Thanks for watching! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and comment to let me know what you think!
Thank you for watching everyone! Couple things I forgot to mention:
1. Babies can spit up on you in Sims 2 if you play with them after feeding.
2. You can have singles, twins, OR triplets in Sims 4 without mods too!
3. You can hand babies over to other family members when you're holding them in Sims 2!
If you have an alien baby through abduction you have the option to send it back to its home world. This in sims 4 and (I think) 2, not sure about 3. Just a small feature
@@zyxcba3155 sims 3 has that too
Sims 2 wins
I always end up aging my Sims 4 baby early as theres no point so hopefully we will get better babies soon there was a hint of that ages ago around niffty knitting but nothing happened
I have never had twins or triplets in the sims4
Sims 2: Actual babies
Sims 3: Bundles of joy called babies
Sims 4: Static objects called babies
*Burritos called babies
honestly babies and toddlers in ts3 were superior (except for the putting your kid in the snow thing) i havent played ts2 but i know ts4 babies are literally the worst thing and toddlers arent much better
@@gh0style239 i dont remember much of sims 2 but i think it was pretty similar to sims 3 in terms of babies and toddlers ! both are so enjoyable to play with
@@gh0style239 Yeah TS4 toddlers and babies are just so annoying, i can't think of someone seriously playing with them without cheats to fulfil their needs
@@matheushenrique5963 honestly i just sit them in a room with a tablet and the study spot and childs play lot traits and cheat their needs up every few hours then cheat to lower their bladder need to potty train them
Me in the Sims 4: automatically ages up baby within 30 minutes of birth
Kudos to you for lasting so long without aging them up
Better than me I barely last five sim minutes 😭
Me after two sims minutes of the baby being alive: naw, this ain't gonna work *ages up*
@@miaa1762 same
I dont even bother to go through birth ill just add a toddler
Cindy: I wonder if they’ll have a boy or a girl.
Sims 4: Yes.
😆 😆 😆
Sims 4 toddlers it hurts i just wanna make them stop crying but sometimes just watching them burn is fun but ill stick with sims 3
Cool fastcats oop-
HAHAHAHAHAHA omygash
@@PleasantSims cindy I make most of my sims Gay/Lesbian cause I am Lesbian but then I do the occasional straight, bisexual and asexual sims as well (my asexual sims will just adopt and not get married)
i’ll never get over bathing the babies in the sink
Me either. Lol
You can now at least bathe toddlers in the sink in the sims 4
@@nepk what??? you can???
@@mekenna6214 Not anymore, that was a bug. It was taken out last patch. It was a thing, though, there’s probably videos of it on UA-cam.
@@avakintrash2703 I think it was supposed to be intentional but they clearly hadn't fine-tuned it since children and even toddlers could accidentally bathe other toddlers in the sink (their animation skeleton got all wonky and there was no way for them to put the toddler down after.) Also possible it's coding they wanted to overlap with toddlers if they're working on actual Sim babies no longer being objects, but someone messed up and released some of the unfinished code early? I know Dr. Gluon has a video on it in his Sims Science Experiments LP and I was able to use it at least once awhile ago in one of my saves, before the Dec patch. (I haven't played with a household that has a toddler since then so can't confirm if it's still there.) Either way, I do hope we get it back. Washing a toddler in a sink is handy for tiny houses without a tub. :)
Babies in TS4 are just annoying they don’t feel like a real member of the family
Damn 😂😂
honestly though 💀
Heck even in Sims 1 I remember Sims being more interested in their object babies. And you had to take really good care of them to keep them- the Sims 4 babies can just be ignored for hours
The dogs and cats require more attention than the babies.
EXACTLY
Unpopular opinion: I really like that bottles and diapers disappear in The Sims 3. I still have nightmares with dirty bottles and diapers everywhere in my Sims 2 houses.
Same! I hate the bottles and diapers, especially since it impacts your Sims' environment score!
Yeah the diaper thing was interesting, but the always putting bottles on the floor was so dumb. Even neat Sims would drop everything on the floor
I like the challenge of having to clean up after the babies in TS2, but it becomes completely unmanageable if you have more than 1 or 2 at a time. I played the Curious household once and they had 5 babies at one point. Absolute insanity, diapers and bottles everywhere!!
I think diapers should be manual unless you have an item like the changing table or diaper genie on the lot, bottles are annoying they should at least put them on a counter or table
Since this is a life simulator, I would say dirty diapers and bottles are par for course!
