The panic of fires in the first 3 games was so real! When I finally got my hands on TS2 and found out Bella was missing, I assumed EA somehow knew what I did. I put fire alarms in every room, I was so worried! 😆
I love them too, also love the fact that the firefighters live inside the neighbourhood. Had my one sim date this guy without realizing he's a firefighter. Then one day my sim brings his side chick over to hang out, and while she is over a fire starts and his boyfriend shows up in the uniform and everything to put it out. "It wasn't included in The Sims 4 base game" seems to be a common phrase in this series, lol The Sims 3's firefighters are my favourite, personally. Well, TS3 is my favourite of the games overall. Sadly, it's so hard to get it to work well, even to this day
Honestly after 6 whole years of waiting, the firefighters in the sims 4 are basically useless anyway 😅 mine don't usually even put out the fire most of the time! they just stand there, and the way they just stroll along casually... no effort whatsoever when it comes to the sims 4 firefighters 🤦♀️and after all this time! like what was even the point, my sims just do the job themselves lol 😅
When that dinky little firetruck pulled up in TS3 I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. Having never played the game before I was caught EXTREMELY off guard 😂
I loved that they were both sexes in the Sims 3. And I don't know if this was on purpose or not, but I loved marrying in Sims 3 firefighters because they were always cute. The stereotypical hot firefighter. Yeah, I'm shallow that way 😂 But oof, Sims 2 firefighters never stood a chance, unless you had replacement face templates. It's definitely harder to start fires in the Sims 3 than the previous games, just like they made it harder to drown. Well, unless you put those rugs close to the fireplace in winter, with the auto-light on. Learned that the hard way. 😂
@@doncarlin9081 I forgot about that! Those odd little hidden traits that can get passed down, like the military salute and fireproof. I seriously never noticed with the kids, because, lol, not too many fires. Thanks for pointing that out.
I’m glad you’ve included sims 1!! I think sims 2/3 win again here lol. Fire fighters just... exist in sims 4 and they just got here after 6 years and there’s no fire truck they just teleport on the lot but I guess it’s good that they are here but I definitely think the other games did them better.
"It takes forever to start a fire in the Sims 3" *Looks at my Sims 3 save where I had a fire at least once a week until my witch Sim had enough magic skill to give magical fireproof upgrades* Yeah.... okay..........
when i was little i would use the fireworks in sims 1, set them off, then switch to buy mode before it lands and move the explosion inside. instant fire lol.
sims 3 is the best one i think, for all npc sims, i like how they have hidden traits that can be passed genetically, i love having fireproof pyromaniac babies when i marry a firefighter
I loved in the sims 3 how the sims traits affected the sims responses to fire! The brave ones would extinguish it without panic while cowards just freak out completely, etc!
Another thing about sims 3's playable firefighters is that when a fire started on their home lot, if your sims were able to dealt with it before the NPC arrived, when they do, the NPC will congratulate you for doing a great job and "see you at the station", or something along that line. Also, playable firefighter can receive thank-you calls from civilians that they saved, which I think is a nice touch.
I just played the sims 2 for a couple of weeks, and I felt so into my sims that I felt like it was like real life, which I never get that sentiment in the sims 4, in the sims 4, I feel like I'm playing with dollhouses, whilst in the sims 2 they feel like real people almost. I'm so sad that I missed the sims 2 in this franchise.
So true. My sims 4 sim that I had been playing for months died of old age and I was just like “oh, ok”. My sims 2 sim that I had played for literally a day was killed in a satellite crash and I was devastated.
One cool thing about sims 3 firefighters are the hidden traits associated with them. Randomly generated npc firefighters have the 'immune to fire' trait; they can't die from fire. But my favourite trait is the 'pyromaniac' trait. If your sim has a baby with a firefighter, there is a 50% chance the baby will have the pyromaniac hidden trait. Pyromaniac sims can start fires at will, they enjoy being lit on fire, and transmogrify any fruit into a flame fruit, which they can eat to gain energy. Great video as always, Cindy! I find the sims 4 firefighters infuriating. They will stop running towards a fire to complain about the environment 😭
In my game they show up and ignore the fire or act like they can’t get to it, even if it’s in an open area. They will also give up in the middle of putting out a fire and let it burn everything so they can go play video games.
