Funnily enough, today as I was leaving my apartment to exercise, a Tuxedo Cat I decided to mentally name Mordecai sauntered up to me, meowed, rubbed around the legs, and then jumped on my chest going for the face. I should mention I’m allergic.

Murder pie is a real recipe? Or is it just an euphemism?
Im not really sure. It's probably a euphemism since I can't find anything about it online, but it might refer to crow pie (a group of crows is called a murder), since the expression, to eat a crow pie means admitting fallibility. Who knows.
