The chord changes...pure brilliance...this is songwriting on a whole other level. Whoever said it’s about three chords and the truth needs to give this a listen - we’re not in Nashville anymore - and the truth is this is pure genius.
That was fantastic! Randy one of the great guitar players and multi talented Burton, with one of the great voices of the last 50 years. "You took away everything I had, you put the hurt on me". What an incredible line!
I was lucky enough to see guys twice. Once with Guess Who and again as a duet. Randy Bachman has to be my favorite guitar play and Burton has a great voice.
I totally agree with Burton Cummings. Not only is Undun my favorite Guess Who song, but I feel it is one of the all time great songs. I've played this song over and over on many occasions.
Bachman and Cummings, Canada's version Lennon and McCartney and Jagger and Richards rolled into one. Randy and Burton produced some great music and "Undun" is i.m.h.o. Randy's best solo contribution to The Guess Who's legacy. A great song well performed by Randy and Burt.
Burton Cummings is one of the greatest male singers of the seventies and eighties. This is two of the Guess Who's best songs and I love them as a group and one thing that I have always loved about Burton Cummings is that he's not only a great singer he's intelligent and you can see that in everything he does and says.
Two awesome songs that evoked memories of 1969. Burton had changed very little in 30 years. Randy of course was always big in size. The people who were at this show are blessed to have been there and seen this.
Perfection! The musical chemistry between this pair - together they are greater than the sum of their parts, like Lennon-McCartney, Jagger-Richards, Justin Hayward-John Lodge, Hall & Oates, Tom Petty and Mike Campbell, Steven Tyler-Joe Perry, etc. Would like to hear more of the flute during "Undun," Burton plays it so well. Randy's voice just keeps getting better over the years.
I have no idea how he could hold a note vocally at 4:57 for soooo long, without a breath on the word, “come” (undun). The audience was spot on for their applause after that moment. I tried it and I turned blue, halfway through. Amazingly, I heard on a radio interview he was still a smoker at age 62. Well, this song vocal is just amazing.
Saw The Guess Who at The OC Fair in Early 2000 For $10.00 !!!,!, Yes We Underpaid!!!,! What A GREAT TREAT,!,!!,!, Will Never Forget It!!!,! ManyThanx You Guys!!!,!,!,
My very first concert I saw was the Guess Who in summer of '75 in Chicago. Didn't know the history of Randy until BTO came along. But Cummings/Bachman have written some of the best songs out that can freeze you in time when you hear them.
Always loved this song, thought it was the best song written and also best song vocal Cummings just a great singer, performer! and the flute just adds a kick in the ass!
Well done as it is being performed by Burton an Randy only - no background accompement. The sure held their own - would like to see more of them together
We just saw Burton Cummings at Northfield Park in Ohio on Saturday. For a 76 year old man it was phenomenal!! The last time we saw him was almost 40 years ago. He's still got it!!! 60'th anniversary tour, how many can say that? Hope to see him again 🤞
There's a ton of monster legends from Canada. I love you all. I hear you all down here in Wisconsin. Triumph, bto, Bryan Adams, rush, shania Twain. List goes on. Sooo much talent! Thank you Canada.
Seen them both a few times and once together. Just spectacular. Two of my favorite musicians ever. Randy is a monster player and Burton’s voice is just heaven to me. He’s a killer pianist also.
Totally awesome!! The Guess Who split up just before I discovered them!!! I feel like I missed so much. But I still love these songs!!!! No auto-tune here!! Burton's voice is really that amazing!
Randy n Burton should be nominated in the rock n roll hall of Fame!
when's the last time, you heard someone so famous as a youngster, sing even better 30 yrs later. He is a fantastic success story.
The chord changes...pure brilliance...this is songwriting on a whole other level. Whoever said it’s about three chords and the truth needs to give this a listen - we’re not in Nashville anymore - and the truth is this is pure genius.
Why don't you say what you really mean😂
Wow. Well said!
Great Canadian band! The age of great musicians like this is slipping away.
-ING? Dude. I hate to tell you, But they AL4EADY GONE!
These guys are LEGENDS. Dare I say Canada's greatest songwriting duo...
They are among the best Canadian song writers
Joni Michell female example
Joni for sure, and her pal from The Band, Robbie.
Yes you should. I said it before and I’ll say it again they are the Lennon & McCartney, Jagger & Richard of Canada !
Randy Bachman way underrated
Randy is one of the most underrated song writers and guitar player ever. Huge talent!
SINGER TOO - he gets his notes, finely, finely tuned - he's in a league all to himself almost.
Now this is just pure talent. Hard to find this kinda stuff nowadays.....
I agree. Burton Cummings was not only a great vocalist in a great band he was also such an intelligent great guy. I love Guess Who.
Maybe you're not looking in the right place. Pink is pure talent. We're fortunate to have greats from the past and now🙏
Great group please induct this group into the Rock n'Roll hall of fame. What's the wait
They are to good
Hall of fame is bogus..
Wait, what???? They’re not in it?? Damn. I think people take their music for granted.
They're all Deaf and Blind!!!!
Burton still has his distinctive singing voice. Saw him in Vegas 4 or 5 years ago. Just excellent.
Burton Cummings! The King of Canada!!!
One of my favourite songs....Took me on a haunting journey back to my teens.

The essence of pure music pure talent what else can you ask for
I totally agree with Burton Cummings. Not only is Undun my favorite Guess Who song, but I feel it is one of the all time great songs. I've played this song over and over on many occasions.

Randy bachman is not just a fine guitar player!! Great song writer, and a great vocalists. Lots of love from Wisconsin.

I so agree with you. They were as great a song writing team as those you have mentioned. You forgot Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
Wow. These two Canadians, man. What guitar playing. What a voice. 👍
Great song. These two belong in the rock and roll hall of fame ❤
Junior High and high school music makes me reminisce about a lot of good times.
DECADES before I had any idea that I discovered jazz music Undun was my favorite GH tune.
What I still love is jazz guitar.
Just saw Burton last night, he still sounds so good at 70 years old... thanks to these guys for the great tunes!

Frank n Beans.
Pure talent on Jazz guitar playing and rhythmic phrases, plus clean vocal - Can't beat that quality - no hiding behind the bass and drums.

For years I thought that Lou Reed sang "She's Come Undone" till today. This is a true guitar players song. Please forgive me for not realizing it.
Always loved these two guys music---Randy's guitar, Burton's vocals, piano and flute still one of the best musical combinations ever!
+jwa718 Delete? Yeah I agree--always show nonsensical views when we players are looking for the guitar players hands in motion.