Also, my classic way of starting fires to "accidentally" kill sims is to leave the food in the oven/on the stove and cancel the interaction and make them go do something else. Eventually, it will catch fire. Lol.
I loved the first comparison video you did and I love that you've kept going. No hate to Sims 4 but its pretty telling where it falls short gameplay wise, when you can compare multiple areas/mechanics and it falls short nearly every time 😅 the magical fire extinguisher that comes pre-packaged with every sim is so annoying!
I hardly ever play the sims but I've definitely spent more time in the Sims 3. I've only managed to start a fire a few times though. I had no idea that they even added fire fighters in the Sims 4 or that there weren't any to begin with. I can't get myself to play the game long enough to start one 😂
Sims 4 has nothing on sims 1! Theres a ton of depth to sims 1. It's not the best looking game lol (though the music is beautiful), but it sure as hell packed a lot of gameplay in. There was so much to do in every pack, and I dont think I even got around to doing everything. You can find loads of places to download it for free and get it running. I highly recommend it (played a bit a few weeks ago and was so surprised by how much stuff there was to do in the game, I had forgotten a lot)
@@NHarts3 I know but how love, I downloaded it and everything but when I tried to copy the file it kept giving me an error message about being the administrator
Great video! Love the comparison Some additional info about fire and firefighters in the sims 4 (I’m not sure about the rest) - Certain materials will have different fire proofing properties. Wooden and carpet floor are more frequent to catch on fire and spread fast compared to stone or iron floors - if there’s a bigger fire, 3 firefighters will spawn instead. - Sims wearing the firefighters suits (which is available in CAS) will get a confident moodlet and are fireproof - pregnant sims are immune to fire (I think it’s the same for previous games too)
The first fire I had in Sims 2 was started when the sim cooking died of old age. The family all gathered around to mourn it, and then had another fun little surprise when the fire started.
Also about Sims 3 fire fighters, if you have a baby with one, the child will have the Pyromaniac trait and be able to set stuff on fire and also survive on fire for up to 3 hours.
it's easy to start a fire if you use the washing machine/dryer and don't clean the lint filter (??? i didn't know the word i hope the translator was correct lmao)
I remember when I first got Sims 4 and a fire started on my lot, I was so confused as to why I couldn't call for a firefighter! When I realised they weren't even in the game I just couldn't believe it. Sims 3 firefighters are definitely the best if you have the Ambitions pack!
I really love your game comparison videos, and I especially love that you included the Sims 1 in this one too. I never played the original Sims, I was a tad too young when it was released, so it’s nice to see how the game has evolved (or devolved in Sims 4’s case!) since the game that started everything 😁
As someone who started with the first game, it's amazing how much things regressed in The Sims 4. It's actually worse in some regards than The Sims 1... and that's just plain sad.
Another cool thing in Sims 3 is that if a sims is burning and there's a pool close you can make them throw themselfs in the pool to extenguish the fire.Helped a lot when I would send sims to adventures during vacations :p
I think it’s so hard to get fires to start in TS4 because it’s suppose to be a Utopia where nothing bad happens. There are no real consequences. That’s why it took so long to get firefighters and why we still don’t have police in the game. If we do get police or burglars in a patch update can you do a comparison?
Definitely loved Sims 3's fire fighters best. There's also a hidden trait you can get in that game, Pyromaniac I think, if you have a kid with a fire fighter. I don't know if it has to be one of the NPCs or if you can have a sim in the profession who'll pass the trait to their offspring.
Fun fact! In TS4, for me, the toilet caught fire after one of the eco lifestyle upgrades (never again will I make this upgrade, lest my sim's butt will catch on fire again) and one of the firefighters caught on fire while they were finishing extinguishing the toilet. my sim saved their life and they actually got a memory and increased their relationship to friends with that sim! they didn't know each other beforehand, but saving a life would probably do something similar to that realistically, right? lol. the memory notification was also quite nice and unexpected, though i don't really exactly remember what it said, but that was actually a really really cute happenstance! thank u for the video!! i love your comparison videos!!
