There are a lot of home makeovers on social media, but when they're done, they ALL look like copycats of each other. Your house looks uniquely you. It's whimsical and delicate and a pastel dreamscape and it fits your personality PERFECTLY. You somehow are able to put together a cohesive, inviting, and stunning place that looks like nobody but you. It's SO REFRESHING!
Because she doesn’t aim to look luxurious or expensive. She just does what SHE truly enjoys. And i love florals, pastel, grandmotherly things and her style is all that 😍 so cute

I’m going to be honest here - when I first saw the house unrenovated, I was very confused how you could make it look modern. With each renovation you do, it becomes more and more one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen, genuinely. I am enjoying this series more than anything offered (UA-cam, TV, streaming services, etc.) for viewing/entertainment at the moment. With each room, I feel a burst of serotonin and inspiration that I didn’t know could exist from a living space (and it’s not even mine!!). This is truly amazing.

Love how everything is so colourful and each room kind of has its own colour but it still all looks SO NICE TOGETHER. that end shot with the dining/ kitchen behind you just made my pastel aesthetic brain so happy!!! Amazing job Mia and family!!!
I JUST went through the “it’s too pink” issue with my dining room. Painted half the room, hated the color, bought a new shade and it was everything! I agreed with your choice to change the pinks ! Good call

My favorite thing about her channel is how much work goes into her videos. She doesn’t just post bc she has to, she posts bc she wants go & makes them so interesting.
When my husband cut our blinds like that he took them off the rod then he rolled them up and taped them with painters tape so they were even and stayed in place, then cut them evenly from each side with a table saw. It’s so fast and makes them very even.
I said “graj” when referencing my garage recently and my kids looked at me like I grew an extra head. Thanks, Mia!

It's a beautiful dining room, and i'm always amazed by the tons of effort that you and your family spend doing this renovations. Really nice to see how everyone is always so happily involved. I do have some questions:
1. Will you still live there after the wedding or it will be another 'studio house'?
2. Does your fiancé also likes all the different style that's running throught the hole house?
3. Your parents have a especial corner for them in the house?
4. Does your fiancé have a room that he can decides how it's going to look? (if this will be his house too)
That's all my questions, and once again: it's amazingly beautiful and I think that your are really brave for all that you have done!

I absolutely love that you're going a completely different and fun route with this house! I'd never think to do all the things you've done but I absolutely love all of it!
I totally agree with you on the change of pink... the original color is more of a "bubble gum" pink that you'd use in a kids room... the new shade is more of a "dusty" color... to me it looks more sophisticated and transforms the room from "a little kid's fairy tale dream tea party" to "sophisticated yet fun tea time dining room"
I absolutely love Mia’s style! It’s always so cute! The pastel colors she chose for the kitchen and dining room is absolutely breathtaking and the really creative ceiling reminds me of Cesar’s palace in Las Vegas! I’m so excited to see the finished house tour video in the future!
I love how this room turned out! I did the very same thing to my walls years ago and painted it black. However, becoming a grandparent, I realized that they needed comfort in colors. My daughter has me hooked on rose gold, so painting my bath with rose gold glitter paint and glamming it up for this 45 y/o! I'm so excited!

Hi Mia I have to say that your home is absolutely beautiful. I enjoy the very whimsical feel you have going on. The back splash in your kitchen studio as well as your basement kitchen is so fabulous. We renovated our front bathroom as it was 51 years old and the galvanized pipes needed to be replaced. It looks beautiful but we hired it out. Boy that was really expensive…. I think I would have tried to do all the tile after seeing this video. You are all such a joy to watch and love all the laughter, joy and love you have when you are a;; together. For the last 4-5 days I have watched dozens of your videos and enjoyed every one! Thank you for sharing. I so enjoy your attitude of charitable gifts and donations. Before seeing your house renovation videos I would have imagined these combos to be a clutter disaster with no taste, but now seeing how whimsical and light and happy and creative and beautiful and clean and how well its coming together Im figuring out how to convince my husband to let me do this to our house like this I love it so much
I just love everything you have done so far. It screams you. And when a house can reflect your personality it’s truly special. I don’t think it’s overwhelming because even though it is colorful it’s pastels which are very calming. I can’t wait to see the living room!

For next time, there is wood bleach that lightens wood! I've tried homemade versions (basically laundry bleach) and it was kinda spotty, but store bought (zinsser is the brand I believe) worked really well!
Yes I was thinking this too! I use oxalic acid, it's great for water stains in wood.
I’ve bleached wood before (with regular bleach) and it really does remove the color!
Same here. I was also thinking of techniques like wash painting with a mix of light colors to achieve a natural look. I've done it before and the result is really nice.
