As a 50 year old man, I think your opinions are heavily biased, based on your generational view point.
Years ago shortly after Jimmy Buffett hit the music scene I asked a friend of mine whose family supplied juke boxes to bars to put Jimmy Buffett on the juke box in the small neighborhood bar near my house. The song she chose had just come out in 1973 was called "Why Don't We Get Drunk" and immediately became a hit in juke boxes all across the US. It's not Jimmy's normal type of music but it's pretty funny and NSFW. He's great whith ballads, two of my faves are "The Wino and I Know" and "A Pirate's Life At 40."
@@bodyloverz30 Hi George. I agree with you on how the ship was back in 1995 when I boarded. At that time it was one of the biggest ships and it was beautiful! I loved working onboard and having the Italians as my captain and staff captain. They were all so welcoming. I wished I could have stayed longer but life goes on and I wanted a family on land. For married couples is a big sacrifice to work onboard.🥰
LOL When that ship was new, I wrote the brochure. It was the Costa Classica and was ever-so-luxurious because most of the staterooms had a window. 😂 I’m old!
"Euro Lux," ship was controversial for having so much marble and only a little wood. Grand Classica cost over $2 Hundred Million Dollars, (1991) making her the costliest cruise vessel ever built. If you do the bridge tour, you will see the plaques, of her previous World Tours.

