I'm always amazed how airline food is prepared. These food are specifically prepared as your tastes buds changes in 30,000 feet! Again great content to show how our local airlines are preparing meals.
Abby's character bounces off Erwan's 😂 i love how both their dishes really showed each of their character too (Abby's filipino homecooking touch @lumpiaqueen albeit no lumpia wrapper haha 😅 and Erwan's travel and cooking experience ✈️🍛) I like how Abby explained the thought process and math 😅behind her dish 😂
This was super cool! I watched this video (Food Insider yata) about airline food prep where they also went in the commissary. They mentioned that when you're up in the air, the taste of food becomes a bit blander vs. when food is on land. So they tend to amp up the salt and pepper just a little bit to make sure the tastes are still the same aboard a flight.
Oh, ans they count EVERYTHING. Like it must precisely be 1 olive per dish or else the food cost impact will be massive. And the head of the kitchen will get in trouble 😅 Imagine the attention to detail and discipline, no?
As OFW here in Danang we are very happy to hear that we are having a direct flight DANANG -MNL vice versa ,, ateast if we had some holiday no work we can easily fly back home .. And we can bring our family in cheaper flight because it was direct flight na.. To all the viewer planning to visit DANANG lay back tour , holiday you will love to visit here for sure... Hoi An, Danang City where the beach + city , famous Golden Hand in Bana Hills and also the seafood .. You will love it here .. See you in Danang and Thank you Cebu Pacific having direct flight
AWEE MY FAVE FOOD VLOGGERS IN ONE FRAME! THIS MADE MY DAY! THANK YOU SO MUCH FEATR! ❤🎉😮 MORE POWER TO ERWAN AND HIS WHOLE TEAM! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! ALL THE BEST!
thanks for such an interesting episode featr!! appreciate the mix of educational yet fun food content from you guys!! looking forward to future videos 🫶🏻
Love to see the Cebu Pac’s facility! Very organised, cleaned and well-managed! My Mum is flying again with Cebu Pac to Manila from Sydney this December to attend my cousin’s wedding and fam reunion. I wish we can go with her back home. Very good content as always ✨
Where can I buy that apron? This content is really close to my heart. I worked before in the airline industry as a ground steward, and I remember that if the airline had a new additional long-haul flight, they would ask us to taste the new menu that they would serve on that flight. Your vlog and content really influenced me to turn my passion for cooking into a reality, become a chef soon, and hope to work again in the airline industry but in the catering field.
Had the chance to see everything there when I was a Medtech Intern on duty at Bureau of Quarantine. We took water samples for checking of E. coli content.
Grabe comment sa Sweet and Sour ni kuya. Karinderia food daw. Paano ba sila kumain ng meatballs at gugulong sa mahuhulog? Isang subuan lang yata ang isang meatball. hehe Kaya nag decide si Abi to go to meatballs dahil madali hiwain to bite size.
she should have covered her mouth when she laughed hysterically in a clean and sanitized environment! She was pretty close to contaminate the food being cooked with micro particles coming out of her mouth!
SOOOBRANG kulit ni Ms. Abii😂♥️ Even Erwan’s funny side lumalabas! Perfect choice for guest HAHAHA PS: Naka gown na but why still so gwapo Sir Erwan? 🔥💯
Hi,as ofw in my experienced i kept ordered in the airplane meal was the food that can satisfied my taste during flight so i think both mr Erwan and ms Abi menu are really good to added in airplane meal 😍
Sounds good, I will try this dish, I hope Cebu Pacific keeps their promise :) But I would like something that adds a bit texture to it, something you can bite on. If everything is very soft, the body digest very fast and you will be hungry faster. What I often miss in airplane food that they add something that has a better glycemic index, because some of those flights are rather long. But on the other hand, if the meal keeps you full for the whole flight, people dont buy snacks ;)
When making a lot of meatballs, and you have an ice cream scooper the size of the meatballs you want to make, use the ice cream scooper to scoop and shape the meatballs. It will make the process do much faster and the meatballs will be more uniform in sizes and weight.
When going to flight with Cebu Pacific...first notice when it comes to foods everything had to pay in flight local or international flights...for me as ofw hoping this will change part of there flight amenities...
Try vising next MacroAsia Catering Services. Sister company of the catering facility featured in this vlog. They cater international airlines. I used to work there as Food Safety Officer ✨💕
I also worked at Evergreen Sky Catering that serves most flights of it’s carrier Eva Air in Taiwan. It is really mandatory to make all the sanitation before entering the production area. If we have visitors like this one who wants to film the production from the start to end even cameras has its protective gears so foods will not be contaminated. Evergreen is way more bigger Sky Catering
It's good to see how airplane food are prepared. I haven't seen one before. I really love eating them as if just freshly-hot from the stove or oven. Now I know how it's done. Thanks for this informational vlog FEATR. Cebu Pacific is at par with Cathay Pacific and Thai Airways.
I suddenly remembered when i worked in an inflight catering facility abroad. I always wanted to stay in the kitchen to get some freshly made sushi😂 And tambay sa warewashing area conveyor and look for unused carts from first class to get evian and godiva hahaha
May point yung guy na judge, kasi as per experience, mag dedepende ang menu ng Airline sa country na pupuntahan mo. Like if punta ka Pinas they serve Filipino food which is well thought of.
Somehow parang it adds extra flavor sa videos.
I love how clean and organized every sections of the production in Cebu Pacific! Thanks for featuring this Featr!
Thanks for watching, Fame! We had lots of fun shooting this video. ❤
wow beef and buritos are the meals served to us on our way to australia last july3❤️🙏☺️
For the camera. What happens behind the scene is anybody's guess.
The infamous beef adobo that you have go through several hoops to remove from your itinerary. LOL!
I love how they separate halal and non halal foods. Kudos Cebu Pac.
Kudos to Macro Asia.
Syempre, nag halal ka pa kung pinag sabay mo yung dalawa.
@@juanpaynor2647ikr.😂😂😂
sa kulungan lang walang halal halal 😆
LOVED THIS ONE! always wondered how they prepped the food. thanks for letting us see a glimpse of it

