I recommend that you save this playlist and refer to it later. These methods I am showing you are for any beginner who want to raise quails for meat and eggs.
I have already answered most of the doubts you may get. Believe me, All of this started out as an experiment. But eventually, I decided to make this process user friendly and share my ideas with every one.
Thank you so much for sharing your design! I absolutely love it. Could you please add a cut list and or a diagram of measurements that include the top and lower tier?
give me sometime. I just joined a new job and its hectic...i will share the measurements on g drive
@@VIDEOEPPO any update on this?

How do I get the measurements. Great video
Your videos are great keep up
You impacting alot of young farmers
thanks for saying that...I am glad!. Thank you!
Just discovered your work, it's lovely and well thought out. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much. Means a lot!
I came across a porch replacement that used 2x4's cut in half (2x2's). This is great for free cage framing, but the flooring support crossmembers should be as thin as structurally sound so as not to collect poop. I've found that fiberglass rods (driveway snow markers) or metal dowel rods (preferably non threaded) for floor support. Drill holes on either side of the frames initial 2x4 centerline, then rip it to get dowel holes that are flush with the top of the floor frame wood. Makes it more slf cleaning and metal can be sourced from local scrap yard
Nice thought. Thanks a bunch

@@VIDEOEPPO You're welcome. See you. Big greetings.
This cage is not good for quail they should never be on wire floors.
It would be very helpful to a have a full detailed description of dimensions of each part/component.
Great video, thanks and take care... I am watching you and I am not alone!
Thanks, you too!
this channel is straight up perfect for my random brain
glad you think so.
Great video and work. THANKS! The opening for the eggs is about 2" Do you have issues with birds escaping??
You caught me there... Yes, there is.I reduced the size by adding another plank of wood!... Thanks for noticing. I forgot to mention this
Please provide the schematics with the measurements in centimeters, if available. It'll simplify things and not let room for any speculations.
Just made the measurements....will upload them soon.
What do you call those clamps you're using?
I guess those are called Corner clamps
Excellent job!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
How many bird can be accommodated for this size.?
Some folks allocate 4 quails per square foot. The one that I made here is 4.5 sq.ft. With this size cage you can raise up to 15 quails. There will be enough room. I don't believe in cramping them. Also, Some will die...due to unknown reasons or may fight and kill each other. Introducing new birds in the colony will agitate them. So start with 16-18...After six months there will 12-14 ....adequate space.
What are the dimension you was ment to leave in the description
thank you, very nice
Thank you too!
Great video. Thank you
Glad you liked it!
Great buddy.
Thanks for the visit
height and width?
how much did you pay for the 1mm-Aluminium-sheet-metal, mesh and PVC pipes/what length/dia are the pipes?
dia of the pipe is 3/4 inch and aluminum is sold based on weight and will vary every day. 250-300 per kg
Thanks for sharing!!
My pleasure!!
1st comment sago
After longtime I'm listening your wonderful voice..
Content also do good..👍
Thank you so much Sago!
What size or type of nails are you using?
30 mm nails
I like ! Thanks!
Thank you too!
How much does it all costs?
depends on where you source it from. In my case, the wood is recycled from pallet wood. The PVC pipe and hardware mesh are from local shops, the nipple feeder from online, and combined with my existing tools and abilities, this quail cage for two rack system costs around 3500 INR
Do you have measurements. I saw other people ask but I don’t see it posted anywhere.
yeah, I am held up due to the construction work of my home. But the measurement are not very difficult. The wooden runners are cut from pallet wood. So base on the thickness of the palet wood,I cut the wooden runners to make it square. The back side o the cage is 11 inches and front is 12 to make a taper for the egg roll out. The rest I figured as I moved along. hope this helps in someway
Do you have the cut list? Or a diagram w measurements?
No sir, I don't. I kept improvising as I proceeded
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
Great video thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Requested for dimensions and cut list but there has been no response.
I am so so sorry. we moved to a new house, and things are haywire. I wanted to measure and send the dimensions, but I thought ,I could share that info when I make a similar one again. When I was doing this build, honestly, things got intuitive. I deviated from sketch and plans... Will send it soon
Awesome 👌👌👌
Thank you! Cheers!
hi will you be able to build a cage and courier it. if yes what will you charge??
Believe me courier charges will be more than the making cost. I would suggest getting a local carpenter to make it, or making it yourself will be the best way
How many quail can you fit in that cage?
in one square feet of space, you can raise 4 of them. If you are going raqising them for meat, may be 5 per sq.ft. In this cage I could raise 20 quails in one deck
What are the dimensions 3’ wide by what ?
3 feet by 1.5 feet by 1.5 feet
Very nice!!
Thanks for the visit
What"s parrot wood ?
Pallet wood....sorry about my pronunciation
How do I go about finding how you made your feeders
it's on a separate playlist on my channel. To save you some effort, here is the link
ua-cam.com/video/NMQBKUhq65A/v-deo.html
At 2.05 you told you are having power tools , tell us how to borrow power tools from you for our work finishing , we will surely return the tools . 3.42 air compressor comes to field work . 11.45 feeder edges are sharp make it blunt . 11.59 eggs must reach softly put rubber at the end when it rolls fast and come to bottom without rubber quail egg is ready for omlette . Make a video of fully loaded quails in cage .
Nice Critical comment. Feeder will be covered as a searate video. The eggs roll out until there green mesh. After that it stops on the bigger mesh. The wooden frames are only for the safety. The fully loaded cage will be shown in the last video . I need to place the cage under the stairs where I cannot film. I cannot disturb the quails now , otherwise they will stop laying eggs. So Once the set up complete, I will transfer the quails to the new cage
Bro that thing is made of toothpicks, spend the extra 4$ and make it 2x2
Its almost an year and I had kept this cage outdoor. Its still intact. I guess it works for the price.