Here's a fun story: I had a family in The Sims 3 of 7 or 8 people, two were the parents and all the others were their children. It was the mother's birthday, so I had them all wake up at dawn to celebrate her birthday (with eight people there everyone's schedules were crazy, and I wanted the whole family to be there) Everyone started cheering as she was about to blow the candles... And suddenly, the cake's candles started a fire. (Yes, you read that right. The CANDLES started a fire. It never happened before, I was so shocked. It could have been because the cake was on a wooden table, but I had plenty of birthday cakes on that table and nothing ever happened...) So I had everyone evacuate the house and call the firefighters, but they all wanted to come in because they were hungry and wanted to eat the cake (seriously??) so they all stayed at the door, the scene was almost comical Finally the firefighters arrived, but they couldn't come in because, as I already said, everyone was blocking the path by standing at the door. So I had to make them walk away, but they kept on panicking and wanting to come in. 😩 Finally the firefighters managed to go in, but as they did, they just said something like "I'm sorry, but I can't extinguish the flames. I hope they'll be put out." (Really?? You didn't even try!) So finally, the second eldest son stepped up and extinguished all the flames! Oh and in the meanwhile, one of the firefighters had died in the fire. The Grim Reaper didn't appear though, she just vanished into dust. After the fire was put out, everyone complained because they were hungry (there has just been a fire and you're thinking about eating??) but instead of cutting the cake, they just went back to bed. That must be the weirdest thing that ever happened to me in about 9 years of playing The Sims.
I was playing the sims 4 while watching this and my sim set the grill on fire!!🤣 Legend has it that when you start a fire in the sims, another fire will start somewhere else😂
I have sims 4 without any mods and my sims set EVERYTHING on fire, like every time I played, and start panicking. For me is really easy got fires out control, specially if you use the fireworks inside the house 😂
Why is it that EA decided to be lazy on the Sims 4 and just be like: "Hey! Lets do almost NOTHING at all to updates in the Sims 4!" Is that what they were really thinking? Lol
@@PleasantSims I'm also pretty much hoping they don't get Paralives to either let EA take Paralives, or they just make the Paralives development team stop development. My friend is REALLY excited for it, and I'd hate to see him heartbroken.
@@retrorim124 They actually would have no legal basis to stop the Paralives team, EA can not, under any circumstances try to prevent a competitor from making a life simulation game. They don't own the genre, they own a game within it. It is actually against the law for them to try, the US has laws against monopolies. The government would step in, and could punish them for attempting to. They also have said they aren't going to sell Paralives to EA. No worries :D
@@thesimslover82884 The US laws for monopolies is a joke and easy to overcome with enough $ and a little brain power. While EA can't target them legally, there are other ways to snuff out a smaller company. But Alex isn't looking to sell to EA which is a plus, but that doesn't mean he won't see pressure from the EA company.
@@anomalytenacious The only legal way EA could stop the Paralives team from creating the game is, is if they used EA assets. Which they haven't, Bill Gates has billions, but he was investigated under those laws. Game companies are no different, case in point, Dead By Daylight. It's a game about people called Survivors, trying to escape brutal Killers, that want to sacrifice them to a powerful Entity. But Last Year, In Silence and Friday the 13th, basically has the same situation. Innocent people trying to survive or beat several kinds of serial killers or monsters, trying to kill them. The maker of Dead By Daylight can not try to shut the other games down, unless those games are outright copying DBD or using assets made by Behavior, Dead By Daylight's developer. Behavior, just like EA doesn't own the genre, just a game within it, and under no legal basis can attempt to stop competition.
I’m gonna remind the real ‘nice touch’ to fires in The Sims 4. Wanna get your whole house barbecued? Just use a toilet. Oh I miss that bug. Set the fire to your gameplay. Some like it hot, I guess.
I love when you make these kinds of videos. It always reminds me of cool things I’ve forgotten about or gives me nostalgia for the things I loved in past games. It’s also good to point out how the sims used to be for all those newer simmers who have only played sims 4. Maybe they will understand better when we have comments or criticism about things in sims 4 if they can see how in depth the past games were. I wish we had such good firefighters in sims 4 as we used to in sims 3. Firefighter was also one of the best active careers in sims 3 to me.