I’ve been sick with Covid for a week. I stumbled upon this video and laughed so much. Definitely what the doctor ordered! I think I’ve watched at least 10 additional videos from your channel the last 2 days. New subscriber!!
As long as the bed is comfortable and the room is clean, it will be ok. I agree the shower is the pits. The ship doesn't look too bad for an older ship. It doesnt have to be fancy to have a good time.
The urine, ect. smell would not be good for me. I would get sick, and I would not be able to eat. Hopefully one day they will get the drains and drainage system working in proper order.
So glad you two took this cruise, so I don't have to. Thanks for suffering in the trenches for us all. You were diplomatic and your disclosures were funny as always!
I was on that ship for New Years Eve 2023 and it was wonderful! No smell. Great staff, great music, many happy people. Yummy food. We LOVED it! I cruise often. 4 times in the last year. Royal is my favorite but I highly recommend Margaritaville for the price.
Oh! I’m happy to hear that they repaired their drainage system! I will definitely look into this one, if only for the beautiful views from all of the lovely windows, and for the delicious food! I’m happy for you! I would most likely be traveling alone. Since you are an experienced cruiser on this particular line, would you mind me asking if you were aware if they had any themed events for single ladies? Thank you, in advance! Cheers! 🎉😊🥂
The guys did mention that you could easily find a mainstream line for $75 a night, but I don’t know if that would include the “Cruises to Nowhere” or the 3 day cruises. I would think that they would actually maybe charge a little more, because they only have 2 or 3 days to get your money from you, whereas they have 4, 5, 6, 7, ect. days on the longer cruises. Also, the Cruises to Nowhere do not stop at any port, so no chance of selling their overpriced port excursions, unless they had something to offer in the town before departure. But, he was on point on the pricing, so one can check the rates on the mainstream cruises, before booking this one, if they don’t mind sailing on a larger and modern ship.
@@chicagogyrl4846 I think you may be a little confused. It seems Ben and David took the cruise after this woman did, so if they were experiencing issues with the draining system, it's safe to say that her experience isn't confirmation that they are fixed. Secondly, any cruise can be a cruise to nowhere since the "overpriced port excursions" are optional. There are numerous people who go on Carnival cruises specifically and stay on the ship the entire time because you get the most bang for your buck. Lastly, they charge per day per person per room, so the length of the cruise doesn't matter. The only time it's different is if you're travelling solo since you'll be charged for the entire room instead of on a per person basis.
Thank you for sharing the disability access of the ship. My husband has been a wheelchair user for over 50 years and we love cruising so all information on access is greatly appreciated.
We just got off of Margaritaville at Sea and had a wonderful experience. No smells for us, loved the small ship. The vibe was fun and the crew was wonderful. It's not a floating palace but it is a good time.
Yeah I took the same cruise last year and I actually liked it Yes it is dated but it was a nice relaxing cruise...... And it wasn't a lot of people there cuz that's what I kind of hate about the newer bigger ships It's just too many people and it's so overcrowded... I don't really like that so, This cruise was just perfect
I have been hearing things on and off about the smells from the bathrooms, mainly in lower cabins? Glad you had a good time. I don't mind old ships if they are maintained. For 2-3 nights, I don't need all the bells and whistles. I wish they would go to Nassau instead, that's where the Margaritaville resort is, would make sense to have the ship used as a ferry to get there.
@@jlpkbrb1086What are you even talking about? Jimmy Buffet was one of the nicest people around and did his best to bring people together! He supported multiple democratic candidates throughout his life and tired to stay out of politics much as possible because he knew politics separated people! I sailed on that ship as the Costa Classica around the Greek Islands in 1997. At that time, it was considered a fairly large ship. How times have changed! It’s hilarious the elevator still speaks Italian 😂
I've never seen you look guys so uncomfortable (it's adorable). Thank you for going through this so we don't have to. You found all the positives and were very respectful to the brand. Props to you for being very inclusive. There's definitely a market for Margaritaville.
"Where are the sick? This isn't a hospital" "David had emergency dentist and is on antibiotics and isn't feeling well..." 😂 I hope David is feeling much better, this made me giggle. There's your pass to flee the ship first!
I laughed my ass off Boys! Thanks for taking one for the team! Ship was built in the 90’s but looks like the 70’s to me! I could see my family rolling up in our 73 Chevrolet Caprice Classic, ( Look it up!), to embark!
Rumors say the Margarita Ville ship is missing a couple of life boats that were dropped due to someone moving a lever. Investigations still being done.
