Your recipe is pretty accurate. We Armenians also make Gata with yogurt. Incidentally, when pronouncing it, it's the softer "T" sound, and not the hard, like Gada. Thank you!
I am Mexican and I'm a big fun of Nazook, my family loves this pastry. I have tried many recipes and this one is the Best. ( I make them with Greek yogurt )
Hello, thanks finally i made it .folloewed the steps, but my husband want it to be cut not 8 gata ,but 16. In that case how long should i bake them so inside bake properly.
If i do not use flour still can i use just butter and how much should be use in the same amount of flour that you use ?than you for the incredible work
Walnuts are a common addition to gata, but they aren't in every version and certainly aren't required :) If you'd like to add walnuts, please feel free! It will be delicious.
@@NoFrillsKitchen oh how cute of you, so sweet speaking in spanish, i don't understand so much spanish oddly enough, portuguese and spanish are too similar, but for it's hard to understand i don't know why 🤣🤣🤣
really? Its a recipe and you have to bring your Azeri hate here? Gata is Armenian, I know Azerbaijan just want to claim everything like a toddler, but its not gonna happen.

I really wouldn't recommend making the filling without the flour as the consistency wouldn't be right :)
