if it wasnt becasue we live in a time where every new generation is dumber than the one before, rolex would have closed shop in the 90s!
but in these times you just have to price your product higher than the competition and the generations with no self respect will buy it as a status symbol (on credit)
rolex has become the ultimate symbol of bad taste!

The silver dial motif is incredible! Is it actually silver? Looks like a lot of gold reflection which is beautiful? Does the light dance off the dial as you can see in the video in reasonable low light or does it lose it’s luster in low light?
The entire watch bounces light like it is New Year every second of the day 😎🤠👍 This entire video was shot with natural light - no artificial light except in the obvious lume shots where it goes from pitch black to light and back. In the store they look even better, but that is partly due to the insane spot lights they have set up ;-)

I own this particular model and it’s called a silver diagonal motif but may actually look champagne or a gold hue in certain light . It is a stunner and I highly recommend it. It’s hard to go wrong with any of them . This one is discontinued

Until you try it on in person. The 70k price tag does not warrant the very underwhelming platinum finish that does not shine/sparkle under either natural or artificial light

I have noticed this with a few collector friends , it seems... inevitable? :-) At the very least they try a vintage one, if not a new one.

The yellow gold of Rolex is actually (and surprisingly nice) warmer in person than you would expect for it to be. I love it.