Great video! For the value, I think this cruise is worth the money. We've paid more for a single evening on a sailboat that offered crappy appetizers and lousy live music. Sometimes, it's fun to go slumming! Especially when it's so inexpensive! BTW: Your commentary was the best part of the video!!! Thanks for sharing.
I saw a Disney UA-camr cruise on this ship earlier this year, and your video has allowed me to see it in a new light! Nothing in life is perfect, especially on the Margaritaville 😂 BUT, this is a perfect example of “life is what you make it.” Rather than complain, and trash talk things, you found the silver linings and *chose* to have fun together! Your positivity is so refreshing! You have a new subscriber ❤
Chivalry is not dead on Margaritaville at Sea. Lol I suppose “sick first” is referring to people who may have been injured in whatever calamity caused a abandon shop situation.
There's nothing wrong with retro, ancient styling, as long as it's clean and doesn't smell. There are people that will pay a lot just for the nostalgia.
Definitely, the fact that they cannot appreciate the vintage vibe and the fact that the decor is maintaining that style is such a shame. I love the simple lines.
HI guys. I used to worked on this ship back in 1995 when it was called Costa Classica! Yeap! I was a crew member and it was the last ship I worked on. I met my hubby there and after two contracts, I debarked and never went back. I have a video also on how it looked when it was part of the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.
I think I was on it back in 2018 as part of the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line. They had 2 ships at the time, not a bad cruise, really quick and relaxing for me as I worked at a pediatrician's office so I was happy to just get away.
This ship should be renamed "The Walmart of the Seas". It made me itch just looking at this video. Thank you for putting yourself out there for us. You really took one for the team.
My husband and I had a new personal computer in 1985. My husband was on his sabbatical and publish or perish. I was in my third year of law school, so not having to use a typewriter was a blessing. That said, the screen was 5 inches square and the letters and everything were green and glowy. Nothing was WYSIWYG. When you turned on underlining, for example, you had to remember to turn it off when you were done with underlining. Otherwise, the underlining would not turn off until you “started” to underline again. It was a toggle on, toggle off system. You would then end up with everything you wanted underlined not underlined and everything you want plain, underlined. Plus you wouldn’t realize it until you printed it, because you could only see the small toggle symbol and not the actual underlining. Same with bolding and italics. The computer itself was the size of a large portable sewing machine case. Nevertheless, it was great to have.
The sausages are in patty form. That is a pretty normal way to have sausage in the U.S. It’s just the ground pork that’s been seasoned and formed into patties.
Love to you both! You are both SO charming, SO kind. Even when you are not happy, you still find kind things to say. (HEY, I HOPE YOUR TOOTH FELT BETTER REALLY SOON, TOO! I'm so sorry that happened!) Never been on a cruise in my life, but I've found you fellas to be so fun to watch and to live vicariously through. Best to you both wonderful people. You are both so fun to watch!
This was actually one of my favourite vids you have done. Fair play for having an open mind and rather than being annoyed to use humour is a great thing to see. Well done both
For me, part of being into cruising is the history of it too. When that ship was new it was average size. I actually think that ships today are way too large. I appreciate every cruise I have been on and so glad that I got to sail on several ships that are no longer around. I think it is unfair to compare this ship to new ones, it isn’t trying to compete with the ships of today.
We went on the Oriana for our honeymoon 40 odd years ago. Looking back on it, the ship was pretty grim in comparison to today's standards, but it was our first cruise and we enjoyed ourselves. The hospitality industry was pretty basic back then, clubs, pubs, hotels - you name it. We'd had no experience of anything fancier, so to us, it more than met expectations.
First off..I’m old.. lived my life in Key West where Jimmy Buffett started off in the 70’s. Agree that ship could use a good scrubbing, but it’s obvious it’s a “theme “experience. It’s very cute to me.. The 70’s in Key West were so fun..lots of hippies..and the accompanying “smokes” ! I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it and had no idea who Jimmy was. Margaritaville has become a chain brand. Thanks for the video.. it brought back many great memories.
What I love about y’all’s blog. You guys do not bs around . You give your watchers the honest truth about your travel. I hope David feels better . Been there .
"Welcome, Kainley Lamb" I literally laughed out loud when David said he didn't know who Jimmy Buffett was, "Who's this guy they keep playing on TV"🤣 I booked the Margaritaville for the Heroes Sail Free campaign for this Wednesday & watched every video review I could find. When I saw on IG that you were in Palm Beach, I got excited🤪 I couldn't wait for this review, & it didn't disappoint. I agree that Margaritaville is more in line with a ferry than a traditional cruise. I appreciate you both, & thanks for the honest & fair review!
