THE BASICS
-Basically, all we are doing is finding a nice looking piece of the plant, chopping it off, pulling off the bottom leaves to leave a stem and sticking it in some dry soil.
QUICK TIPS
-Best time to do this is in the spring
-water your succulents a few days before doing this so that they are fully hydrated.
AFTER CARE TIPS
-Wait at least 4-7 days before watering newly propagated succulents.
-keep them in bright indirect light rather than direct sun until they are rooted.
LEAF PROPAGATION
-place leaves of a tray of moist soil
-keep soil moist (spray bottles work well)
-be patient. Eventually, roots will form and new baby plants will grow!

Very helpful!
This is a fantastic video. Subbed 👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome. Love your necklace!
Thank you! The person I got it from said that it's a real oak leaf dipped in metal. 💚
Is that a crest that it has formed? I’m new to this and yesterday I watched a vid about how crested ones are worth money x
Hi love you videos thank you!! I have a question I noticed little bugs with long legs on my succulents now I see wholes how can I get rid of those bugs? Thanks😊
Hi, thank you! It's hard for me to know how to treat the plant without knowing exactly what kind of pest it is. But most pests can be handled with a little isopropyl alcohol mixed with water and a dash of dish soap. I use a mix of 20% alcohol and 80% water. You can spray the leaves or wipe the leaves with a cloth that has the solution on it.
Do you know how many varieties of succulents do we have on earth?
I don't know the number but I would guess that tens of thousands.
So what if your succulent had tiny thin leaves all over not big harty leaves as yours? I tried to save mine from Lowes and shes struggling greatly. Shaped like these but waaayyy thinner. One thing i know is I was using bad soil for it. Maybe also way to big of a pot?
Hi Maria. It sounds like it might not have been getting enough light, but I'm not sure. If you want to send me a pic on Instagram @mind_the_leaves I can take a look and maybe get a better idea of what's up with your plant.
Do you have any pebble succulents??
I have a Lithops that is actually blooming right now. 🙂
🇮🇳🙏👍
Thank you for this!! I just had a question about leaving the stem to get callused before planting it in dirt?