Video suggestion! This just randomly occurred to me while watching someone's university let's play, but I would love to see you compare university in ts2, ts3, and ts4. I have a soft spot in my heart for sims university packs and I love your comparison videos! :)
What I do like in the sims 4 is that in Sulani your neighbors will come over to help you stop the fire. Also they pick up toddlers if they do the route to safety wich is really cute
I love your comparison videos, more than anything it shows the lack of depth and thought put into Sims 4 without being super negative. So, I was playing sims 4 homeless challenge, I had just completed building my sims home, he had just gotten home from his honeymoon when he peed fire and caught on fire himself. Firefighters were called, two of them caught on fire and died standing in the bathroom watching my sim lay on the floor. The third fireman was saved by my sims wife who actually put the fire out. Ridiculous!!! By the time she put it out it had spread from the bathroom to both the kitchen and dinning room.
Awesome video! I love seeing these comparisons because there’s no way I’m ever gonna be able to get my hands on a copy of the sims 1 and 2 that will work on my shitty laptop. One of the biggest pet peeves of mine is the fact the sims 4 has services that you can’t join as a job. Firefighter, pizza delivery, maid, etc should all be rabbit hole jobs just to give us more options!
You can just see how inferior Sims 4 is when you compare even this tiny little aspect. Sims 1: Fire fighter runs right in, puts the fire out, leaves. Sims 2: Fire fighter runs right in, puts the fire out, leaves. Sims 3: Fire fighter runs right in, puts the fire out, leaves. Sims 4: Fire fighters show up, hang out on the porch for a little while smiling like idiots and reacting to the sims standing outside, meander into the house, complain about the floor being dirty for some reason, THEN put the fire out and leave. It has none of the urgency I would expect from a scenario like this.
Okay, I know it's not related to the subject, but can we appreciate how in sims 1 sims would just... stand on the plate of food? I honestly thought they would do the little I can't get to the stove animation, but no just stand on the plate and cook! I had forgotten that was a thing
Cindy use the fireworks, my sims always set themselves on fire with those things! Good ol inside BBQ in the sims 2. I love that the sims 3 guy is dancing while his pregnant wife is the one trying to extinguish the fire. And sims 4, that alarm can be placed anywhere? Oh I didn't know that. I placed that hideous thing inside my kitchen with move objects lol. I didn't realize they had patched in fire fighters either, not that they are very good. First one looked like he was on a stroll to the park.
About fires from lightning in Sims 2, sometimes you get really unlucky and a fire does not get put out by the rain, because it stopped soon after the fire started. I had a willow tree get set on fire by lightning while the only adult in the house was at work and only the toddler and a nanny were in the house. The nanny never once went outside or reacted to the fire but several walkbys did. Tank Grunt was traumatized by the fire that wasn't even his problem.
I cant believe its almost 2021 and I have been watching since October 2019!I remember last year waiting for episodes of Pleasentview. My absolute fav youtuber xoxo
I'm trying to do a historical type playthrough and I have the campfire on my lot, outside with nothing but a few chairs around it to make sure my sims don't glitch and can't cook. And the amount of fires it has started for literally no reason is insane. Like, my toddler took a seat, and suddenly he was sitting on fire. I've never had to deal with so many fires before.
I know that this doesn't belong to this video but I just love your timeline 25 years after Sims 2 everything is amazing, no complains except Don Lothario son, his name is Primo(cousin in spanish in case if you just don't know) and that is the only thing that made me giggle, I love how everything is sooo detailed and perfect❤💕
🔥 To start a quick fire: Step 1: Purchase a fireplace Step 2: Purchase a rug place rug right next to or even under the fireplace if possible. Step 3: Place a piece of furniture also as close as you can to the fireplace and on top of rug. (I used a wooden chair/table) Step 4: Start a fire in fireplace then wait for the kindling. I used to use this method and I'd serve a plate for my guest at the table. I didn't think killing them would be so easy 😭
I can't believe I forgot this... But when I saw you play Sims 4 route to safety, in sims 2 and 3 they would stand in the fire and scream at it and almost always catch on fire. I remember having to cancel the fire interaction and get them to safety myself.... 😂😂😂
The firefighter career was one of my favorite things in Sims 3. Whenever they would use an axe to break down the door to rescue a Sim, it would look like the Sim on the other side was freaking out over an axe killer trying to get in. Also lost 2 sims in Sims 2 recently because I didn't realize the fire alarm had to be in the same room... I kept waiting for the firefighters to show up lol. I ended up reviving them but, yeah lesson learned on that.