This ship was my first ever cruise. I enjoyed every minute of it. I feel there is more positive than negative about this cruise. Only cost us $50 each. Moving up to Carnival cruise you can definitely see the difference but for a 2 day get away cruise it was fabulous. Y'all are hilarious on your videos.
Oh David!! My husband and I usually stay quiet, even though we are LOYAL watchers, but we want to make sure you are doing okay! We are some of you biggest fans! I hope you don't have an abscess tooth! We knew this trip was going to be just like your video and you proved us right. Sorry you had to have a bad trip. Ben/David keep doing your trips our family would miss you so much! Hugs and love - Your Canadian fan club
I'm really glad you showed this but honestly sorry you had to experience it, wow, really praying you find a way to recover from this experience (if you can call it that), all the best, Love you guys, you are the sunlight in my days
The thing about "cheap cruises" is that you end up paying more to get a worse experience. If you could get by on the base fare, it would be a bargain, but all the add in charges to make it reasonable end up making it more expensive than a Royal Caribbean cruise or the like.
Such an eye opening video, thanks for your insight. My cousin, her son & I did a Royal Caribbean cruise in the Mediterranean 8 years ago & had an issue with our balcony cabin & the bathroom. The problem was several cabins in that area & my cousin, a Navy officer, went straight up to guest services & demanded that they move us to a new cabin. So our 12 day cruise in a balcony turned into an 11 day cruise in a Jr. Suite - VERY SWEET cabin on Serenade of the Seas. It is toxic to breath in bathroom issues, so I wish you could have been moved.
I cruised that ship... the smell in the room was awful... sewage gas... the rest of the ship didn't smell. Just my hallway and cabin. They now have a bigger, newer ship "Islander" out of Tampa. I've booked a cruise on her, hope there is no sewer smell. Islander has balconies, which I booked, just in case. Here's hoping for the best.
Thank you for mentioning the difficulty of getting around for those in a chair. Mobility issues are so important for many of us who can not get around as easily anymore. I have not been able to go on a cruise in 20 years and my husband and I really miss it.
As a First Responder, a few months ago they were offering this cruise for free to us. When I realized it was really only one day, I determined that it wasn’t worth it for the cost and effort of getting there from Virginia. After your review, I’m very glad I didn’t bother. I also make a point of avoiding short and cheap Caribbean cruises, due to the alcohol problems. I’m spoiled by modern cruising. Thanks for taking one for the team!
we have the equivalent in the southern hemisphere - the pacific island cruises. Sounds so romantic, but the reality can be pretty grim, especially in the summer vacation period (late December to end of January) and any school holiday period. The uninhabited or barely inhabited islands are still nice and unspoiled, but the two main ports of Noumea and Port Vila are best avoided. Port Vila it is advised to only do the cruise shore tours as it can be a dangerous place if you don't know your way around or you're relying on locals hanging around at the cruise terminal. $5 taxi to get into the city, $200 to get back to the ship is the least of your worries there.
It's the cheap 3 or 4 day Caribbean cruises that all the drunks sign-up for and cause all the problems and fights that get on the news.@@doriangray6985
I am a first responder too and it was offered to me for free. I ended up not going because plane tickets were more than I was willing to pay for. I see I dodged a bullet lol. I ended up going on a Disney Cruise with hubby and children. No regrets!!
Thanks for another honest review of your experiences. I always appreciate you both so much for it! So sorry David was not feeling well. I know how debilitating a tooth/jaw pain can be. I hope he was able to find some relief when you got back to port.
I was on it in January 2020 when it was a Bahamas paradise cruise. The spa was very good and the kids club staff were excellent with my daughter who is autistic. I don’t remember it smelling bad. We had a lovely time. Our cabin was in great shape. I wish it still went to Nassau with a cruise and stay like it used to.
We went on this cruise a couple of months ago. Overall it wasn’t a bad cruise, and the staff was great, but we didn’t go in with high expectations. It’s definitely an older ship, without all the amenities of the newer ones, but it makes for a fun, quick getaway.
@@ksessa1010 we've not been on costa but have done the quick get away once or twice on similar lines. As you said as long as you understand that, don't go with great expectations and have a plan for managing the bits you know you won't like, you can still have a good enough time to make it worthwhile.
I've never even heard of this ship before. When Ben said to David about not being such a princess about the shower, I thought, David probably wishes he was on Princess at that moment!
The Indian dessert is called Gulab Jamun; it usually has a unique texture due it being made with cheese & is served with rose or orange blossom honey-like sauce. You handled it well!
I have NEVER watched one of your videos before, and I am glad that I did! You two had me in stitches! I loved your view of the ship and felt like I was there with you. Keep it up, you're doing something right!