In sims 3, if you have generations you can go for a walk with the babies in the stroller. A lot of people think it’s only for toddlers but it can be done with babies too!
wait, what?? i'm gonna try this!
Wow
It sounds great, but I did not like the look of the babies in the sims 3.
Yeah, I'd see a lot of my residents doing that with their babies if I gave them strollers before switching xD
Are the strollers in sims 4?
Sims 4 has babies? I completely forgot!
Exactly
Tweet a legit criticism of TS4; they'll turn up.
I age them up right away lmao
Lol same
I want to play the sims 2 but the graphics scare me a bit
Sims 1: A bassinet
Sims 2: diapers, changing tables, seeing eye, hair and skin color, bathing in sinks, baby mat and dangle master (Store content), fully animated body
Sims 3: burritos, bathing and diaper change with cheap animations (Store content), Swing (Store content), Strollers (Generations)
Sims 4: breastfeeding, knitting onesies (Nifty Knitting) AND... A bassinet...
That's a very good summary! You can clearly see the best one!
Thanks for this summary, it really helps me "see" what was swapped out of the games.
And on sims 3 sims can hold a sleeping baby on the rocking chair
the sims 3 store also offers a baby monitor so that older sims can keep track of the baby and sometimes find out what the baby needs/wants
The Sims 5: a pixel
I think sims 2/3 did babies best tbh. They didn’t cry over everything like in sims 4 and there’s more things to do with them like like putting them in the swing in sims 2 and the whole object thing in sims 4 doesn’t make them that fun for me and they feel like a chore to deal with there
There's something about the crying sound in Sims 4 that just drives me up the wall! LOL
@@PleasantSims same for me Cindy it drives me crazy lol
@@rowan404 Hey!
There is also a swing in The Sims 3, but it's on the store. I love it!
You'd cry over everything too if you had constant untreated bedsores
About the sims 4 babies, there is actually a 'hidden' interaction that is called 'kiss baby'. You know what are the requirements of this interaction? To be in a HIGH LEVEL POLITICAL CAREER, like, why?! lol. Babies are very lackluster in the sims 4, but thankfully, modders have found a new baby tag in the code of the game which wasn't there before, so maybe they are coming soon?
I get why, politicians are known for kissing babies. However, doubt any simmers are aware of this interaction , so the joke is lost on everyone.
The requirements for this interaction are wrong on so many levels. I wonder if they did that on purpose? Would be kind of funny
@@wannabecreative1460 exactly. They were attempting to be funny lol
I really had laugh when I found out about that politician kissing :D It was feeling like some kind of easter egg.
That’s kinda hilarious 😂
“It is evolving, just backwards”
So far in Sims 4, I had a sim who had an affair and got pregnant with a married man. (Mortimer Goth) I invited him to the hospital when it was time to give birth. He ran around panicked and then ran away before his newest daughter was born. It was hilarious.
Yeah in my experience when you invite the dad over, if he isn’t already a part of the household, he will be scared and go home almost immediately 😭😂
I love babies in The Sims 2, but a great thing about babies in The Sims 3 is that they can get in a stroller and go for a stroll outside and I also love the store content baby swing you can put babies/toddlers in.
Aww I love the little baby stroller and when the mom or daddy takes the baby for a walk! It’s adorable! I just wish I had more store points to use store stuff!
@@desertrose1226 download them from a free website, I bought some stuff but I downloaded a lot of stuff from websites and tumblr
sims 4 babies are literally objects, it's kinda sad 😔
Especially since when you bulldoze your house, babies go into the household inventory, and when you want to go back into live mode it literally says “you can’t go into live mode with a baby in your inventory”
@@rainbow_slayz lol what??
@@rainbow_slayz LMFAOOOO
Excuse
@@rainbow_slayz ... What happens if you move an NPC family out and tell them to sell the furniture? XD
Breast feeding was included in the sims 2 but they hid it. They must have decided feeding your child naturally was too controversial. There are a couple of mods out there that unlock this feature.
A couple of other things that you didn't mention are the baby toys that came in the Sims 2 store. These add game play and can be downloaded for free from a few sites
If the baby is going to be a messy sim, flies will buzz around them when their nappy/diaper is dirty. Jeremy had no flies so he has over 3 neat points.
And CC clothes, hair and accessories are also available for sims 2 babies.
Oh and one more thing that I remembered, when you adopt a baby the game randomly uses one adult female and male townie and makes the baby from their genes. So if you have no townies, you won't be able to adopt a baby.