Lol, I still remember what happened when I was playing Sims 4 and a fire started. So my sim's kid was on the neighbour's lot, playing with the neighbour kid, and then the neighbour's dad started a fire on the grill. The neighbour kid's dad started CRYING, he ran out of the house, his wife and kid also. I had to make my kid extinguish the fire out, because the neighbour family was just trembling outside and the firefighters somehow couldn't get in, and they were just standing, doing nothing.
You know what's the biggest fun in the Sims 3? If you have the mod that makes fires spread faster/in a greater range😂 Also, once my Sims 3 game was kinda buggy/glitchy (maybe because of the mods and/or the cheats), and a firefighter appeared in the middle of the street, at the crossing part. Every time I deleted him/her, another one has appeared😂
i found your channel the other day and i’ve been watching your comparison videos because they’re so interesting and you do them really well! thanks for another one :) they make me wish i could play ts2 again
What I like about S4 is that fires spread faster on wood and carpet floors than on stone or tile floors, but it can be deactivated. Also, parents of toddlers carry their kids out of the house when it burns and even run inside for it when it already burns. And I kids fires all the time thanks to Laundry Day. The Dryers are real fire hazards...

It's funny how many things you could say that sentence about.
When that dinky little firetruck pulled up in TS3 I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. Having never played the game before I was caught EXTREMELY off guard 😂
😆 😆 😆 I actually forgot about these little trucks because I've had the ambitions fire engine for so long! I was trying to play it off. HAHA
Skeptically Hopeful in the Sims 3 firefighters have the hidden fireproof trait with a chance to pass it on to their children.
@@doncarlin9081 I forgot about that! Those odd little hidden traits that can get passed down, like the military salute and fireproof.
I seriously never noticed with the kids, because, lol, not too many fires. Thanks for pointing that out.
I was always leaving the oven in Sims 3 while the food was being cooked and a fire was starting immediately xD
I agree! I like Sims 2 and 3 better. I think Sims 3 has a slight win over Sims 2 though, because of insurance money and the active career.
@@PleasantSims agreed!
Sims 3 is my favorite mainly cause you can be a firefighter
Same! I think Sims 3 wins because you get insurance money, the response time is realistic, AND you can actively play as a firefighter.
"It takes forever to start a fire in the Sims 3" *Looks at my Sims 3 save where I had a fire at least once a week until my witch Sim had enough magic skill to give magical fireproof upgrades* Yeah.... okay..........
Firefighters in the sims 4 are just ... so plain.
I Loved having affairs with NPCs in the sims 2.
when i was little i would use the fireworks in sims 1, set them off, then switch to buy mode before it lands and move the explosion inside. instant fire lol.
Oh! Good strategy! LOL
also sims 1 sims can walk through dishes on the ground? wow
@@jem5771 that's what I was thinking! I was like: "Cindy! Move the plate! She can't get to the stove! ...Oh nevermind then."
sims 3 is the best one i think, for all npc sims, i like how they have hidden traits that can be passed genetically, i love having fireproof pyromaniac babies when i marry a firefighter
I loved in the sims 3 how the sims traits affected the sims responses to fire! The brave ones would extinguish it without panic while cowards just freak out completely, etc!
ah yes, when traits actually had effects on sim behavior... *stares at sims 4*
All in all, The Sims 3 fed us in Ambitions with these careers!!
@Ann Ana the ghost hunting one is amazing, I'm exploring ambitions and generations right now
Hello! You influenced me into getting back into the older Sims games again, I’ll never look at Sims 4 the same 😂
So glad to hear it! I enjoy SIms 4 for challenges, but it's got nothing on Sims 2/3 for overall gameplay. They're the best!
children of firefighters also get the immune to fire hidden trait :D
I had an apartment in the sims 4 and a fire started EVERY DAMN DAY
Wow! Maybe I should have tried that!