I admire you guys for getting out of your comfort zone and going on such an old and outdated ship. You guys cruise the newest and best ships. I hope that did not spoil you too much. I know I would be 😆
I'm catching up on videos cos only found these two recently On this one I managed to put the subtitles on and couldnt get them off Feel very sorry for the people that actually need them because I don't think Ive laughed so much for ages They were hilarious and nothing like what the boys were saying Well onwards and upwards to find another video xx
Lol, David's reaction to the Indian dessert (they're called gulab jamun in Indian restaurants here) was funny! They're basically a donut hole (TimBit to us Canadians) drenched in cardamom scented simple syrup. They're good when you're expecting them, but I can understand his face reaction at first!
Ben - our first cruise was in 1986, for our first anniversary, and it was WAY nicer than that! Beautifully decorated, excellent accommodations, and great dining. So, 37 years ago was way more chic and trendy than what you are seeing on this cruise! I think this cruise ship is in great need of renovating! This is also not the first review of this ship that showed the same issues. Thank you for your kind reporting!
My first cruise was in 1992, this ship was brand new back then! It was on the Carnival Celebration which later became a Bahamas Paradise ship. This was the 2nd ship for Bahamas Paradise, they scrapped the Celebration. I went back on the Celebration in 2019, she was old but maintained well - it brought back a lot of memories! I loved that there were a few unique features like the stained glass that they kept. I had broken my leg and was in a cast for the cruise, I realized what a challenge it is for those with disabilities to get around older ships.
I searched my memory for any 90’s ship I ever sailed on, but I cannot recall any of them looking like this! That said, Margaritaville at sea could capitalize on this 90’s vibe by making this ship modern while keeping the history.
Great video. Hats off to you two for telling us like it really is. Surprised to hear about the smells. Glad the food was fair to good, and that there wasn’t much to the port call. Once again, well done telling us the way it is. Hope Ben gets to feeling better
Sorry to hear David had such pain, it's very uncomfortable. I left some info below for anyone having the same problem. Always wondered how good this cruise was, think I'll be bringing some sort of air freshener if I ever go..lol Tooth Pain Squeeze a few drops of clove oil into 1 teaspoon of olive oil into a dish. Soak Q-tip or cotton ball with the clove oil and gently wipe the swab /cotton ball around the area Or place the cotton ball over the area and keep it there for 5 to 10 minutes. Re-apply every 2 to 3 hours for relief. In a pinch you could probably even ask kitchen staff for clove powder (used a lot in cooking) or a few cloves & oil - crush them into the oil and let them soak- it might not last as long, or you can put the clove directly on the affected area.
I hate the taste of clove but good advice,I've just spent mother's day in bed here in the UK with toothache, going to the emergency dentist tomorrow hopefully ☺
My grandma used to have a little jar of "oil of cloves" that she'd give me as a little kid when I had a toothache. Can't remember if it worked or not, but your comment made me remember that ❤
@@travelwithdebandnick Aww, that so nice it triggered such a sweet memory. It is a very old remedy. I've nvr had need of it but have seen many ppls testimony of how the clove oil is instant relief when rubbed on or dropped on from a dropper. I really enjoy your videos! I've never been on a cruise and I've never wanted to, so likely never will. Just very entertaining and get a real experience watching. Thanks guys! Keep cruising❤
Oh dear! MAS have purchased another ship (from the Costa line) which is now in my home city of Belfast getting a full refurb! I see it every day when I'm in work. This video made me chuckle. I hope the new ship is better than this one....and I hope this one gets a refurb one day too! Maybe they'll send it to Belfast for a makeover 😀
I've been on Margaritaville at Sea & really had fun. Yes she's old so she lacks some amenities but the 5 O'clock Somewhere bar was great. The food in the dining room is good. The staff was fantastic. My dinner servers remembered my name when I bumped into them in the hall. And I had fun with a lot of really nice people. I'll go again if I have a couple of days that I just want to go out to sea.
When I started cruising in 1989 that ship would have been state of the art; however, the 1950's vintage ships I sailed were much more elegant. This one does kind of look like a ferry.
Thank you for this video! It’s very timely for us, as we’re headed on this ship next week. I’m not going in with super high expectations since we also cruise a lot and have travelled on many modern ships. I booked this as a little addition to our trip to Florida and for a beach day in the Bahamas! I appreciate your honesty in this video!
We had a great time on that ship in November 2022. No smells. Our carpet was a little soggy outside our door but they had just had a hurricane. The port in Bahamas is a little sketch and people should really book an excursion through the cruise line.
You guys have got me excited about a few ships I have previously not considered… and warned me about a few I knew nothing about! Thanks for your always interesting reviews! I enjoyed the different ways you both tried to put a “positive spin” on this disaster. 😂
I don't know if a modern cruise ship filled to the brim with up to 7000 people is really to be considered an improvement. I have the impression that older ships such as this one provide more breathing space for their passengers.
You have a point. Smaller and even older does not mean worse. And the price appears to be very reasonable. That pizza looked delicious. Although that muster drill was very strange.
OMG I follow 3 UA-camrs who have gone on this cruise line. 1 guy had to have his room changed. Part of me wants to go on it out of curiosity but at the same time I’m terrified! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sailed on her as the Grand Classica back in 2019 for July 4th. It was okay. Nothing flashy, just a short cheap getaway to Grand Bahama. She definitely looks nicer now than back then. Curious to try it out with the re-brand.
"I've been meaning to go on a diet for a while, so this ship is going to be good for me." I thought you weren't allowed to bring incendiary devices on board, cos that was a massive burn!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This was a great review! I really appreciate that you were able to give credit for the good things you found even though the rest might have been pretty awful. If you're ever going to feel like death warmed over with a toothache, at least it was on a cruddy ship where you didn't have to feel like you were missing out. I hope you feel better now!
Agreed. With their experiences on some really top-tier ships it would've been easy to become elitist in their standards. It was great they still had that down-to-earth sense of fun and appreciation for everything.
I hope Margaritaville sees this video and makes some improvements on the ship, starting with the smell in the cabins. I am sorry for your bad experience. At least it was only 2 days.
I like the interior design, though they do need to reupholster some of the worn furniture covers. New ships have so much over the top and busy decorating that seeing that ship is a breath of fresh air. I love all the windows and views. I think I'd certainly cruise on that smaller ship.
Wow! Thanks for the information definitely this ship is not my cup of tea. Totally appreciate your honesty and hope David got help with the tooth pain.