Awwww... that's all so cool, especially that the adoption babies are created using random townies! And of course, if they get taken away from your family, they're up for adoption too. I like these little details because it makes the world feel more lived in. :)
oh, messy sims have flies? that's so cool! I guess my baby is messy then lol
From what I understand you can still have your sims 2 mothers breastfeed if there's no fridge on the lot and the baby is getting hungry. That's how the function was discovered and why people started making mods for it. Only a female parent of the baby can do this and only autonomously. With mods anyone could do it any time depending on what mod you get lol
@@ambeer6 No, thats a rumour, they removed breast feeding but you can enable it again with a mod.
@@joandsarah77 oh I see, thanks for the info!
I love the cutscenes in sims 2. The babies also look better in my opinion idk
Same! I miss those cutscenes and the cute little babies!
yeah no offense to sims 3 babies but they look like human burritos
@@davidkonevky7372 and for the sims 4... NO ANSWER- (they look ____)
They look more like real babies, and what I mean by that, is that their butt and head are heavy...
The first woohoo cutscenes too especially in a hot tub
Sims 3: I love my baby
Sims 4: Both parents just walked through the bassinet, and left the baby inside when there was a fire._.
they know they‘re fireproof so its okay 😂

... hahah
It always freaked me out how babies sleep basically nude in their cribs. My 8-year-old me was like "But aren't they cold? D:". xD
I didn't knew reincarnation was a thing on Sims 3
I didn't either until I researched for this video!
That’s like surreal and spiritual af I wish that was still with sims games
The dad can click on the mom in sims 3 and take her to the hospital too 💕
and then she'll drive herself while he sits uselessly in the passenger seat XD
It's super funny is a witch they'll ride their broom to the hospital lol
I remember being shown Sims 4 babies for the first time and being like "wow! So cool!" Now I just sigh and age them up straight away xD
My favourite thing was engineering a baby from University, I made my male sim work on it constantly and he got a daughter. The same with plant sims, I had a whole plant sim family which is also super fun.
Other ways of getting a baby is way more intresting!
I just age up babies in sims 4, I'm not even trying at this point
Side note.... your bob is epic
Frrr sims 2 babies have best interactions
I use them to get some easy Parenting skill
I also love how in the Sims 2, if you adopt a child/toddler/baby and another family's child was taken, that you will get that child and not a random. Could be an idea to make a video about adoption, I can't even remember if those are options in the Sims 3 and 4 haha.
@S C I suppose that was the progression feature in the sims 3 that lets other sims in the neighborhood do things like getting married and having babies without your input, but I never knew they could even adopt babies! that's so cool
Omg one I got triplets when I wanted twins and 12 year old me hated the 3rd kid because that wasn’t the plan. So I exiled the kid to live in the basement and eventually she got taken away. Later that week at school, her siblings made friends with her. Then I HAD to (no other choice) invite her over and burned her down. It was a long fix lol
Another fun fact about TS2 is that adopted babies are actually the kids of two randomly picked townies.
@@anameagirlhasnot2116 what?!?!
@@anameagirlhasnot2116 🤨
I used to love how sims 3 u can take the baby on a walk in the stroller around the neighborhood
Sims 2 babies: the cutest and I like how you can see their hair/eye colour.
Sims 3 babies: probably the best with all you can do with them, taking them for a ride in the stroller and taking them to community lots.
Sims 4 babies: ugly as hell, ugly cries, objects. Definitely the worst.
But I like sims 2 babies the best 😊
But Sims 3 newborns are terrifying 😶

i love that in sims 2 you have to deal with spoiled bottles and dirty diapers all over the floor (for realism purposes), even tho i hate dealing with them. i like to be stressed
i like the burrito babies😳
Yea the burrito babies are growing on me lol
Same unfortunately I fell for the burrito babies😩
Sims 2 babies are the best for me because of how they look and how you can see their genetics. The bathing is also so cute
That's my favorite part too! I love being able to see the hair color, eye color, and skin tone right from birth!
Fr
I was in Jr. High when the Sims 2 was out... thats where I learned how to parent... I totally leave my kids on the floor and walk around doing whatever 🙃
i cant believe cindy HAD to compare these to find out that sims 2 babies were better and sims 4 babies were just objects with a few interactions. watch your back, ea.
washing babies in the sink, changing tables, and actually having to clean up diapers and bottles make the sims 2 babies my favorites by far!
