i love this animatic and i have to say you perfectly captured Max grief and rage he stepped on others to make him feel better about himself no one actually cared for him its implied his dad was abusive and how he thought the ruse to scare him was some kind of party just for him you could see the joy like someone cared for him guinely only to get brutally killed its sad and they quite literally damned him hes never going to feel peace and nones ever going to actually care for him the real max

Even after EIGHT MONTHS. This was the first time I had seen Nerdy Prudes Must Die. This song is INSANELY GOOD. It’s TRAGIC. And I adore how you portray Max and Richie here

Ugh, Max looking down at his dead body as he repeats the initial question is so visceral. No matter what kind of person he was, it must be such a horrible feeling to die and then realize that...nobody truly prayed for him, mourned him. They only regretted his absence cause he was a strong player, otherwise they were ok with his disappearance/death. It's such a tragic thing, and to hear the anger inside his voice? You animated that anger and sadness so well, especially when he redirects it back to Richie, to truly clarify that he will do the same to him: kill him and then watch how little his death matters to others.

This song means a lot to me, animating it myself is one of my long term art goals. I hope you enjoy the process as much as you can. Even if you stopped here, what you got already is an achievement of it's own, so take your time.

I like how you don’t portray him as entirely a villain, like yes he’s a absolute asshole, but did he really deserve to die??? like just because someone can be mean or cruel does not IMEDIATLY mean they deserve death. They really did face the consequences for what they did, again he’s a asshole through and through, but they had no right to kill him. And they got punished