You should do cruise ships next. Equally intriguing 😊
Impressive. Food safety should be top notch, which is the critical part of serving for public consumption.
Now I'm more impressed with ANA's meals.
Wow another unlocked talent for the 2 ..Erwan is truly a Filipino in heart ❤😊

Love this content kasi Pinoy version! Napanuod ko before was sa Emirates but this one, nakakakilig lang kasi Philippine setting. Hehehe.

Soon! 😉
Reminds me of that Top Chef episode where they also made in-flight food. Really interesting and challenging!
As a Muslim, it's good to know that Cebu Pacific has Halal chiller/production. Thank you for this video.
It was always a nice time to visit this facility. Nice to see it being featured 💕 Credits to MacroAsia Catering too! ✨️
Had the chance to see everything there when I was a Medtech Intern on duty at Bureau of Quarantine. We took water samples for checking of E. coli content.
Cool! What other food pathogens did the facility test for? I’m curious about how good their sanitation is
I love how clean and organize in every section of production! 💙💙💙

Heyy FEATR. Can you try korean reality show style editing? Like there's a lot of elements and subtitles HAHAHA i know Abi will fit to that technique
Thanks for the suggestion!
i like this duo. please make more episodes like this
i would order Abi's dish. Colorful and looks healthier.
Aw! Nice to see Abi again sa FEATR.

Finally new episode ..salamat
Was always curious how plane food was really made, this is on point!

Ang kulit nung lalaki na nakaputi. 😂 Nice video as always Erwan! 💪
Waiting to taste their food, since I am flying with them for the first time this coming holiday.
Now you know why airplane food is expensive. They go a thorough process.
I suddenly remembered when i worked in an inflight catering facility abroad. I always wanted to stay in the kitchen to get some freshly made sushi😂 And tambay sa warewashing area conveyor and look for unused carts from first class to get evian and godiva hahaha
thanks for doing this. always curious with in-flight meals.
Now we need a flight ticket from ceb pac just to try this non mexican mexican rice meal! 😋
I always wanted to order both meals on a flight. I don't mind paying extra for it. It beats dry sandwiches & pretzels.
Awesome video Abi, Erwan & team!
aside from the new learning about how airplane food works, i just love abi's energy hahahaha
i love the tandem haha more vids pa nga
May point yung guy na judge, kasi as per experience, mag dedepende ang menu ng Airline sa country na pupuntahan mo. Like if punta ka Pinas they serve Filipino food which is well thought of.
