Do it! I used to be terrified to cruise! My biggest fear was drowning, so the idea of being at sea.... scary but it was the best experience ever! Before we even got off rhe ship I asked when we were going again haha, been in 8 now and got the next one planned
I was on the same ship and bumped into Ben and David at our first port of call. They were so kind to me as I nearly lost it! Then I saw David the very next morning while we were both picking up a coffee. We had a nice visit, but I didn’t see either of them again throughout the 10 days. I’m loving this video, of course!
Ben any good buffet will not let you reuse the same plate because of the risk of cross contamination. eating utensils easily transfer germs to your plate. If they let you reuse your plate, germs can be transferred to the serving tongs or even the gloved hands of the sever.
Crispy sausage advice - when you're back at home, Air Fry some Cumberland sausages, first for 8 minutes on normal Air Fry mode, turn them and give another 8 minutes. Then, choose Max Fry and do 5 minutes before turning them and cooking for a further 5 minutes. They come out an absolute treat, with a nice crispy outside, but still nice and chewy textured inside. Game changer, for me. Love sausages that are well done.

Your videos are always very entertaining. Food is always a major part of your commentary - have you considered doing one day eating only Vegetarian, one day eating Kohsha, one day eating Gluten Free, etc. It would be really helpful to all those who have dietary or Religious reasons. This would be especially helpful to know what's available away from the main dining venue. Helpful knowledge when travelling from the Southern to Northern Hemisphere. Keep up your unbiased content.

Fav desserts: 1. Carnival Melting Cake - super chocolaty, warm, molten midde. 2 Baked Alaska on HAL Alaskan cruise, it's not on all of the HAL itineraries. Swiss meringue so firm yet creamy, delicious ice cream and base cake layer was wonderful. All components are delicious, but the meringue "takes the cake". 😉
My favorite desert is always bread pudding, with a bourbon or rum sauce, my Granny made it great, takes me back 50 years. I've been on ten cruises & my favorite bread pudding was on a Celebrity ship & runner up was on a NCL cruise. I'll be on the MSC Seashore in two weeks checking on their bread pudding & in December the Sky Princess getting that bread pudding.. Can't wait. 😁🛳

My fav desert is a crème brulee...anywhere! The Edge did a good one and so did Quantum! 🙂The ship looks a bit beige for me but looks lovely and bright. My partner is almost blind so bright ships are for us {T'is why we didn't like Edge); I like the idea of the night light - we have them at home.

We were on Princess cruise line in November for a month around Australia and Sarah was part of the cruise entertainment and I think she is now the director for the sun princess. She was fantastic, fun,friendly and miss her.

Just got off Enchanted Princess. 2 things that was confusing: it was not clear that I could have bought a WiFi package without buying a drink package. I don’t drink much so didn’t buy a package. The dock for embarkation was hidden in the itinerary. The buffet was amazing, much better than the main dinning room. The service was wonderful and the mini suite roomy with 2 TVs.
I’m still loving the lava cake on carnival it is something I always look forward to whenever I cruise! It’s been a while but I do love this ship! Looking good and great video!!! Cheers and love from Canada 🇨🇦

Love bread pudding, but it has to be my Granny's recipe. On the last cruise, I became addicted to their banana creme pie...until they brought out the chocolate fountain with lots of fresh fruit. That was absolutely fantastic and was the stuff that dreams are made of. Unfortunately, I almost got in trouble when I tried to just chug the chocolate directly.

Stopping as I see things: I don't know if you call it food anxiety.... But I'd be uncomfortable with people picking out the food for me. I would feel very judged for what I want and how much I want to eat. Plus, food workers don't quite understand that I just want a taste of it. They give you too much in every "taste".. so that if I don't like it, I'll feel that my only 2 choices are: waste food that shouldn't have been wasted, or eat the food that I don't like .. so it's not wasted.

This is a wonderful look at the Sun Princess. We've never sailed on a Princess cruise, but my goodness, this ship is amazing! The layout is strange...I can't imagine why they did that, but it's beautiful. You two give an awesome tour. Thanks so much. I look forward to seeing the second part.

Stopping as I see things: I don't know if you call it food anxiety.... But I'd be uncomfortable with people picking out the food for me. I would feel very judged for what I want and how much I want to eat.
Plus, food workers don't quite understand that I just want a taste of it. They give you too much in every "taste".. so that if I don't like it, I'll feel that my only 2 choices are: waste food that shouldn't have been wasted, or eat the food that I don't like .. so it's not wasted.
Yes, we get that. Sometimes we would find ourselves saying "More please... more please..."