I will say something interesting about Sims 4 is that the sims gain weight and their bodies change after having even one baby, which is pretty cool and more realistic
"Babies in the sims 2 are perfectly safe. Sims will walk around them or walk over them." Haha you nearly had me if not for that second part.
That one dislike is EA, no tea, no shade, just facts 😌
Can we still have pink lemonade?
@@cheeseiscoolwithpeas yes, you can ^w^
I just bought Sims 3 generation and I now love playing with babies and toddlers 😭🤧 I'm not going to lie I hire a baby sitter 24/7 to take care of them but I just like seeing them in rockers and strollers! 😅
Sims 2 babies were the most realistic- you could carry them on your arms, feed them a bottle right from the fridge.
You can bathe them in the sink, change their nappy and they are just more interactive
Babies in sims 1: objects but kinda acceptable considering it was a game made in 2000 and it was the first in the franchise
Babies in sims 2: they look super cute, have a cute cutscene, they can be brought anywhere, they have their own changing station (which I love), etc.
Babies in sims 3: they look like burritos (it's kind of a downgrade but they're still kinda cute), they are selectable which is quite handy, they can be conceived at a hospital, they can be brought anywhere, they are not that annoying at all, etc.
Babies in sims 4: literally the same as sims 1 but with breastfeeding, which is kinda dissapointing for a 2016 GAME
I love that you're feeding your Sims 2 baby with stinky sandwiches on the counter lol
I was not prepared for how cute bathing the baby in the sink would be.
The "Question Alex" had me weak 😂😂😂
You really spilled the tea on this one! I wish the Sims 4 babies were more challenging like in the Sims 2 (having to clean up diapers and bottles) while also being clickable like in the Sims 3. I think that would be the best combination. Its also amazing how many methods of impregnation there are in the Sims 3, never knew that!
Don't forget the torture device babies in sims 1. So many times i had to separate the mom and baby into a separate house because the slightest cry would wake up every other sim in the house.
My favorite babies are from TS2 followed closely by TS3. I love holding my baby while chatting with someone. I love bathing them and using the changing tables, even the one from the store; it offers washing and powdering. Having my sims have babies has always been a big deal for me because I've always stuggled with getting pregnant myself. I always looked forward to the interactions with babies and toddlers.
I have managed to get triplets in the Sims 2, I’ve got no idea what I did but I had no cheats or mods in the game, what’s more is that when the three were born that made it so there were 9 sims in the house, the limit is 8, but somehow I had no issues whatsoever playing the lot... asides from taking care of 3 babies, 2 vampires and 4 kids all at once... that was hard.. it was really fun though
guess its a good glitch for you!
Same. I remember having triplets at some point too.
Sims 4 babies: literally a houseplant
Sims 3 babies: burrito baby that needs care and attention
Sims 2 babies: a real life baby, it's not even a game anymore
omg i laughed so hard at 2:22 when the mother rejected her other daughter hug 😂😂
Also there's a bottle warmer as a aspiration reward in the sims 2.
12:12 I'm not sure if it's considered a glitch but I think it is and it's one of the best glitches sims 3 has lmao
"Where were you last night?"
baby *cries* or stares into the void/makes squeaky noises
" I knew it! You're under arrest!!!"
baby: *cries harder*
that'd be a funny scenario
I wonder if the developers were so busy with creating everything else that they just did the basic sims 1 baby to get it over and done with
I know this may sound weird but your voice is so calming. I could literally sit and hear you talk for hours and not get bored
I'm forever with the sims 3
Me too! Lags, bugs and all lol 🙂
Yep, me too.
@@desertrose1226 yes
Yeeeees
Is it just me, or did babies get worse and worse with each iteration of the game after the sims 2? Welp I guess it’s just another thing for PL and Ts5 to take notes on from ts2!
That is basically everything in the sims. Literally everything.
TS2 was unmitigated ambition, with 3 going both ways, and 4 regressing slowly back to 1
I have no hope for the sims 5. xD
i wish you'd also included the sims 1 in these comparison videos just so everyone would see how similar the sims 4 and 1 are! at launch the babies even grew straight into children, skipping the toddler stage. wtf. i am 100% sure it was always a plan to make a toddler expansion pack, but once the backlash got really loud and bad, they instead gave us toddlers for free + a stuff pack + parenthood
Nah, sims 1 is untouchable. The lack of certain stuff and features is automatically justifiable anyway due to its age.
There is a funny/bizzare feature if you have seasons installed. If a sim puts the new-born in snow in winter, the baby will be covered in snow and show up as a snowy mound, and the baby will start to display thought bubbles showing that they are freezing or extremely cold. I think the thought bubbles are a way to remind the player where they have misplaced their baby.
