If u have a ps5 controller and u dont see it, In the DS4Windows settings tab under DEVICE OPTIONS make sure the "DualSense Controller Support" box is enabled. For some reason this isnt enabled by default. Reconnect the controller and it should work.

If you cant find your Ps5 controller in DS4 Windows. Head over to settings -> device options and press Dualsense.

@@sparkitup531 but that's 4x 125Hz which is the default in my mouse . Some mouse can even be over locked to 2000/4000 hz . Depends on mouse model .
This the second pack that didn’t work for me I tried using your timer resolution pack and got to the power shell part with prime 95 running In the background and would get a lot of errors to the point I had to reset the pc and I did all the steps then when I downloaded this pack and attempted to extract files for some reason it won’t let me your prep folder is empty as if it didn’t extract properly and I have no idea why

Ok, so I did everything you've mentioned in the video, everything seems to work just fine, DS4 says I have a 0.5 rate. I want to use it to play EA FC25 which is a Steam game, should I disable the emulation from there cuz i've heard it adds input lag.

U can close it. It's going to be overlcocked everytime now even if you restart. But it's only going to be on YOUR computer, and ONLY on the USB port that you have the controller plugged in while you did the overclocking.
Basically remember that the overclock is linked to the USB port. If you switch USB ports , your controller won't be overclocked anymore. Doesn't matter though, if you want you can just overclock your controller on every USB port if that's a issue, but for me it's not. Most people only use the same USB port for their controller anyway
when i open the Xinputtester, it says "Error! Player 1 - XBOX 360 Controller Not Found!" and my ps4 controller is plugged in and everything plz help

overclocking this, is causing FPS drops.. I was steady on 144fps and now it's down to 110fps and drops to 60fps any solution?

it's bec it forces ur cpu to run at 1000hz
it won't work with 2 cores cpus like i3 8100 it will cause fps drops
try to get at least R5 5600G to improve ur overclocking experience
when extracting, the prep file does get installed,, error

For some reason Asus ROG Strix motherboards (B550-f Gaming Wifi I, II, & Non-Wifi) w/ my 5800x3d, my ds4 is at 1.95ms (500hz) default when using cpu ports but is at the correct default speed 3.95ms (250hz) when using chipsets. The chipset feels smoother when both ports are at 1000hz. Any idea why my cpu ports are at 1.95ms/500hz default?
that audio tip for the controller is clutch. been so annoying my mic switching to that when i plug the controller in. ill be landing into warzone before i realize its controller mic

get the gamesir g7 se if you want the lowest delay or a ps5 controller you can overclock the ps5 to 8000hz

You always have to unplug and plug back in for it to read properly and taking a ps5 controller to 8000 doesn’t hurt anything at all!!
When I overlock mine too 8000hz my fps gets cut in half
@@hi-gs6gv then you have bigger issues cause mine and several other people have it to 8000 and I’m still getting well over 250+fps
8000 been tested , it just reads inputs twice. Only overclock to 1000hz.

Im playing rocket league on a semi-pro level and overclocking my ps5 to 8000 hz is actually better than 1000hz. it doesnt make my game stutter or anything.
Placebo, watch the video and test for yourself as to how its not 8000hz.
@@Xilly I have mine overclocked at 8000 Hz and my latency is lower or at least i feel a difference on 8000 than 1000. Do you know why?

You guys didn’t even watch the vid, just try overclocking anything over 1000hz and run the xinput test, you will see you it’s still 1000hz. Only thing that changes is more stress on the cpu which can cause perfomance issues and placebo.
Did the test myself with the ps5 controller on 8k, still 1000hz

no it doesnt, ds4 windows is what causes fps drops for some people, you also need to disable secure boot in your bios, which this guy didnt mention.

You can also test the delay right inside of ds4 windows all you have to do is go to edit and controller reading I get 0.4/0.5 on my ps4 controller
