This video made my heart skip! Thank, thank you for in depth care for pothos! My pothos is my Garrett plant. I received him when our son passed 14 years ago and have kept my fingers crossed keeping him with me all this time. He was my only plant until I started gardening last year and that leapt into my house with houseplants this summer. I have learned SO MUCH from you and LOVE your channel! This is by far my most treasured and beloved plant and you have helped me so much more than google ever has in understanding him more!❤️ Sorry for the gush/ramble, but this one made my heart happy!🥰

Thank you for such a beautiful comment. 💚 I'm truly sorry that you lost your son. I think it's amazing that you have kept him growing with you.
Yes, once you get into plants, they start popping up all over the place. Haha I'm so glad I could help you in your plant journey! 💚💚💚

Very good care advice. Jade pothos is my favourite (I'm generally not a big fan of variegation). For some reason it's almost impossible to come by here in Europe. I had the fairly rare opportunity to buy a few cuttings last year and am looking forward to seeing them fill the pot and start trailing.

Thank you so much! I'm sure your cuttings will fill out fast. You know what, I actually don't see the jade for sale too often either. I think sellers think they can make more from a variegated plant so they don't bother with them. I found a bit of a jade plant stuck in with a different variety so I chopped it and propagated it, love it!

Also like to grow out of aquariums but don't let them get big if you have a planted tank as they'll suck up all the nutrients and leave nothing for the aquatic plants, they also do well in semi-hydro. I have a few aureum varieties but my (new) fav is n-joy only had it for a month or so and it's being super finicky dropped leaves, no growth. But it's winter and we like it around 18 degrees during the day and 15 at night so probably a bit cold for it, especially since I had it sent down from the subtropics. So I've given it extra work in adjusting with a rather dramatic temperature change... Really need to buy plants at the right time of year (or locally, what a weird thought!) but who can wait and the constant lockdowns ugh I've never bought so many plants.

Oh cool! Never tried them in aquariums before. I totally get buying and njoy online, they are so beautiful!!! I would love one. But I totally agree with you, the Temp shock and environment change is likely taking a toll. But I'm sure it will adjust. 🙂

Great video. 💚 I have a few pothos plants. My favorites right now are the jade and the cube blue. I love the shape of the leaves and the texture. 🪴

Pothos is the next plant on my wish list! I need to start getting some more low-light plants, since most of my window real estate is taken 😅

I have a golden pothos, but wondering if it is mixed with a marble queen, as it has a few leaves with white, one of which is about 1/3 white.
I had it in pretty low light, but moved it a few weeks ago close to an east window.
Leaf color hasn't changed much, though since the move. Maybe it just needs more time.