I think that the sims is a parenting guide for players to enjoy the experience of pregnancy and raising the sims from baby to adults!
Sims 2 babies absolutely wins when it comes to aesthetics. They’re the least scary lol.
14:50 You forgot to mention that babies CAN be washed in the changing table from the Store.
the tea I’ve been waiting for 👀
Thank you for watching!!
The changing table from the Sims 3 store gives the baby a positive moodlet if you change them using it, and you can also give them a bath, which also gives them a positive moodlet. So it's slightly more useful than just "looks cool".
In sims 3 you can also select any friends in the area to accompany your aim to the hospital. Have your in labor sim as your active and select another sim and click go to hospital. That sim will then go with your sim to the hospital. They may just go in and come back out or stay the whole time and ride home with your sim and new babies. That depends on relationship level.
Also if you're anywhere and a sim goes into labor you can click them to take them to the hospital. This way you don't even have to know them, it's like doing a good deed. But your sim will stay at the hospital with the pregnant sim until they leave so don't have plans. Like I did, my good deed ate up the rest of the afternoon. And bc your sim is present for the birth they get a relationship boost with the newborn burrito too.
Sims 2 babies are my favourite. However, I absolutely love the strollers in the Sims 3. So much fun taking out the babies and toddlers for a stroll.
The only good thing about Sims 4 babies is the breastfeeding. Everything else is just rubbish.
If you carry a baby of a toddler while you’re eating at a restaurant or diner, they will eat too. I would often take babies out to eat sometimes whenever my sims were hungry lol
I have been playing The Sims since 2010 and have already played all Sims 2, 3 and 4. But there are A LOT of stuff I just didn't know before I started watching your videos, so thank you so much for that! I love it!
if you throw the baby a birthday party (or any age group) they actually get a cutscene
in the sims 2
I absolutely LOVED carrying the babys around. Like going to the park and stuff.
One time I had a teen go into labor a couple hours before school, and I had her go to the hospital. After she went in the school bus dropped the dad off at the hospital. It was so funny.
Lets not forget the magic of Sims 2 adoption! If a baby/toddler/child gets taken away by social services, whichever different household decides to adopt will get that EXACT kid that was taken away by the worker! I think thats so cool of Sims 2. Also there's a hidden interaction where children-elders will autonomously "Lecture" the baby and I always find that absolutely hilarious to watch!
On the Sims 3 if the mother has stroller on her inventory from EP Generations, after she had the labor, she would bring the baby using the stroller
As someone who really don’t like dealing with babies sims 4 is the best for me. But I can see it would be frustrating if you love playing with them. But at least I can’t forget them in community lots like in sims 3
I remember thinking that people called sims 4 babies items as an insult and because they didn’t like them. And then one day I finally played the sims 4 went through the list of debug items and found babies in there and realized they they actually are items lol.
Sims 2 babies are soooo stinking cute. I love them the most. The Sims 2 store content - the chair and danglemaster - are also absolutely adorable, they can hand the babies to each other, and someone put SO much thought and care and time into the animations between grown sims and babies. The feel the most "real" of all the Sims games.
Sims 3 babies are actually my least favourite. I do like the stroller & rocking chairs added in the Sims 3, but I find them totally uninteresting otherwise and I don't like the constant swaddle, or their animations.
Sims 4 needs to liberate and completely remodel the babies, but I like the pregancy process, the interactions you can do with the crib, and the parenting skill in the Sims 4. The S4 baby faces are literally terrifying though.... they give me actual nightmares!
Thank you for making these videos, it's so educational for players who haven't experienced the older games 😊
My very first Sims 2 game, I got twins.
Then, my very first Sims 3 game, I got... twins.
I'm a little worried to get pregnant IRL, lol.
How come you never talk about sims 1?? I know I was young but I literally have NEVER had a sims 1 baby make it, they always died before they grew up lol. Not sure if I was just a dumb kid or it’s just extremely difficult to take care of sims 1 babies 😂
Sims 1 is a thing?? I wonder how terrible graphics were and facial featured are comparing to sims 2
@@itzdoraxses you thought the franchise started with Sims 2?