This brings so many memories! The sims 2 was the first one I ever owned . ♥️ And I still have them
I love all the Sims games, but Sims 2 will always be my favorite!
@@PleasantSims it's always going to be the best! I do believe that it was the one where EA put the most effort. I love your videos! ♥️
Firefighters in the sims 4 are basically just a teaser at the moment 😕
They're about the same as Sims 1 - with the added bonus of getting insurance money.
Usually in my game the fire fighters don’t even do anything and my sims do it themselves
Stay tuned for a $40 My First Firefighters pack 🙄😂
@@kerrykent9325 I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened
In my game they show up and ignore the fire or act like they can’t get to it, even if it’s in an open area. They will also give up in the middle of putting out a fire and let it burn everything so they can go play video games.
Also, my classic way of starting fires to "accidentally" kill sims is to leave the food in the oven/on the stove and cancel the interaction and make them go do something else. Eventually, it will catch fire. Lol.
@N3 ma pretty sure it does, that's how fires always start for me
I loved the first comparison video you did and I love that you've kept going. No hate to Sims 4 but its pretty telling where it falls short gameplay wise, when you can compare multiple areas/mechanics and it falls short nearly every time 😅 the magical fire extinguisher that comes pre-packaged with every sim is so annoying!
The “being poor sucks” realism of Sims 3 be like
I hardly ever play the sims but I've definitely spent more time in the Sims 3. I've only managed to start a fire a few times though. I had no idea that they even added fire fighters in the Sims 4 or that there weren't any to begin with. I can't get myself to play the game long enough to start one 😂
The Sims 4 firefighters walked slow and took their good old time before they attempted to extinguish the fire lmao
In Sims 2 when there's a fire, and your sim has toddlers. They will pick up the toddlers and RACE them outside to get them to safety.
Now I'm remembering the Curious Brother's fire lol
That will haunt my dreams for years to come! LOL
It was chaotic
Also in the sims 1 if you put wood furniture near the fireplace, it can start a fire that spreads quicky ❤❤
Good to know!!
I feel like im most aspects sims 4 is just like sims 1 but without adult humor haha

I love the fact that in The Sims 3: Into the Future we have 2 NPS plumbots - firefighters)) that s nice
"we're looking at what makes firefighters HOT..."
me: *questioningly thinks of a sexy firefighter calendar*?
"or NOT."
me: oh.
I love that in Sims 2 you can learn fire prevention skill which makes Sims not freak out and put out the fire faster!
Great video! Love the comparison
Some additional info about fire and firefighters in the sims 4 (I’m not sure about the rest)
- Certain materials will have different fire proofing properties. Wooden and carpet floor are more frequent to catch on fire and spread fast compared to stone or iron floors
- if there’s a bigger fire, 3 firefighters will spawn instead.
- Sims wearing the firefighters suits (which is available in CAS) will get a confident moodlet and are fireproof
- pregnant sims are immune to fire (I think it’s the same for previous games too)
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS.
I love ur content and u
Thank you!! 😀
"it's so hard to start fires on the Sims 4"
GrayStillPlays: You sure bout that?
those damn laundry machines from sims 4 always catch on fire too
Which makes no sense lmao. The dryer maybe, but the washing machine???
The first fire I had in Sims 2 was started when the sim cooking died of old age. The family all gathered around to mourn it, and then had another fun little surprise when the fire started.
Also about Sims 3 fire fighters, if you have a baby with one, the child will have the Pyromaniac trait and be able to set stuff on fire and also survive on fire for up to 3 hours.
it's easy to start a fire if you use the washing machine/dryer and don't clean the lint filter (??? i didn't know the word i hope the translator was correct lmao)
Oh good point! I forgot about that method!
I’ve been craving a Cindy fire in so long - and here’s my fix!
Haha! This video is full of them! 🔥
7:50, I still remember that bug where a lightning would hit a tree and it would stay on fire forever xD
In the sims 3 the best way to start a fire is by putting something on the stove/oven and stop the action without going back
I remember when I first got Sims 4 and a fire started on my lot, I was so confused as to why I couldn't call for a firefighter!
You're an MVP for going through all of that work to get that fire going in TS4 :D
I absolutely will!
