Learned a lot from your video's. Just one suggestion. I tried the watering cups that you have a link to and my quail could never get the water by pecking at the yellow part. I tried another cup and they leaked constantly by over filling the cup. Finally found a cup that is working well for me..... RentACoop Automatic Chicken Water Nipple Cup Waterer Kit for Poultry

Hello! I’ve been to two different Home Depot’s and Ace and can’t find the 1/2 inch coupling with 1/4 threaded part. Is there somewhere special to get it?
Only one seal/bushing would be needed since it only needs sealed from the outside of the fitting. sealing from inside bucket and outside is a double seal.

I really need help!! I keep making these and every time my tap in the bucket leaks. I don't think I'm getting the two pieces screwed together right enough. I'll do it and then silicone inside and out but as soon as I disturb the bucket the first time it all starts leaking. What am I doing wrong??
HELLO! My husband and I build your three cage enclosure with the egg roll floors. And I just recently built THIS watering system. I had some leaking issues due to not use enough glue, I fixed that but now my quail have not figured out how to peck the yellow piece in the watering cups and I have to push it and fill the little water cups for them. Have you had this issue before? If so, did your quail eventually figure out how to use the pecking cups?
Another great video! Other than having to fill them more frequently than a 5-gallon bucket, is there anything else inherently faulty with the quart Mason jar with the red, round trough? Thanks!
Terry, does the angle of the roll-out floor have a negative effect on the Mason jar waterer? Should it be positioned on the low side against the front wall to prevent tipping over?
I have been raising quail for about 3 years in a converted dog cage and am planning to build your cages. Wondering with your watering system if you have any suggesting for keeping them from freezing during the winter months?
I’ve seen a few guys just put a water tower in the cage in the winter. Slightly Redneck does this. A gallon milk jug with 1-1/4 holes 3 inches up is enough for 10 birds for a day. And they are free.
I've been binging on your videos today. Really thoroughly presented and good units. I have a question regarding your hutch. Why did you choose to have the doors swing up rather than down?