Another thing about Sims 2 babies, if you have Pets installed and a cat is in your household, if the cat's social bar is low, it will autonomously "Ask for Love/Hug" any Sims on the lot. When asking a child or older Sim, this works perfectly fine, cat gets a hug. When asking a toddler, this causes the ADORABLE "Cuddle Cat" action. However, if all sims toddlers and older are busy and there is a baby on the lot, the cat will attempt to ask the baby for a hug - the cat will walk all the way to the crib and meow, then the interaction will drop because the baby cannot give the cat a hug.
I once kinda had quadruplets in the Sims 2... because of a bug. My sim gave birth to twins, but after that she was still in labour and gave birth to twins again. I was so overwhelmed back then :'D
Lol were they the same twins twice or all different
12:48 my sim dad just took my
Baby to like a nightclub at 2am and I was so worried atp
I recall that they had to patch the sims 2 as some people had issues when a guest would pick up a baby and leave the lot, so your baby would never be seen again 😂
Wow I genuinely forgot about TS4 babies and how they are literal objects in DEBUG mode
I wish we could go back to sims 2 babies, I love the realism and the consequences if you don’t take care of yourself properly
In TS2, bathing babies gives them a neat point for their personality.
In the sims 3 if the mother has the baby in the hospital and the father is not in the household he can also meet up at the hospital and sometimes go home with your sim too.
i can’t believe EA was like “yknow what? let’s make babies into objects. players would love that.”
I have several babies in Sims 3, and I’ve noticed the parents will often place the baby on the play mat that comes with some piece of store content, I forget what. The thing is, the play mat rapidly refills all the baby’s needs except social, it’s even better than a crib or swing. The parents will autonomously put the baby in the best spot for them! I love it when Sims are actually smart
I actually like not being able to see babies' needs. At that age they can't communicate very well and looking after them can be a bit of "What do you want from me?" so I think it adds some realistic challenge.
It made me very sad when they took cribs away in sims 4. Being able to select a crib in sim3 was my favorite thing
TS3 my sim was living in the b/w starter, got preg w. Geoffrey Landgraab not living together, she went to the hospital and he met her there
Sims 2 babies are the cutest and most realistic, minus parents putting them on the floor but that happens in TS3 as well.
10:23 they have lower relationship probably cuz the baby gets taken away by nurses immediately? haha xD They only get to hold the baby for a while
I think the explanation of babies having a higher relationship with the mom for home births via hospital births is to be more realistic.
Hospital births that involve medication (ie epidurals and inducing meds) effect how much oxytocin is produced during birth. Oxytocin is a chemical our bodies produce to facilitate in bonding with your new child.
The game is saying
hospital births=meds=less oxytocin=less bonding=lower starting relationship
Home births=no meds=more oxytocin=more bonding= higher starting relationship
You can only join your sim at the hospital with Get to Work- otherwise it's always a rabbit hole.
Awesome video as always ! Shows us more about the babies in the sims games my fav is sims 3.
Thank you for watching! 💙
Babies in Sims 3 can also be pushed around in prams and stollers. You can also hold them while you sit on the sofa
One cool thing in ts3 is that you can have a ghost baby! It's really cool
Wait what why would you kill a baby! 🤯 No freaking way
@@kld6 haha thankfully you don't need to kill any babies in the sims 3! I think just one or both parents need to be a ghost :D
@@aranara_song ooohh lol I'm so dumb my bad I'm still a newbie with the Sims 3 I only started playing two months ago 😅😂
@@aranara_song I can confirm this! In one of my saves, I had my sim romance the mail carrier who was an old man. He died of old age on the lot and became a ghost. She married him and then had a ghost baby. I turned her into a mermaid (she started off with blue skin anyway lol), had her take the ghost toddler out for a stroll on the beach a few times (didn't realize she could do so with the burrito as well) and it was kinda funny seeing the stroller through his transparent body (I couldn't tell if he inherited her blue skin but probably?) Ghost daddy got a job as a firefighter which was a ton of fun, I miss that active career, but in retrospect, I should've made him a paranormal expert or whatever they were called so he'd be a ghost who was busting other ghosts. They started off with a boom, had two amazing games after the first and then got lazy. I wish they had tried as hard with the depth and whatnot in the Sims 4.
Also planting a forbidden seed in the Sims 3 can result in a plantsim baby :)
Isn't there a hidden breastfeeding interaction in Sims 2? For when you have no fridges on the lot? I could be wrong, but I think so

I've seen people complaining about TS4 babies being tied to the crib, but honestly I don't feel it is that big of a deal. You can't do much with them anyway, and even in TS2 they spend most of the time inside the crib. The only thing that I really miss is the fact that in TS2 you can bathe babies in the sink and that's extremely cute.
