Thank you Rod for a great depiction of a beautiful creature. The butterfly is aptly named as the swallow tail. As you know I live in Ireland and each year, on or about the 31st March, the swallows arrive here from central Africa to breed and feed off the abundance of insects. It has a forked tail just like the butterfly and some get it confused with the house martin which has a fan tail. Semper Fi.

I love this .I have seen pyrography before and it always seems heavy but you have really done this so delicate and it looks great on the butterfly and caterpillar ,lol .Two for one.I have not seen it coloured like this before and I think it really gives it a 3D feel 🥰