@@chicagogyrl4846no themed events for single ladies but the ship is small so everyone has a blast
Thank you for sharing the disability access of the ship. My husband has been a wheelchair user for over 50 years and we love cruising so all information on access is greatly appreciated.
The stools in the bar are so short, probably because it’s a short fall when drunk!!😂😂😂
Made me chuckle 🤭
Different stroke for different folks. I personally could never stay on this tacky ship.
Not everyone can stomach this tacky american maga palace
@@jlpkbrb1086What are you even talking about? Jimmy Buffet was one of the nicest people around and did his best to bring people together! I sailed on that ship as the Costa Classica around the Greek Islands in 1997. At that time, it was considered a fairly large ship. How times have changed! It’s hilarious the elevator still speaks Italian 😂
Indeed! I better brush up really well on my Italiano before I sail, in case it gets stuck, and then giving instructions in Italiano!
1991 version of Siri, the talking elevator! 😂😂
I've never seen you look guys so uncomfortable (it's adorable). Thank you for going through this so we don't have to. You found all the positives and were very respectful to the brand. Props to you for being very inclusive. There's definitely a market for Margaritaville.

Margaritaville is an entire empire owned by Jimmy Buffett. The website shows a lot of what is going on with his business empire.
The retro vibe on that ship is amazing. It's like being in a hotel, in the Catskills, in New York, in the 1960's!
Vintage not retro
The Pines!
The Paramount!!
It's more 1960s/70s for sure than 1990s.
😂
GREAT! LOL
Don’t worry they said it wouldn’t sink even if it floods lol