Yay I’ve been asking for sims 1 to be included!!
Edit: the nostalgia is REAL holy crap
Definitely loved Sims 3's fire fighters best. There's also a hidden trait you can get in that game, Pyromaniac I think, if you have a kid with a fire fighter. I don't know if it has to be one of the NPCs or if you can have a sim in the profession who'll pass the trait to their offspring.
i'll never forget playing ts1 for the first time when i was 5 and just burning my house
Here's a fun story:
I had a family in The Sims 3 of 7 or 8 people, two were the parents and all the others were their children.
It was the mother's birthday, so I had them all wake up at dawn to celebrate her birthday (with eight people there everyone's schedules were crazy, and I wanted the whole family to be there)
Everyone started cheering as she was about to blow the candles... And suddenly, the cake's candles started a fire. (Yes, you read that right. The CANDLES started a fire. It never happened before, I was so shocked. It could have been because the cake was on a wooden table, but I had plenty of birthday cakes on that table and nothing ever happened...)
So I had everyone evacuate the house and call the firefighters, but they all wanted to come in because they were hungry and wanted to eat the cake (seriously??) so they all stayed at the door, the scene was almost comical
Finally the firefighters arrived, but they couldn't come in because, as I already said, everyone was blocking the path by standing at the door. So I had to make them walk away, but they kept on panicking and wanting to come in. 😩
Finally the firefighters managed to go in, but as they did, they just said something like "I'm sorry, but I can't extinguish the flames. I hope they'll be put out." (Really?? You didn't even try!)
So finally, the second eldest son stepped up and extinguished all the flames!
Cindy is including sims 1! Love it!
The most fires I've had in sims 3 have been from birthday cakes. 😆
Oh wow, I never realised it was THAT late that firefighters got added to Sims 4! 😱
I was playing the sims 4 while watching this and my sim set the grill on fire!!🤣
Legend has it that when you start a fire in the sims, another fire will start somewhere else😂
Lets do almost NOTHING at all to updates in the Sims 4!"
Is that what they were really thinking? Lol
Wish I knew!
The curious brothers loved this video!🔥

I haven’t even watched the video yet, but I wanna say I love ur videos! They are feeding my sim cravings while my laptop is away 😊
Firefighters were called, two of them caught on fire and died standing in
the bathroom watching my sim lay on the floor.
It's so disgusting and beautiful
For me they always start a fire in sims 3 when they automatically leave the pancakes in the oven..
Lol, for The Sims 4 you could have just lit a firework indoors. That makes a fire start 100% of the time.
Cops next?
They're on the list! 💙

Yeah
this is the only time ive ever seen betty newbiein Sims 1 cook and NOT start a fire
I KNOW!! I had her cook like 15 plates of food before she caught one on fire!
I cant believe its almost 2021 and I have been watching since October 2019!I remember last year waiting for episodes of Pleasentview. My absolute fav youtuber xoxo
Not gonna lie, I didn't even know firefighters were back at all and thought this was just going to be straight up shade at Sims 4 for not having them
I'm trying to do a historical type playthrough and I have the campfire on my lot, outside with nothing but a few chairs around it to make sure my sims don't glitch and can't cook.
Thanks! Primo is named after Don's grandfather Primo Fiorello - sims.fandom.com/wiki/Primo_Fiorello
@@PleasantSims aha now it makes sence your work is amazing🥰
🔥 To start a quick fire:
Step 1: Purchase a fireplace
Step 2: Purchase a rug place rug right next to or even under the fireplace if possible.
Step 3: Place a piece of furniture also as close as you can to the fireplace and on top of rug. (I used a wooden chair/table)
Step 4: Start a fire in fireplace then wait for the kindling.
If you have the mod that makes fires spread faster/in a greater range😂
Also, once my Sims 3 game was kinda buggy/glitchy (maybe because of the mods and/or the cheats), and a firefighter appeared in the middle of the street, at the crossing part. Every time I deleted him/her, another one has appeared😂
i found your channel the other day and i’ve been watching your comparison videos because they’re so interesting and you do them really well! thanks for another one :) they make me wish i could play ts2 again
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching! 💙
