Cebu has been the tourist capital in the Philippines in so many years and Boracay is second distant...CEbu has so many direct international flights now...the thing about about Cebu is that it has a bit of everything that Manila cannot offer
My mother is a high school culinary arts teacher here in the U.S and every year she does a few days on Filipino food as a nod to my fiancée. I send her your videos to show to her students because of how well made and educational they are.
what i love about this channel is they never fail to include mindanao especially halal dishes. thank you so much erwan & featr team! more contents & blessings to you! 🤍
@FEATR videos always gives us good knowledge about our country what we can offer not just for foreign visitors but also for our kababayans from different sides of our country,Erwan always explained well that makes us proud to be a Filipino for what we can offer and we have lots to offer, more content like this FEATR..God blessed 😇 to all the team behind this great content 🙏🏻
As a Filipina living in Metro Manila, it's always so nice to see more recos to visit! Love the breadth of options you gave Erwan and excited to try some new finds!
Just what we need in the Philippines -- our very own Michelin guide! This is a great start. I can see you turning this into print someday. Pls turn this into a series!
I've lived all my life in Makati, super duper close to that inasal place and I've never tried it! Now I live in the Netherlands and I want to eat there like right now. But I don't know when will I be able to go home... Life is tough! The next time I visit home I will definitely eat there. Thanks to your video.
Dude, this was such a well-balanced video in terms of the explanations of the dishes, the recommendations, a brief geographical and historical summary, and the humility and likability of Erwan, among other things. It didn’t even feel like 24 minutes of a video because I looked forward to what was next and was really drawn in to the contents and context. Filipinos generally have so much pride, especially when it comes to events like boxing, singing, or Miss Universe. This video reminded me of my Filipino pride through food. Subscribed and Liked!
I LOVE THIS EPISODE. I love MANILA... as in the city. When I fly back to the Philippines, I prefer to stay in Manila and find a hotel or AirBnB around Luneta or Malate. I like the old world vibe of MANILA city compared to Makati or BGC.
Yup, this is a topic that needs featuring. The locations and establishments offer food that sticks to the usual and expected taste of a food item. Except for Adobo. Adobo is very personal. As long as it has the 3 main ingredients in there (ingredients that provide acidity, saltiness and garlic), it will be called Adobo by the one who made it.
There's so much more than lumpia, pancit and adobo, when I watch this food channel I'm just blown away by the diversity of dishes. Like I didn't even know halal filipino food existed.
I really felt that when Erwan was wishing that we "leave with amazing memories and great experiences and amazing bites of food" when we visit Manila 🥲🥲🥲
Hi Erwan, I love how you explain everything to your viewers, for example, food from different regions and we have 82 provinces and adobo as our Tagalog cuisine.and all other information you’ve discussed. 😊
This one is so informative. I from Mindanao and had few hours of experience in manila and being scared where to go for few days because i know Manila is a big city. Now i have idea where to go for few days. Thanks!
That was so well made! Great job guys! Thanks for giving us a video (itinerary) we can send to our friends who want to visit the Philippines. And for ourselves!
"the aviation industry gets quite interesting" the most diplomatic way to put it 😅😅 this is obv for tourists, and i really appreciate that despite, it really provides a decent snapshot of the food scene here. galing 😊
I having lunch at Cabel's when the FEATR team shot this video. I was bummed Erwan wasn't there at the time - no fangirl moment. I decided to eat at Cabel's because of the MetroStyle article on Erwan.
These are all so nice. I love how these are edited. No pressure and just putting it out there but I'm still hoping someone out there can do the same for people who don't eat meat.
Wow! Ive been living in Manila all my life and i was not aware of that Papa Kape (15mins away from our house). Thanks for your recos, will check them out hopefully soon ❤❤❤
Such a well researched and greatly presented Filipino food vlog, Erwan & team featr!!! Love all the explanations and lil history talk ✨🇵🇭 I have a foreigner hubby and I'll def use this to encourage him try more Filpino food other than the ones I've cooked myself!!!
Thank you so much for your wonderful recipe and for helping us take care of our health. Wishing everyone who is watching this video always healthy, peaceful, and happy❤
Now i have another reason to visit Fort Santiago as a coffee lover, and as a manila city born citizen never had a chance to tour there 😅 Tysm for this good recos kuya Erwan and team! 🧡
Thank you for this vid Erwan! I’m planning on going back to Manila in a few months and need this local perspective on where to eat since there is SO many options in Manila I appreciate all the work FEATR puts in these vids
Thanks again Erwan for this food vlog, but kulang ang isang video to really feature all the good restaurants here in Manila 😋😋👏🩷❤️ keep safe and God bless you 🙌🤗♥️🍀
I remembered Erwan's Taho Gate meme. when he was explaining what Taho is. hahaha. This Video is awesome and accurate for people visiting manila for the first time.
I have 3 days to spend in MANILA. I'm glad I stumbled your vlog and sure to try a few of your recommendations. I just wished you had listed the locations where to find them on your list. I'm conveniently staying in Makati area.
Just WOW! Erwan, Manila and the food trip👍👍👍Making me like to fly back home. Thank you for the satiating information and making us visit Manila thru your eyes. More success to you. God bless🙏From Lola in Canada
This is so helpful! Thank you!❤ we went straight to Boracay after landing, the BGC. We did go to the Ayala museum but will explore makati more next trip
We were there last month, most of the restaurants were not serving unsweetened cold tea. But, I still love Megaworld, High Street and McKinley Hill in BGC.
thank you for sharing about esim, the recommendations on where to go for a great food and some glimpse on history. This would be very helpful for travellers, tourist who are going to our country and to filipinos as well who are going back to the Phillipnes
One issue I have is getting fresh green veges on each meal most of the time food prepared fried 😩 but I always have to forgo my diet plan I eat every thing and suffer later oh well ❤️❤️❤️ all Filipino food when I’m home 😇😎❤️ thank you Erwan now I must check out all those eateries 😎
I agree with the premium desserts. I don't know who can survive having unlimited of those! 😂 We only had one each for our entire cruise. Also, all our cruises before this, we had the Plus Package and we were pretty happy with it. We just tried Premier to see if the few additional perks are worth it. Having experienced it, we would go back to Plus going forward.

Good eating!
According to the latest satatistics Cebu is the number one tourist destination in the Philippines in terms of foreign tourists
Cebu has been the tourist capital in the Philippines in so many years and Boracay is second distant...CEbu has so many direct international flights now...the thing about about Cebu is that it has a bit of everything that Manila cannot offer

I wonder why no one has thought of a food guide for a layover before. Awesome tips.
I freaking love this channel why is it so underrated?
Sa lahat Ng food blogger Ito yung pinaka smooth.
Professional kase at may class unlike sa mga asal aso na mga food vloggers
I wish you also did an Overnight series for the Philippines. I became a fan because of that series.
I really admire Erwan for being down to earth.Ann is so lucky to have him

This is nice. Foreigner always complain about the food here. Well, in fact, they just don't know where to eat. They don't know which is the best.
