Today is the day! We put my Mustang GT known as Smurrf up on the dyno using 93 octane pump gas after a long install day of the VMP gen2R and then the VMP Gen 3! VMP performance had high expectations with their Gen 3 supercharger on my car and WOW what amazing results for a stock engine with stock fuel system, transmission, and more! The VMP Gen 3 truly does boggle my mind and it is a worthy contender in the world of boost. Boosting a Mustang GT has never seemed easier in a world where this power is so easily obtained. Thanks for watching!

So proud of my Blue pony!
Huge thanks to VMP for being so awesome.
Coyotes are definitely cheating 😂
So what are all the mods done to the car? Have a 2012 gt myself and wondering what else is done.
Time for built heads
Motor is stock, transmission is stock with twin disc clutch, stock driveshaft, stock diff, and lower control arms. Barton short shifter as well.

So glad you were able to come down! Thanks for letting us play with Smurrf. Come back soon!
What pulley was used on the Gen. 3? 90mm or 85mm? I'm sure it will be covered on tuning tuesday.
Toss him the keys to my Shelby next time 😁
Which pulley did you guys run on the Gen 3 pulls? @vmpperformance

Good marketing by VMP!
Thanks for the fast upload on this one! Congrats on the 700 daily mark!
Glad to see you finally got a proper supercharger on there! These VMP blowers are great for daily driving. Gives you so much torque in the regular RPMs that you drive at. Hope you’ll love yours as much as I do mine!

That’s amazing! Thanks for the video... love the comment about when the tires break loose at high rpm’s. This took me by surprise after installing my SC. Third gear pulls are the best @60 when the street tires let loose... gotta fix that!
And the countdown till "my motor exploded" video begins.
Not a LS.
Its actually an engine
I currently own a 17 coyote myself. My comments are based on reality.
Only time will tell. As usual I hope im wrong, but... well... lets hope this time I am.
Your comment fails to realise that a formula drifter has a '15 stang (I realize there is a difference between the coyote motors) pushing 1k hp, with just the vmp SC, e90, and colder plugs. Motor is stock. Running over 3 years now with wide open throttle drifting, and has yet to have an issue with the motor. I'd say coyote engines do well with boost.
@@meshuggah921 that sounds great, but I seriously doubt it.
Stock block....sure, but I dont see stock internals sustaining 1000hp and the abuse of drifting....
You spend any decent amount of time banging off the limiter (aka 99% of the time drifting) at 1000hp and your stock internals are going to become externals
I know the motor is great, but I dont think its that great.
Im getting old tho... who knows. When I was a kid a stock 5.0L mustang made 225hp 🤣😎
Needs oil pump gears TVS FTW!

That just not fair... Itsjusta6 is close to 1000whp on e85 and is drag prepped. Still would be fun to see you guys do some runs.
Jeff Flogerzi true that
Wouldn’t even be close- poor smurrf wouldn’t have a chance lol
it is pretty fair actually ( at least for neihbor) it makes around 900 to the wheel) plus if cleetus drives it it will rip my boy gavin up
@@fredmelendez4547 It made 900whp on the stock motor. Now it has a built motor.

@matt matt not gen 1 coyotes, not for very long at least.
Well, this was fun to watch. Nothing a car coming up on the power curve and busting the tires loose on the street. Got to love it!!!

Erman D'Alesandro 🔥
Pump gas, Stock oil pump gears, and stock internals, and 108,000 miles on the car and it makes 700 wheel......tbh, I’d be a little concerned about how long the rods, pistons, and oil pump gears will last. Very impressive numbers, but I’d heard on an 11-14 Coyote, 600 wheel is about as far as you want to push it for long term reliability.
Noo you can turn it up to 650whp safely, im adding the oil pump gears on my paxton coyote and should be good for high 600s to low 700s, everything else is stock

Thats S550 Fi numbers ! Be careful with smurf!
Even gen1 coyotes handle 825whp without any issues. 850+ is the danger zone. Gen 2 and gen 3 are north of 900 pretty safely unless you smack the rev limiter everyday.
I’ve been roughly 850whp for the past 3 years... all in the tune!
Awesome video, can't believe you got the wind noise out of the end.

Wow those are some great numbers! 710hp. How long do you think the motor will hold up?
boostedfiveoh exactly what I was thinking. Isn’t it a risk going over 650 rwhp and over 10 psi on stock internals?
@@mustanggt5162 Ya pushing over 650 is definitely risky on stock on internals. I give him respect for pushing it that hard because i wouldn't.
My car hit 700whp running 11psi on a D1. Then my tuner took 1.5 degrees of timing away to be safe. Hopefully they took some timing also.
@@ncseminole That's impressive. How long have you been running this setup? I have a p1 but only pushing 6lbs lol at 571whp. You guys are making me want to turn mine up. Lol

He's done both of those already lol
wheeler buildz lol 🤦♂️🤣 his done lots of vidz with a supra
Why does everyone think a car with 100k miles is a lot?
cause they don’t watch mighty car mods
Widow Ws6 cause most people don’t care for their cars so when it’s nearing 100k it’s not as good as it used to be so they just think it’s normal for cars to be shot at 100k lmao
Because people still live in the past.😂
Well because most people never get to 100k because people will move to the next model year for the better features or a different brand or class of car all together and also because that’s a significant service milestone for the car in terms of the engine.
Because in a type of car which is known to get the shit beaten out of them, it is a lot.
Daymmm, that's freaking sick!

@@nickpond it's not gonna be the tune the those motors start to shit them self's at around 700+ on the gen 1s and his car has 100k miles on it
Has he done the oil pump gears? I'd say it easily hits 150k miles. He's a pretty tame driver. He does pulls but he rarely does hard launches or bangs gears aggressively which is where parts would see the most stress.