Oh they complained and trash talked. It’s just edited out. There’s not much good about this ship.
Chivalry is not dead on Margaritaville at Sea. Lol
I suppose “sick first” is referring to people who may have been injured in whatever calamity caused a abandon shop situation.
Hope you've recovered from your toothache David. You were a real trooper to be part of the filming. Thanks for the informative narrative Ben.
Thank you guys for taking one for the team! Hope you are feeling better David!!
Cheers from Colorado, USA
Nothing worse than a toothache! Gosh David, I hope you were able to get immediate, effective pain release. I felt terrible for you!
About time they did.
Thank you for talking about accessibility, it’s such important information but often overlooked. Amazing video by the way! Very interesting ❤
There's nothing wrong with retro, ancient styling, as long as it's clean and doesn't smell. There are people that will pay a lot just for the nostalgia.
Agreed, not everyone is into glass, chrome and neon everywhere!
Definitely, the fact that they cannot appreciate the vintage vibe and the fact that the decor is maintaining that style is such a shame. I love the simple lines.
Y'all, please don't keep referring to 1991 like it was "just after the big war". It wasn't that long ago! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

What a lovely story !!
More like Dollar General of the Sea...at least Walmarts are bright...
@@allytrudie864Are you ok? Wear a helmet, you might hurt yourself falling off your high horse! 😂

LOL yes my lovely lads they had CDs in 1991 -- we got our first CDs in 1986. And laptops weighed about as much as a Volkswagen

This is the best and most thorough tour of this ship I've seen from any content creator. You may have to pay it a revisit when it gets refurbished.
Just got off the boat a week ago! I had a great time ! Zero bad smells . Yes old boat… you go for a party

I literally laughed out loud when David said he didn't know who Jimmy Buffett was, "Who's this guy they keep playing on TV"🤣 I booked the Margaritaville for the Heroes Sail Free campaign for this Wednesday & watched every video review I could find.
Even for 2 days I’m expecting more!
"Moving UP to Carnival" That's a phrase no one should be using.

You guys are kind, fair, genuine, and full of class. Hope David is feeling better and back to normal from the toothache.
The thing about "cheap cruises" is that you end up paying more to get a worse experience. If you could get by on the base fare, it would be a bargain, but all the add in charges to make it reasonable end up making it more expensive than a Royal Caribbean cruise or the like.
Ok. I’ve never seen your content, and I’ve four minutes in and you two are the cutest men I’ve ever seen. I’m totally in. Let’s go.
Loving how many different lines you are willing to do...and you always make best of it !! Always an adventure.
I'm loving the open minded optimism in the beginning 😂 at least you can say you've done it! You're both amazing 👏🏼 🖤
P.S. The dining room food was dry and overcooked...tasted day old. However, the buffet did have much better food.
Yes we're military & we also received a offer of a free cruise on this ship, but plane tickets are expensive from San Antonio Texas.
we have the equivalent in the southern hemisphere - the pacific island cruises.
Alcohol problems?

I've never even heard of this ship before. When Ben said to David about not being such a princess about the shower, I thought, David probably wishes he was on Princess at that moment!

Gulab means rose.
Gulab jamun are milk balls (dry milk is used like flour to bind), fried and soaked in rose and cardamom syrup.
I always wondered what happened to the dough from donut hole! Thanks for sharing.
What was the cruise ship?
Sitmar Cruise line's Fairsky which was purchased by Princess and renamed Sky Princess years ago. Now there's a newer Sky Princess!
Poor sweet David! I hope the dentist was able to get him feeling better - nothing worse than a bad toothache ❤
I searched my memory for any 90’s ship I ever sailed on, but I cannot recall any of them looking like this! That said, Margaritaville at sea could capitalize on this 90’s vibe by making this ship modern while keeping the history.
I thought the fact that it looked 90s was cool. Not "dated". At this point 90s is straight up vintage, guys.
Great video. Hats off to you two for telling us like it really is. Surprised to hear about the smells. Glad the food was fair to good, and that there wasn’t much to the port call. Once again, well done telling us the way it is. Hope Ben gets to feeling better

Squeeze a few drops of clove oil into 1 teaspoon of olive oil into a dish.
I had the same exact thing happen a few weeks ago. Get Orajel Max. I was fine within 48 hours. No antibiotics needed.

“I hope Paradise doesn’t smell like this!” Made me laugh out loud!
I don't know if a modern cruise ship filled to the brim with up to 7000 people is really to be considered an improvement. I have the impression that older ships such as this one provide more breathing space for their passengers.
I also can't understand what the big issues were with this ship. But maybe these guys are a bit spoiled. Or it was just the toothache...
