I was going to go with a Kenne Bell but now that’s off the list without a second question!! I love what I’ve been seeing with the VMP blowers!! So excited for when I can get mine!! Can you guys do a dyno run with the gen 3r on a 5.4 with a 91 octane tune for us poor fellas in AZ with horrible gas? I know they make great power on e85 but would live to see numbers on red 91 pump gas.

That is why he said it's for 1%ers. On an all out race car you don't mind losing torque to gain a decent amount of hp up top the car will be faster period. The thing is putting out over 900 torque to the tires with either blower so imo its a bit silly to be talking about not wanting to lose that torque. You'll have a hard time hooking that much torque on the street. This thing is a monster. I know for sure the gen3r is good for me. The ss version is only for people going absolutely max effort spinning it to the moon and back. If you aren't doing that then you don't need the ss.
Not really. Blower rpm is high and that makes heat. Why would spinning a smaller supercharger faster be better and more efficient than a larger slower spinning supercharger? If NHRA allowed twin screw designs they would be so much faster today.

Nobody is saying they outdo the bigger blowers (the real big ones anyways) what were saying is that for the size it is it makes unbeleivable power and is very efficient. All the twin screw guys keep saying efficiency efficiency efficiency to discredit the vmp blowers but when a 2.65 liter blower keeps up nicely with a 3.6 liter blower both at 24 psi (so no the whipple was NOT underspun at all) then i dont think people should be throwing inefficiency claims towards said 2.65 liter blower. Clearly its pretty damn efficient or it would not be capable of pulling the numbers it does out of 2.65 liter blower. I know i know youre a kb guy i see you all over vmps videos trying to throw shade at them (why? Im a vmp guy and have NEVER commented anything at all much less throw shade towards any twin screw video comment section in my life) nobody is twisting your arm to use a small blower but at the very least you could give credit for all vmp has done with the tvs blowers and how far theyve come and what theyre capable of. I wonder if vmp has tunes for bolt on trinity blowers? I’m sure they do ..after that build the motor maybe 9:7_1 and call or a day .. but love vmp products top quality ..

About the same as the 5.4 really 800ish with good fuel and tune they can live for a good while. 700-750 and you're def good to go I don't suggest 800+ unless you're running some good fuel like c16 or e85 or whatever.
They didn't make 1100+ rwhp on a car that could easily be driven on the street wherever fully loaded with ac and all creatures comforts. Not even close. Anything that had anywhere near that kind of power was a straight up drag car.
You need to bolt this thing onto a motor that can turn 8500 rpm with a 2.4 upper and 15% lower with compression of 11:1 cams that can breath up top with 2" header to 3.5 collector with cutouts throw on a big boy tb with jlt 145 or whatever you will crack 1350 wheel

We do custom tune quote a few GT500s at VMP, your setup would not be an issue though it needs fuel upgrades to be safe.
Didn’t this car have a Whipple when he first built this motor? I haven’t seen it since he swapped over the a Vmp.

Stock is 8.5:1, this motor is 9.5:1.

They had what we considered to be adequate blower speed for Gen 3R secret sauce so we sent that to them.

slyr1 they do fit. Nobody does them. Gt350 have the same style head as the coyote so it will bolt right on just like the whipples.
