to go to a lan event I have to do these same steps on the new pc?

Common errors I found fixes to:
1. If you are getting errors disable secure boot in your bios.
2. If you are on ps5 and you're interval is stuck at 4. Try using 8000 instead of 1000.

Works good for me i use a mouse and a ps3 navigation controller instead of a keyboard. 1000 is the polling rate which is how many times it reports info usually it is 250 i believe.
Are you directly plugged into your pc with the navigation controller? Or do you use something like a XIM apex to be able to use a mouse and navigation controller?

@@terrancejones3135no one will be able to tell the difference between 1ms and 5ms delay in a blind AB comparison, but worth doing as you are still faster
note: you only need to hit install service once. installing the service is just linking the program to your usb driver for the controller allowing the program to modify the values.

Is there any other way of doing this? I followed every step but when i go to press on devices, all of a sudden it crashes and says "not responding". It happens every time and i have no other way of overclocking my controller.

@@Aalejandre2410 i have unfortunately not been able to fix it yet, i just switched the usb inport on my pc for my controller cable and i've not been bothered to try again lmfao
FOR EVERYONE WITH ANY ERRORS WHEM OVERCLOCKING. Go to Lqwid’s channel and watch his overclock tutorial he shows you how to bypass the annoying error that you get. And if you messed up that usb/your controller it’ll bring it back to normal when you follow his step.

When pressing "install service" the "open file" popup where you hit "open" would not appear. I had followed all steps correctly. I uninstalled winrar and extracted the files through windows. This solved my issue. If you are having trouble, uninstall winrar.

yo i havw windows 10 but it happened to me because i didnt disable it so judt go to devices and then click on your controller and click remove and then just plug it back in
i wish someone would mention how this doesnt work on xbox controllers.... you can overclock it but if you download an input tester or even play a game youll notice its stuck at 7ms due to the factory hardware in the xbox controllers. xbox controllers stuck at 7ms and ps controller can get down to literally 0ms.... its a no brainer i had to cop a playstation controller
Yeah, and also I wish people asked if you needed to be connected through usb or if you can do it via wireless connection. I thought my problem was that my controller was connected via bluetooth and not wired. But it might be because it's an xbox controller like you said, or it's just both.
@@chobyghee1593 You should never use bluetooth connection on your controller regardless. Bluetooth itself causes slight input delay
There 0 ms is fake. In reality is sub 1 ms. But there is more to it than that. High polling rates actually hurt more than they help. But no one will ever think to try other wise. If u know u know

@@ehonda8848 its physics man. The analog sticks can only do a 1000 hz. Stuffing the controller with higher polling rates will just cause delay. Placebo works wonders. People get horny when they c the zeros lmao

Seems to have worked on my Scuf Instinct controller for Xbox. I was skeptical because I heard normal Xbox controllers weren't overclockable but it felt like a big difference to me. Doesn't seem to work very well on my Turtle Beach Recon though, rate goes to 1000 but Bintervals stay the same. Might help a little bit but idk

@@thomasebbs8506 ps4 controller max overclock is 1.0ms(1000hz), ps5 max overclock is around 0.5ms-1ms (8000hz-1000hz) and varies dependent on cord and usb port used, xbox max overclock is 4ms(250hz)

Found out.. you do not need to do it again after overclocking it will always be over locked unless you reset the controller

By default you have to open it everytime BUT you can go to the ds4 options and enable (checkmark) " Run at Startup "

Yeah you do need the controller plugged in.. What your doing is actually overclocking the USB on your PC not the controller..So you need the controller to be plugged in so the software can ID what port the controller is plugged into...

I went from a 1.5 kd to 2.30 kd just by overclocking my controller
READ THIS: YOU must disable SECURE BOOT AND MEMORY INTEGRITY (If your pc has enhanced security in windows 11) in order to overclock your controller. Is it worth your pc being at a risk from malware? Secure boot maybe not but memory integrity is a pretty big leap from microsoft in security features. So basically play on a pc with more input lag and more security or less security and less input lag.
My computer was crashing with memory integrity off
